Timing it, he had the coffee brought over.

Less than three minutes after the waiter left, Aiden Shaw arrived.

He was dressed in a suit and tie, exuding an aura of cool elegance, his handsome face instantly becoming the focal point as he stepped into the coffee shop.

The lines of his side profile were absolutely perfect.

Only because he was ill, there was a hint of pallor in his features, making him appear as if he stood atop a snowy mountain, dauntingly unapproachable.

The gazes of others in the coffee shop followed him until he took a seat, then withdrew.

Eddy looked at his godson across from him: "You’re here, I ordered a latte for you."

He nodded, meeting his gaze: "Godfather, you didn’t call me just to have coffee, did you?"

Over the phone, he mentioned this old shop had launched new coffee, inviting him to try it.

Eddy leaned back, sizing him up: "Not feeling well?"

He admitted honestly: "Got hit by Mom."

Eddy laughed: "Her method of education is still so tough. This time, the beating was quite severe, wasn’t it?"

"I was bedridden for a week."

Eddy examined his handsome face, one irresistible to all women, yet he chose Tiana Thorne among so many.

Recently, Eddy spent half a month delving into Tiana Thorne and discovered she was an exceptionally wise and spirited girl.

In this world, it seemed only such an outstanding girl could capture the eye of his godson.

Despite thinking this way, he still asked the question: "Why did you choose her?"

Aiden Shaw did not hesitate, looking into his eyes, his dark brown pupils narrowed, his voice extremely serious: "She’s the only woman I love."
