The chaotic barrier was strong enough to overcome the initial onslaught by the tribulation lightning but after a few breath, it also began cracking.

Lin Feng had expected this but didn’t get disheartened as it held up for quite a long time and even with cracks it would still be able to hold for a few more breaths.

Lin Feng gritted his teeth slightly inside his soul sea while feeling the burn of a few lightning strikes on his nascent soul as his spiritual barrier got broken too. Even for him the pain of his soul getting injured while his bones slowly disintegrated wasn’t totally ignorable.

Nonetheless, his soul wasn’t too much injured as the lightning already faded away..

He survived but he really was one step away from perishing..

Bai Qingya looked at the charred skeleton with trepidation, she knew that Lin Feng was still alive but couldn’t understand how he really survived that.

She shook her head while sighing and looked towards Yan Lihua who seemed to be lost in epiphany.

That wasn’t surprising given the fact that the qi revolving around Lin Feng is filled with insights.

He stood up and brought out his robes.

Bai Qingya became a little bashfull when she saw that, due to the shock of his tribulation, she hadn’t paid much attention to this detail but seeing that manhood made her remember the searing feeling on her stomach.

Yan Lihua came out of her epiphany and felt a little elated as she made quite progress in her cultivation realm even without cultivating. This is the benefit of getting an epiphany.

Nevertheless, she was still quite far from her breakthrough and she still harboured fear of breaking through to the next realm with a heart demon inside her.

Lin Feng wore his robes and looked at Yan Lihua first before looking at Bai Qingya.
