Alena was shocked when Jasmine casually revealed Yohan’s intention of eradicating the old structure of the Lin clan and building a new one.

​"That son of mine... what in the world is he thinking?" Alena whispered, a grim look appearing on her face. She immediately wanted to leave her bedchamber in a hurry to stop Yohan from whatever he intended to do, but Jasmine stopped her from leaving.

​"It’s better this way..." Jasmine held Alena’s hand with a resolute look on her face. Alena looked at Jasmine with disbelief in her eyes.

​"Jasmine, don’t you understand the heavy burden that he will have to carry his entire life? Killing his blood relatives—the high elders who have served the clan for generations—even if all of them are corrupt, they still served the clan..." Alena was in the midst of completing her sentence when a figure manifested right before her eyes. Both Alena and Jasmine were surprised to see Yohan who appeared inside her bed chamber.

​"They don’t deserve your mercy... those bastards are beyond saving."he looked Alena,he knew his mother is very innocent women but alas she doesn’t understand the greed of humans,those laidback elders will go any length to sustain the power and wealth that they were enjoying so far.

​"Yohan..." Alena took Yohan’s face between her palms and looked at him with a serious gaze; she wanted to stop him from staining his hands from the blood of his own clansmen and the people who are connected to him with blood,she was also scared knowing how father lin and her husband going to react once they learn yohan mercilessly annihilated his own people.

"I am not going to stop..."yohan whispered as he looked Alena,his eyes were cold and burning with extreme resolve to kill.

​"What in the world happened inside the matriarch’s hall?" she asked, wondering what had made him so agitated,Yohan turned silent but then he finally revealed.

​"The six high elders are in cahoots with the allied branch leaders...the seven houses that are supposed to serve the Lin clan are planning a rebellion,that’s the reason they rejected the official summon declaring their long suppressed ambitions!" Yohan exclaimed. Alena’s facial expressions changed when she heard Yohan. Jasmine was not surprised when she heard Yohan after all it’s been almost two years since she arrived here,she somewhat have idea sooner or later things are going to come to this, afterall yohan is completely opposite from his father and grandfather.

Jasmine understands one thing very clearly: When people in power can’t control or suppress you they simply try to eliminate you using any means,that’s the human nature for you,sooner or later this bound to happen when those in power simply join hands and will try to take down yohan.

​"Apart from the rebellion..." Yohan took a pause as he looked at Alena, who was shocked to hear the revelation of the high elders being in cahoots with those houses whom the Lin clan had been sheltering for generations. Most of the leaders of those branch families were descendants of the Lin clan, sharing a blood relation with Yohan.

​"What else?" Alena asked, seeing the hesitant look on Yohan’s face.

​"Those people might be behind the sudden disappearance of Father..." Yohan whispered. Alena’s eyes widened with shock; she couldn’t believe her ears. She knew things were bad inside the clan, but not even in her wildest dreams was she expecting to hear this.

​"You don’t have to worry about anything, I promise if those bastards have anything to do with Father’s disappearance..." Yohan held Alena’s hand in his.

​"I understand... do what you need to do, I am not going to stop you, if they had anything to do with Su Lin’s disappearance...!" Alena whispered. After getting Alena’s response, Yohan tilted his head and looked at Jasmine, who was standing there.

​"I’ll stay by Mother’s side!" Jasmine responded.

​Yohan nodded his head, and then, the next moment, he disappeared from Alena’s room.

​Meanwhile, at the same time, a handsome man could be seen waiting for someone while four figures stood behind him trembling with fear. Among them, three were old and one was in his middle age; the young man who was looking after these people was Lucine.

​Earlier, Yohan had called him outside the matriarch’s manor and told him to keep an eye on these men while he went to meet his mother, Lady Alena.

​Lucine didn’t know the full picture, but judging by Yohan’s expressions, he could understand that Yohan was not in a good mood. The people whom he was looking after were looking miserable; all of them were trembling in fear as if they had gone through some horrible stuff. Lucine inwardly wondered what in the world had happened to these people that made them so scared. Lucine was in the midst of thinking when Yohan appeared.

​"Young Master Yohan..." Lucine whispered upon seeing Yohan. The four figures gasped, and their bodies became stiff as they remembered the things that had happened inside the matriarch’s hall.

​"Lucine, this night is going to be pretty long!" Yohan casually stated, taking Lucine by surprise. Yohan intended to kill every single soul.

​The four elders nervously swallowed upon hearing Yohan. At this very moment, three womanly figures appeared, taking Lucine and those old men by surprise. Yohan remained unfazed upon seeing Athena, Aana, and Kana, three Heavenly Soul Realm cultivators.

​Yohan had already explained the situation to them using his spiritual senses. Lucine’s body trembled, feeling a frightening aura coming from these ladies; he was aware that these beauties were Young Master Yohan’s partners.

​"Let’s wrap it up fast... once we deal with those old bastards of the clan, we are leaving the clan for a while," Yohan exclaimed, looking into the sky where the three figures were standing.

​Lucine was surprised to hear Yohan’s words, and by the look on his face, he knew the night was indeed going to be very long and bloody.

​Athena descended to the ground; Aana and Kana followed her from behind. Their gazes landed on the four scared men who were trembling in fear.

​"Why are you bringing them along? It’s better if you get rid of them!" Athena gave a look to Yohan. The moment those words escaped from her mouth, the four elders’ souls nearly left their bodies; all of them felt the familiar feeling that they had felt inside the matriarch’s hall.

​Yohan simply scratched the back of his head upon hearing Athena. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

​"Well, to be honest with you, I don’t know the directions and the faces of those high elders; treat them as our guides," Yohan responded, taking Athena, Aana, and Kana by surprise. Even Lucine and the four elders were dumbfounded by his words.

​The three beauties simply sighed in a defeated manner upon hearing Yohan’s absurd reasoning, but nevertheless, the three of them agreed to comply with Yohan’s plans.

​One after another, the three of them left the place with one old man who was acting as their guide to their respective factions. Yohan had already told them to kill anyone who dared to get in their path, but he asked them not to kill those high elders; they had to capture them and bring them back here to this very building.

​Once three of his partners left, dragging three frail looking old men to their respective factions, Yohan and lucine was left with a middle-aged man who was looking horrified by his current situation,his companions were left with three ladies and he remained alone standing before Yohan,he inwardly cursed his fate for getting entangled with this twisted young master who is ready to kill his own people.
