Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 348: A Love With Nowhere to Go (Part 48)
Seeing Kiki looking so aggrieved, his eyes welling up with tears, made Mika Summers’s heart ache. She pulled Kiki into her arms and glared up at Tristan Grayson. "Tristan Grayson, why did you yell at him?"
"It’s perfectly normal to scold a child when he does something wrong," Tristan Grayson explained helplessly.
"Kiki is my son, and I forbid you from ever using that tone with him again." Hearing Tristan Grayson’s matter-of-fact tone, Mika Summers’s heart shattered. ’I can’t even imagine how he treated Kiki during the two-plus years I was gone.’
At the thought, Mika Summers hugged Kiki even tighter, as if afraid Tristan Grayson would snatch him away.
Tristan Grayson’s brow furrowed deeply. "Mika Summers, he’s my son too."
"No, he’s not! I’m the one who gave birth to Kiki. He’s my son, and mine alone."
’Alone?’ Tristan Grayson walked over to the sofa, irritated, and sat down.
Mika Summers gently released Kiki and asked with a smile, "Kiki, how about Mommy takes you out? We can get something to eat, and then go to the mall. I’ll buy you anything you like."
Kiki first snuck a glance at Tristan Grayson. Seeing no reaction from him, Kiki turned back to Mika Summers and nodded.
"Alright, let’s go," Mika Summers said happily, scooping Kiki up into her arms.
Just then, Tristan Grayson coolly rose from the sofa.
Mika Summers just frowned and shot him a cold glance. Not thinking much of it, she turned and walked toward the door with Kiki in her arms.
With a grim expression, Tristan Grayson followed the mother and son.
Mika Summers walked quickly with Kiki in her arms. Once outside, she placed Kiki in the front passenger seat. By the time she had finished buckling his seatbelt, Tristan Grayson had locked the apartment door and was standing beside the car.
Mika Summers’s anger flared the moment she saw him. "What do you think you’re doing?"
"I’m hungry too, and I need to eat," Tristan Grayson said matter-of-factly, reaching for the rear door handle.
This made Mika Summers even angrier. She clamped her hand down on his. "If you need to eat, go by yourself! Stop following us."
"Kiki asked me to come," Tristan Grayson said with a helpless shrug.
"Kiki? Tristan Grayson, do you think I’m blind?" ’He’s the one shamelessly tagging along, and now he has the nerve to blame Kiki...’
However, no sooner had the words left Mika Summers’s mouth than Kiki pouted from the front seat and said sullenly, "If Daddy isn’t going, I’m not going either."
Tristan Grayson’s lips curved into a roguish smirk. He gave Mika Summers a provocative arch of his eyebrows.
Mika Summers was so furious she wanted to send him flying with a kick. But for the sake of pleasing her son, she was powerless and could only back down. She released Tristan Grayson’s hand, raising her own into a tight fist. She spat out harshly at him, "Tristan Grayson, you are truly... utterly... shameless!!"
Tristan Grayson caught her small fist in his hand. He leaned in, his other arm wrapping firmly around her waist and pinning her against the car. "Mm," he said, his voice laced with a wicked confidence. "This is only the beginning!" ’As long as I can keep her by my side, what does it matter if I have to be a little shameless?’
’And what does it matter if my methods are a bit despicable?’ 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"You bastard, let go of me!" Mika Summers struggled, shoving him away. She spun around, flipping her hair back, and snarled, "Tristan Grayson, I’m warning you! Don’t you dare get handsy with me, or you’ll regret it!"
Tristan Grayson scoffed, completely unfazed. "And how will I regret it?"
"You’ll see!" Mika Summers said coldly, her hands clenched into fists.
