Domineering Mr. CEO and His Impudent Love
Chapter 2546 - 19: He Leans Closer, His Tall Slender Body Inclining Forward
"Come on, let me see if you’ve made any progress lately."
In Molly Wellington’s room upstairs, Yana Lucas casually leaned against the desk and opened the exercise book she had prepared earlier.
She had always tutored Molly Wellington.
Although Yana Lucas was a year younger than Molly Wellington, her intelligence surpassed both her sister Tiffany Lucas and Molly Wellington.
However, this second heir of the Lucas family was naturally aloof, never socializing with outsiders, so the outside world knew little about her.
What others didn’t know was that, despite Yana Lucas’s indifferent personality, she was exceptionally patient with Tiffany Lucas and Molly Wellington, whom she had grown up with.
Sometimes, Lily even felt that Yana seemed more like their sister rather than Lulu and Molly’s little sister.
Molly Wellington was most afraid of science subjects, especially mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Now, with exams, these were compulsory subjects, and thinking about a science problem made her dizzy and her eyesight blurry.
But she was more afraid of seeing Yana Lucas’s displeased expression, so Molly Wellington could only sit obediently, diligently completing the exercises set by Yana.
"Wrong again..."
"Wrong..."
"This one is also wrong..."
Yana’s cold voice kept ringing, almost never stopping. Molly Wellington felt that doing exercises had never been this difficult, but today the questions Yana found for her seemed particularly off.
No matter how she tried.
Poor Molly Wellington had no idea that the questions Yana Lucas picked today were all ones she was weakest at.
Since she often tutored Molly Wellington, Yana Lucas was very aware of her weaknesses.
"Forget it, I’m going out for a bit. Be serious. Finish these questions before I come back. No looking around, no distractions, and definitely don’t leave your seat. Be good, I’ll check them when I return."
Yana Lucas left lightly, leaving the pitiful Molly Wellington.
But Molly Wellington dared not voice any opposition.
She knew Yana probably thought she was stupid and went out to avoid losing her temper.
Molly Wellington didn’t dare let Yana Lucas be disappointed again, so she didn’t dare to be distracted, burying her head in the challenging problems.
Unknowingly, thirty minutes passed...
"Cre-eak—"
The sound of the bedroom door was heard as someone pushed it open.
Molly Wellington thought the person entering was Yana Lucas, she didn’t even lift her head, keeping her gaze on the exercise book, her pen rapidly calculating on the paper.
Yana had instructed before leaving, to finish these questions before she returned.
She was almost done...
The girl with her head down, seriously focused on the exercises, wore a grave expression, never noticing the figure who entered had already come up behind her.
The person leaned in slightly, a tall and slender figure bending forward, the cold blue eyes narrowing as they glanced at the exercise book in front of Molly Wellington.
"With your method, you’ll calculate until the end of time and still won’t get the right answer."
A cold, slightly chilly voice suddenly came from above her head.
The pen swiftly moving in Molly Wellington’s hand paused for a second, then she looked up in shock.
In that sudden glance upward, her body leaned back involuntarily, and the back of her head slammed into a solid, broad chest.
Her bright, almond-shaped eyes met those deep ocean-like blue eyes head-on.
"Abraham... Abraham Redington..." Her voice, tinged with fear, slipped out of Molly Wellington’s mouth.
His gaze was slightly cold, but the ice in his eyes disappeared, turning into a trace of ridicule: "Abraham? Molly Wellington, since when did you start calling me Abraham, huh?"
"I..." If she doesn’t call him Abraham, then what should she call him?
