"Campione, you are too arrogant."
Amaterasuâs voice carried a divine weight, her presence warping space itself. Though madness flickered in her eyes, a glimmer of reason remained. The eerie tattoos coiling around her body twisted like serpents, exuding an unsettling aura.
Blake smirked, his crystal-blue eyes flashing with cold amusement. "Oh? So youâre still somewhat sane. Izanagi, Izanami, Tsukuyomi... you all retain fragments of your former selves. Youâre not like those lesser creatures, but letâs not pretend youâre in great shape either."
His words dripped with confidence, each syllable cutting through the tense air like a blade.
"It was an improper summoning," he continued, his tone calm. "Losing some of your reason was inevitable. But it doesnât matter. Killing you will suffice."
A dangerous gleam flashed through Amaterasuâs dark red pupils. "You talk as if youâve already won."
Blake tilted his head slightly, then, with deliberate ease, asked, "By the way, Amaterasu... are you female?"
Silence.
Tsukuyomi and the lesser gods shot her sideward glances, their expressions caught between amusement and disbelief. Even Amaterasu froze for a split second before her lips curled into a snarl.
"Campione, you insolent worm."
A surge of power exploded around her. Black flames erupted from her form, twisting and writhing, distorting the very fabric of space. The markings on her body pulsed with an ominous glow.
"You will not interfere," she snapped at the surrounding gods. "I will handle this myself."
Her pride as a god burned just as fiercely as the black inferno around her. Even in the midst of this chaotic battle, the Heretic Gods remained arrogantâchoosing one-on-one duels rather than overwhelming their opponent with numbers. It was a mistake they had made before, and it would be their undoing again.
Blake exhaled, shaking his head. "Gods and their pride. Thatâs why they fall to humans thousands of times weaker than them."
With that, he lifted his Holy Spear, golden energy crackling along its length. The Ascolon in his right hand vanished in a flash of light.
A wicked smile crossed Amaterasuâs lips. With a flick of her fingers, massive orbs of black fire materialized above her, each pulsating with destructive power.
BOOM! WHOOSH!
The flaming spheres detonated, unleashing a barrage of black meteors.
Blake didnât flinch. Instead, he activated his General Treasure, vanishing from sight and reappearing beside Amaterasu in an instant. His Holy Spear shimmered like a golden comet, streaking toward her throat.
DING!
A blade forged from pure energy and black flames clashed against his spear, stopping his strike cold. Amaterasu grinned darkly.
"You think the same trick you used will work on me?" she sneered. "Pathetic."
Black flames surged from her weapon, racing up the shaft of Blakeâs spear, threatening to consume him whole.
But before the flames could take holdâ
WHOOOSH!
A strange wind kicked up, swirling with droplets of water that extinguished the encroaching fire. The winds and flames merged into a chaotic storm, trapping the two combatants within its swirling eye.
Amaterasuâs eyes narrowed. She opened her mouth, and a fiery serpent shot toward Blake with deadly precision.
She was certainâthis time, he couldnât escape.
Then, something unexpected happened.
A red short sword materialized in Blakeâs right hand. The moment it struck, the blade absorbed it entirely, swallowing the attack whole.
Amaterasuâs smirk faltered.
And thenâ
The Holy Spear in Blakeâs left hand erupted with golden light.
"Female Jewel."
Amaterasuâs face twisted in horror. Her power plummeted instantly.
In the next moment, Blake projected another short sword, one that shimmered with an unnatural glowâ
SHUNK!
The blade pierced straight through Amaterasuâs torso.
"GAHâ!"
A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she staggered. The pain was unbearable, her very essence unraveling.
She had one last moveâmutual destruction.
Her flames roared to life again, threatening to consume both of them in an apocalyptic inferno.
PFFT!
Before she could unleash her final attack, sword energy rained down like a divine execution. The invisible blades pierced through her skull, throat, and heart in a flash.
Blake pulled back, allowing the chaotic storm to swallow Amaterasu whole.
BOOM!
A massive explosion engulfed the sky, black flames cascading like waves of destruction.
Tsukuyomi and the other gods tensed as the inferno raged, their expressions grim.
And yet, Blake stood untouched, his aura calm, his golden Holy Spear glinting ominously.
---
"Amaterasu is dead...!"
The realization hit the gods like a thunderclap.
Tsukuyomi and the others could only watch in disbelief. Their mighty chief Godâone of their strongestâhad fallen so quickly.
Blake didnât spare them a glance. A golden flash illuminated his hand as he once again gripped Excalibur.
Amaterasu had miscalculated. She had believed she understood Blakeâs abilities, forcing out his trump cardsâbut she had only seen a fraction of his true strength.
Her downfall was inevitable.
Above them, the burning sky bore witness to the aftermath of their clash. The battle had drawn the attention of the world.
Through satellites and surveillance networks, the global elite, leaders, and powerful organizations watched in stunned silence.
The Seventh King had emergedâaloneâagainst an army of gods and demons.
Panic spread.
"What is happening?!"
"Why are so many Heretic Gods appearing?!"
"Seventh King... you must win!"
Prayers echoed across nations. But the other Campione remained silent.
Some were too injured to fight. Others had vanished entirely. And someâperhapsâsimply did not wish to face the monstrosity unfolding before them.
The world could only watch.
---
Blake, however, remained indifferent.
WHOOSH!
He shot higher into the sky, power erupting from him like a tidal wave. With a single slash, countless sword qi tore through the heavens, converging into a devastating storm aimed at the gods below.
"ShĹtĹ-no-Tama," Tsukuyomi muttered, his crimson eyes narrowing.
A monstrous figure stepped forwardâsix meters tall, with a muscular, blood-red body, five horns jutting from his head, and fifteen sinister eyes. His lips curled, revealing razor-sharp fangs.
ROOOOAR!
The beast opened his mouth, sucking in Blakeâs sword qi like a black hole.
Blakeâs eyes darkened. In an instant, he was in front of the creature, Excalibur flashingâ
SHINK!
A single precise strike pierced its heart, before a horizontal slash tore the beast in two.
It never stood a chance.
"Campione, donât get cocky!"
Tsukuyomiâs crimson pupils glowed ominously.
In a blink, the world around Blake shiftedâcorpses, blood, a twisted illusion.
But illusions were useless against a Campione.
The moment he regained control, a terrifying barrage of attacks descended upon him.
He had seen enough.
Blake raised his right hand.
A red gauntlet formed around it, a green gemstone gleaming brightly.
The air trembled. The skies darkened.
A voice roared from within the gemâ
"WELSH DRAGON OVERBOOSTER!!!"
