The next morning, Leslie Howard’s first action upon waking up was to grab her cell phone. She logged into Twitter and unfollowed David Redington.

This immediately caused a commotion among the eagerly waiting CP fans on Twitter.

Originally, they were expecting to see sweet interactions or new CP photos of Leslie and Redington, but instead, they got news of the Goddess unfollowing the heartthrob.

Oh no! Could it be that Leslie the Goddess is going to break up with God David Redington?

Even those who weren’t CP fans but just Redington’s sole fans began to worry at this point.

After the afternoon’s filming wrapped up, the assistant director came over to inform her to have a meeting in the small conference room.

Leslie didn’t suspect anything, as she was always included whenever there were significant changes to the plot, providing suggestions from a female perspective.

But today, as soon as she entered the conference room, she heard the door lock behind her.

She turned around, finding herself alone in the narrow room with a man leaning against the door, staring at her intensely with his deep blue eyes.

Leslie tilted her head: "David, what you’re doing... is very unprofessional. You’re a producer, after all."

Informing her of a meeting on purpose — too much!

"Yes, but I’m also your boyfriend, your future husband," David approached and held Leslie’s hand.

Leslie instinctively stepped back, her heel hitting the conference table, and her soft waist leaning backward, firmly supported by David’s large hand.

He leaned forward, his cool breath brushing against her ear: "A touch and you fall back — Leslie, you want it, don’t you?"

"Want your nonsense!" Leslie pouted and pushed him away. "Don’t you remember who’s responsible for making me almost unable to stand during filming this morning... David, if you don’t control yourself more, I... I’ll never follow you on social media again for a lifetime!"

Just talking about it made her annoyed.

She was exhausted by his antics last night, and it was the same early this morning.

As a result, during filming this morning, she nearly stumbled in front of Director Henson.

Thinking about it made Leslie’s teeth itch with frustration. She decided not to bother with David for the rest of the day.

His long fingers pinched Leslie’s sharp chin, pecked her lips softly, "Don’t be angry. Next time, I’ll ask Elizabeth Henson not to schedule you for a morning shoot to avoid exhaustion."

"Grr..." Leslie felt like biting him.

The issue wasn’t about morning or evening shoots.

The root of the problem was him!

But this man seemed intent on disregarding, not showing any remorse, even leaning down to softly kiss her neck.

"David... don’t go too far..." Before her voice fell, an urgent knock came from outside the door.

David frowned.

Aiden Green’s serious voice came in: "Master, we’ve just received word that the Duke is visiting the Wallace family. Do you need to go over there?"

"What!" Leslie immediately sat up straight from the conference table.
