The smile on Jason Lockwood’s lips didn’t fade. "You can fight me all you want, but only if you’re not afraid of losing your job again. Tomboy, you should know that right now, besides me, no other company would dare hire you."

"Despicable! Shameless! You plastic surgery freak! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be unable to find a job! I wouldn’t have been forced to work in this godforsaken place!" She, who used to work with a scalpel, was now working with paper.

’God, this is so infuriating!’

"Oh? So you’re saying you despise this job?"

Jasmine Warren plopped right down on the floor and yelled, "That’s right! I despise it! I despise it! I absolutely despise it!"

"Fine. In that case, Ash, fire her immediately."

"Yes."

The moment she heard Jason Lockwood, Jasmine Warren threw all caution to the wind. She shot up from the floor and lunged at him. "I’ve already lost my job, so what the hell do I have to be afraid of! You plastic surgery freak, I’m going to rip that sinister, fake face of yours right off!"

The powerful momentum sent Jason Lockwood stumbling back and onto the floor. Before he could even react, Jasmine Warren had straddled him and was swinging her fists at his handsome face.

Ash, the assistant, was so stunned he froze.

’Does this woman have a death wish?’

After taking two punches, Jason Lockwood’s face turned dangerously dark. His usual patience with Jasmine Warren completely evaporated. He grabbed her, yanked her off of him, and got to his feet before disdainfully tossing her onto the floor. "Have you had enough?"

"You plastic surgery freak, I’ll kill you!" ’I have nothing left to lose, so what’s there to be afraid of!’

Seeing Jasmine Warren acting like a madwoman, Jason Lockwood gripped her arms tightly. His icy eyes shot a cold glare at the dumbfounded Ash. "Get the hell out!"

"Yes, yes, of course."

Once Ash was gone, Jason Lockwood gave a hard tug, bent down, and hoisted the woman over his shoulder, marching directly into his private office.

Jasmine Warren roared in fury, "You plastic surgery freak! If you’ve got any guts, put me down! We can go one-on-one!"

After entering the room, Jason Lockwood shut the door and locked it.

He carried Jasmine Warren straight to the lounge area.

Once they were in the lounge, Jason Lockwood unceremoniously dumped her onto the bed!

As Jasmine Warren tried to get up, he grabbed her by the throat and asked in a harsh voice, "Do you have any idea what happens to people who piss me off?"

The man’s words sent a shiver of fear through Jasmine Warren, but she forced herself to remain calm and shouted, "You plastic surgery freak! If you kill me, you won’t get away with it!"

"I, Jason Lockwood, have plenty of ways to punish someone." Jason Lockwood sneered, releasing her throat. He straightened up, slowly cracking his knuckles.

To Jasmine Warren, Jason Lockwood looked like a demon in that moment.

She was too scared to even curse anymore, but she could still run!

With that thought, Jasmine Warren scrambled off the bed and bolted for the door.

A cold, wicked smirk touched Jason Lockwood’s lips as he reached out and grabbed her. "Did you really think you could piss me off and then just walk away?"

"You plastic surgery freak, what the hell do you want from me?!" This time when Jasmine Warren spoke, her voice lacked its earlier bravado.

There was even a hint of surrender in her tone.

"Take off your shoes." Jason Lockwood sneered, his gaze falling to the hideously ugly boots on her feet.

’Take off my shoes? That bastard actually wants me to take off my shoes? And with just the two of us here...’

Jasmine Warren’s eyes shot to Jason Lockwood, full of suspicion. She crossed her arms over her chest and backed away. "Wh-what are you going to do?"
