Yara Ross followed the address on the business card and found Sovereign Pictures.

Looking at the magnificent company building, the smile on her lips grew with satisfaction.

No wonder her daughter refused to try and please Xiao Jue. It turned out there was an even bigger boss in the picture.

Just then, a BMW pulled up to the company’s main entrance. The front passenger door opened, and a woman in a black business suit got out. She walked to the rear door, leaned over, and opened it. A man stepped out, his long legs emerging first.

Seeing Archie Lockwood get out of the car, Louise Jordan said coolly, "Sir, Mr. Kent just sent word. He said we should go straight up and wait for him. He’ll be back soon."

"Mm," Archie Lockwood replied coldly. He lifted his eyes to look at the company building, a wicked smile playing on his lips.

He had been searching for Mika for the past few years, but he never would have imagined that she had actually been taken by Silas Kent.

Yara Ross stood at the main entrance, watching the man who had just gotten out of the car. Judging by his looks and his aura, she could tell his status was anything but ordinary.

’He was most likely the boss of this company.’

Just as she was about to reach Archie Lockwood, Howard Rhodes, who had just parked the car, walked over. He quickly raised a hand to block the woman and asked coolly, "Ma’am, do you have business with our boss?"

Hearing the word "boss," Yara Ross became even more certain that this had to be Mr. Kent. "Mr. Kent, I’m Eleanor’s mother, Yara Ross. Mr. Kent, I’ve come today to ask you for a favor."

Archie Lockwood hadn’t paid the woman any mind at first, but when he heard the name "Eleanor," he stopped in his tracks. His eyes turned cold and dark as he looked at her. "Your daughter... is named Eleanor Bishop?"

"Yes, yes, that’s right. I’m Eleanor’s mother." Now Yara Ross was absolutely positive that the man before her was Mr. Kent. ’It looks like my Eleanor has really found a good catch this time,’ she thought.

"Heh..." Archie Lockwood gave a mocking smirk and asked coolly, "What favor do you want from me?"

"Mr. Kent, for you to be running such a large comp—"

Listening to the woman’s flattery, Archie Lockwood cut her off, his face cold and his voice sharp. "You can skip the pleasantries. Just tell me, what is it you need my help with?"

"Well, you see, Eleanor’s father had a small accident and ended up owing a lot of money. If you truly like our Elea—"

Not wanting to hear any more, Archie Lockwood cut her off again, his voice cold. "So, you’re hoping I’ll lend you the money?"

"Lend?" Clearly, Yara Ross was not pleased by that word.

Archie Lockwood found this hilarious. "Of course, ’lend.’ Miss Bishop and I have no relationship whatsoever. If not lend, what, you expect me to just give it to you for free?"

"Mr. Kent, that’s not the right way to look at it. You and Eleanor are dating, and you’ll surely get married in the future. If you’re not even willing to part with this little bit of money now, wouldn’t our Eleanor be getting the short end of the stick?" ’Running such a huge company, and he’s not even willing to give up this little bit of cash.’

’He’s honestly not even as good as Xiao Jue.’

"Heh heh, Mrs. Bishop, are you sure you’re not selling your daughter?" Archie Lockwood said with a cold laugh, his eyes darkening.

"Mr. Kent, I can see you’re not the least bit sincere about our Eleanor."

Archie Lockwood raised a hand and twisted the ring on his finger. He said with a cold smile, "Mrs. Bishop, of course I’m not sincere about your Eleanor. If the Bishop Family is really that short on cash, I don’t mind giving you some. However... that money won’t be free."
