Dungeon of Niflheim
Chapter 932: A frightening game (2)
"....What do you mean by else?" Frost stuttered for a second when he heard the third question, his mind instantly conjuring the memory of when Avira stole a kiss from his unguarded lips.
"Oh I think you know exactly what I mean Frost and the fact that your so cagey about answering it leads me to believe that we won’t like the what you have to say" Daki’s smile was 100% evil as she shared a glance with Maya who in response started the tightening process without the slightest bit of mercy. She was enjoying her power trip a little too much, a part of her actually looking forward to Frost giving unsatisfactory answers.
"Ow! Stop seriously stop, this isn’t funny anymore." Frost squirmed against the sofa, chills running down his spine as he tried to remove his left hand from the confines of Daki’s chest so as to pry Maya away from his junk, an attempt that failed miserably. The pressure applied from those seductive mounds of hers being no less than what was being applied by Maya’s dainty hands, Frost was well and truly trapped in place.
"Answer the question honestly or pay the price." Maya uttered with an eery callousness, hard to believe that same tongue could lavish him with such tender love.
Fearing that look in her eyes Frost stopped hesitating "....Ok there was something, but it was done to me rather than the other way around so it’s not my fault." He couldn’t be held liable for the actions Avira took, if anything he was a victim.
"So you’re a victim, a victim of what exactly?"
"A kiss."
"A kiss?"
"Yeah when I was leaving Icethorne she attacked me when my guard was down."
"She attacked you?"
"...Yes, technically speaking." His current expression was a mixture of guilty and innocent making it hard for Maya and Daki to judge the veracity of his words. It didn’t sound like he was lying but it was hard for them to believe he could be ’attacked’ by little old Avira.
"So she kissed you."
"Yes, on the lips."
"On the lips and you were powerless to stop her?"
"I didn’t know it was coming otherwise I would have." That was the truth, he saw Avira as a friend not a romantic interest so if he had the chance he would have stopped her....but that doesn’t mean he didn’t enjoy it a little.
"Was that it? Did you kiss her back or do anything else with her?"
"No ma’am I is loyal." Frost placed his one free hand across his heart as though giving a solemn vow, genuinely believing in his own words in that exact moment.
The two women shared another look to gauge the depths of his confessed crime, their verdict.
"No punishment, no reward." His actions weren’t grave enough to warrant an infliction of pain nor were they good enough to bless him with pleasure. He could keep his hand sandwiched between Daki’s breasts but there would be no kiss and no sweet words whispered into his ear.
"Phew." Frost felt like he dodged a bullet, wiping the accumulated sweat from his brow and thanking the heavens that his interaction with Avira went no further.
’Damn Princess I’ll need to have her pay for this sometime in the future.’ Another grudge added to his book to be repaid at a later date.
"Final question."
"A...another one." His guts twisted into tight uncomfortable knots as a bad feeling loomed over him.
"Last one honey then we can have some real fun~" The promise of ’real fun’ perked the young Dungeon core up, giving him the mettle to stomach one last round of this terrifying game.
"Ask away my love." As long as he passed this final hurdle he’d get to bask in the glory that he so desperately craved. His blood once again started boiling, the look in his gaze becoming bestial and the weapon that was tightly encased by Maya’s soft hand swelled, pushing apart her narrow fingers. What was once soft and pliable was quickly becoming rock hard.
"Gulp." Maya couldn’t help but audibly gulp as the thing expanded to an intimidating size, heralding the dangerous battle that awaited her after this game was done. She blushed and instinctively fondled the beast, her body eagerly anticipating that said battle.
Her reactions didn’t escape Frost’s well trained eye; a proud smirk donned his lips as he felt the balance of power shift back towards him. His demeanour switched back to the one he had before he sat down, confident and filled with authority....at least it did for a couple seconds before Daki opened her mouth.
"Did anything else happen with anyone other than Avira?"
Boom!
The bomb dropped and Frost’s boiling blood instantly froze, his expression became wooden, his lips and brow twitching uncontrollably as a terrifying chill ran up and down his spine, fear filling every inch of his body.
"..."
"....." Maya and Daki were speechless, stunned in the face of such an obvious reaction.
"...Frost?" Maya spoke up first her voice shaking slightly as her surprise gradually turned to anger.
"If we’re going to discuss this now you need to remove your hands." The arrow had been fired, no way to undo what had been done so Frost moved to protect himself from the onslaught.
"Why would she do that Frost you’re obviously in need of punish...."
"Tchtchtch Daki shush, no more games Maya remove your hands." Frost wagged his finger in front of Daki, shushing her before locking eyes with Maya the one who was holding the knife to his manhood."
"WHY?" Maya asked, her voice several octaves higher than normal as a thick bloodlust rose up behind her.
"Because what I’m about to say might cause you to do something you may regret."
"So you did do something!"
"DAKI!!"
"Maya that’s a confession give him the business!"
"NO!!! Don’t you dare Maya!" Frost practically screamed, feeling the highest level of fear he’d ever experienced in his short 18 months of life.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t" Maya thought of herself as a mature woman, the old her might’ve flip out immediately but the new Maya would at least give her man a chance before killing him outright.
"....Because you’d miss it even more than I would."
"....."
"....."
"....." The three stared at one another in silence as they processed what had just been thrown into the ether.
"...He’s got us there Maya."
"Seriously Daki you’re agreeing with him."
"Well he’s not wrong. We do love that cock of his."
"....Start talking, I’ll decide whether you get to keep it after you’re done." Maya couldn’t refute her words as they were the gospel truth. A blissful love life bereft of that beautiful tool was unimaginable to her so he had earned a chance to explain. The hands that were tightly clamped around his log of flesh and his tender plums were pulled back, releasing them from their painful and frightening confinement.
Frost let out a repressed breath, his hands shaking as he moved to feel them for signs of damage or rather to make certain they were still attached and unsquished. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"Ok, it happened in Niflheim." He thus began explaining everything that happened in the realm of Niflheim, how his first interaction with the Primordial Ice King resulted in an impromptu engagement to one his daughters and everything that happened with Khione following that. He spoke from the heart leaving not a single thing out, how their interacted, how much they had in common, how much he was attracted to her and finally how he had decided to pursue a serious relationship with her, a relationship that was no less important than the one he had with Maya and Daki.
"So not only have you went and confessed to another woman without our blessing you’re officially engaged to her."
"Correct on both accounts." By this point Frost felt quite guilty, the actions he took in Niflheim could be perceived as an emotional affair, something no less damaging than a physical one, perhaps even more so.
"....You love her?" Daki whispered, feeling a twisting pain in her heart. A physical bond was one thing, people especially those with an insatiable appetite like Frost had needs and given her own history she could probably forgive him for such a transgression given time, but an emotional connection was something that was on a much deeper level. He was telling them that he’d met someone who resonated with his heart as much as her and Maya, an equal rather than a quick meaningless fling.
"I do." His answer cut sharper than any knife causing both Maya and Daki’s eyes to redden as tears threatened to fall.
Frost’s heart cracked at such a sight, his guilt exploding to a level where his entire body felt as those it was being crushed but he needed to finish what had been started.
"I’ve come across many beautiful and charming women during my short tenure on Nova but only three have ever ignited a spark within me. Maya you’ve been with me since the beginning, my teacher, my protector, my friend and now my lover. I can’t imagine my life without you." He took hold of their hands, locking their fingers together as he spoke.
"But it was only after meeting Daki that I worked up the courage to confess my feelings, and we were able to progress our relationship into what it is now. A spark was ignited as I spent time with you and then another one appeared the day I met you Daki, my passionate green enchantress. The exact same thing happened with Khione, before I knew it my mind was consumed with her, my heart demanding that I make her mine." It didn’t absolve him of his actions, but it did lend merit to his reasoning. What he did wasn’t something out of the blue but a repeat of a precedent he’d already set with his first foray into love.
