Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 463: Say I Love You From This Moment On
Who says you have to be in love to get married?
That one sentence sent a violent shudder through Eleanor Bishop’s body and soul. She looked up at Jason Lockwood in shock.
A vicious smile played on Jason Lockwood’s lips. He reached out, grabbing her chin tightly and staring at her coldly as he spoke slowly, "Eleanor Bishop, there is actually another way. And that is for you to beg me. Get on your knees and beg me to marry you. That way, we’ll be family. Your business will be my business, and I’ll naturally help you solve the Bishop Family’s troubles."
The once-proud woman he had been determined to conquer, now in such a sorry state, only inspired his ridicule and contempt. He didn’t feel a shred of pity for her; instead, he felt a certain amusement, as if watching a good show.
’I’m very curious to see what Archie Lockwood’s attitude toward this woman truly is...’ 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
’Whatever Archie Lockwood cares about, I’ll make sure to use it to my full advantage.’
"Impossible!" Eleanor Bishop suppressed her fear and slapped Jason Lockwood’s hand away.
Jason Lockwood seemed to have anticipated her answer, the smile on his lips widening. "Impossible? Heh. In that case, you’ll probably just have to go ask Archie Lockwood for help." With that, he stood up.
Eleanor Bishop shot to her feet, pointing at Jason Lockwood and yelling furiously, "Jason Lockwood, you... you bastard!"
"Eleanor Bishop, I gave you a suggestion. If you won’t take it, then don’t blame me for being heartless. You brought all of this on yourself." After speaking coldly, Jason Lockwood ignored the woman in the room and strode out of the office.
Eleanor Bishop watched the heartless, treacherous man leave. She immediately ran after him, but the bodyguards stationed at the door reached out and blocked her path.
She could only watch as that son of a bitch, Jason Lockwood, disappeared from her sight.
’I knew all along that coming here would inevitably mean being verbally humiliated by Jason Lockwood. But for the sake of my family, I had to come.’
’As long as Jason Lockwood helped me solve the Bishop Family’s troubles, what did a little humiliation matter...?’
’But I never imagined that this time, the humiliation wouldn’t just be verbal—that he would actually demand I get on my knees and beg him to marry me before he would help...’
Eleanor Bishop left Jazz Dynasty in tears. She didn’t dare go home, because if she did, her mother would surely press her for the outcome.
’How could I possibly tell her what happened...?’
Eleanor Bishop wasn’t watching where she was going, so she didn’t see the person in front of her and walked straight into them.
"DAMN IT! Who the hell is that? Are you blind?!"
The man’s angry shout rang out. Eleanor Bishop shuddered, snapping back to reality. She quickly bowed her head and apologized to him, "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I... I didn’t do it on purpose..."
After hearing Eleanor Bishop’s words, the man frowned and looked her over. When he saw what a great beauty she was, a lecherous smile spread across his face. "Heh heh, if it wasn’t on purpose, then it must have been intentional." As he spoke, the man reached for Eleanor’s hand.
Eleanor Bishop retreated in fright. "I’m sorry, it was my fault for bumping into you."
"Heh heh, you certainly did do something wrong. But I’m a magnanimous guy. You come with me somewhere, and I’ll accept your apology." As he spoke, the man forcefully grabbed Eleanor Bishop’s hand.
"Let go of me!" Eleanor Bishop steadied her frightened heart and angrily shook off the man’s hand.
