"Don’t want it?" Gia Miller sneered, then consumed the packet of powder herself.

’She hadn’t wanted this kind of "happiness" back then either...’

’She didn’t want it, but she was forced to take it. Once she got hooked, she could never quit.’ 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Looking at the woman before her, Eleanor Bishop felt an even deeper fear than when she had faced Jason Lockwood.

Gia Miller’s expression was slightly menacing as she smiled and asked, "Miss Bishop, do you really not recognize me?"

"I-I don’t know you..." ’How could I possibly know such a terrifying woman?’

Seeing how frightened Eleanor Bishop was, Gia Miller’s lips curled into a sarcastic smirk. "Miss Bishop, you have a truly terrible memory."

"I really don’t know you. Who are you?"

Gia Miller shook her head and sighed, her eyes filled with derision. "Alas, I suppose that makes sense. How could a high-society lady like Miss Bishop ever know a woman like me."

Eleanor Bishop didn’t understand what the woman meant. She hugged herself tightly, her eyes fixed on the half-open door.

Gia Miller noticed Eleanor’s eyes on the ajar door and her lips curled into a cold smile. She stood up, turned, and walked deeper into the room.

The moment she saw the woman walk away, Eleanor Bishop shot to her feet and bolted for the door.

Just as she expected, Eleanor Bishop made a run for it. Gia Miller’s expression only faltered for a second before she heard Leon Warren and the others shouting as they prepared to give chase.

Seeing them all about to rush out, Gia Miller grabbed one of the men and barked coldly, "Stop! If all of you go out and The Baron finds out, he’ll have you punished."

"Then what should we do? The Baron specifically asked for that woman!"

"Let’s just get her back first." Leon Warren angrily threw his cigarette butt to the ground and stormed out the door.

The other men followed him out.

Gia Miller watched them all leave. She walked over to the bed, picked up a pack of cigarettes from the table, took one out, lit it, and began to smoke slowly.

Her gaze, however, was complicated...

Eleanor Bishop ran outside, only to see cars surrounding the area.

Just as she was about to hide, several men burst out in pursuit.

She hadn’t gotten far before they surrounded her.

Eleanor Bishop struggled in terror, but an enraged Leon Warren raised his hand and slapped her twice across the face.

"Damn it! Hold still!"

Crying, Eleanor Bishop clutched her stinging face, no longer daring to run.

Gia Miller had just finished her cigarette when she saw Eleanor Bishop being dragged back in.

She lit another cigarette and walked over to Eleanor Bishop. "If you know what’s good for you, you won’t try to escape again. You should know by now that you can’t get away."

This time, the men bolted the door. Gia Miller dragged a chair over and gestured with her eyes for Eleanor Bishop to sit down.

Eleanor Bishop sat down, terrified. Gia Miller leaned against the wall and continued to smoke.

Of the men in the room, some were lying on the bed, while others were taking the powdered drug, just as Gia Miller had done.

Eleanor Bishop looked at the people in the room, her body trembling with fear.

’She had never been this terrified in her life...’

「In the hospital.」 Archie Lockwood rose from the sofa and walked to the window. As he looked down, his mind involuntarily drifted to the image of the woman standing below, just a few days ago.
