E-class is the Weakest? My Clones are All God-level!
Chapter 4: I Just Turned Eighteen
The next day, as dawn broke, Zhou Huai was already controlling his Yasuo Clone, setting off for the Trial Tower located in the eastern part of Tianhai City.
Still several miles away, a colossal, pitch-black tower piercing the clouds came into view.
Ancient and complex runes were carved into the tower’s body, shimmering with a dark luster in the morning light, emanating an indescribable sense of oppression.
This was the iconic landmark of Tianhai City, the starting point for countless new Profession-holders to take their first step—the Trial Tower.
At this moment, the enormous plaza outside the Trial Tower was already bustling with people, a dense crowd as far as the eye could see.
Students from various universities, having just completed their job transfers, gathered in groups of three or five, their clamor reaching the sky.
Roughly estimated, there were at least a thousand people.
The official opening time for the Trial Tower was eight o’clock in the morning.
There was still over half an hour until it opened.
In the plaza, shouts rose and fell incessantly, mostly calls for recruiting teammates.
“Strong Warrior leading a team, looking for high damage output! Goal is at least five floors, pushing for higher!”
“A-Class Support Priest looking for a group! Ample healing, excellent awareness! Any stable team pushing for higher floors, take me in!”
Zhou Huai controlled Yasuo, walking unhurriedly towards the entrance of the Trial Tower.
His unique attire and demeanor immediately attracted many gazes.
On one hand, there was his unruly black long hair, tied back and gently swaying in the wind, which stood out among the generally short-haired or meticulously styled students.
On the other hand, there was Yasuo’s chiseled, handsome face, with a hint of heroic spirit.
His deep eyes seemed to hide stars, and the perfectly placed stubble on his chin.
Along with the subtle sense of vicissitude and sharpness that emanated from him.
Made him stand out like a crane among chickens in this group of somewhat green /N_o_v_e_l_i_g_h_t/ students.
Several girls couldn't help but huddle together, whispering in low voices.
“Wow, look at that person, he’s so handsome! He’s exactly my type!”
“Yeah, yeah, he’s quite handsome, it’s just... he looks a bit older? With that face, he must be at least thirty, right?”
“What do you know? This kind of mature, steady man with a sense of history is the most charming, okay!”
“Shh, keep your voice down, don’t let anyone hear. I think he’s probably a parent of a classmate, bringing their child to participate in the trial.”
Zhou Huai paid no attention to the discussions around him, merely calmly observing the passing crowd, silently waiting for the Trial Tower to open.
Just then, a sleek black luxury car silently glided to the roadside and stopped.
The car door opened, and a graceful and beautiful figure stepped out.
Ye Xi.
Today, she was still wearing a light green long dress.
Which made her skin appear even fairer and more delicate.
Her dark hair was simply draped over her shoulders, and her exquisite features looked even more beautiful and moving in the morning light.
As soon as she got out of the car, she walked with elegant steps towards the entrance of the Trial Tower.
“Look quickly! Isn’t that the Young Miss of the Ye Family, Ye Xi!”
“Oh my god, the Immortal Master is even more beautiful than rumored! She truly lives up to her reputation as the school beauty of our Tianhai No. 2 High School!”
“More than just the school beauty! It’s said that she even awakened an A-Class Profession, Holy Light Chanter! Good Family background, high talent, and so beautiful, her life is practically on cheat mode, I’m so envious and jealous!”
With Ye Xi’s appearance, the originally noisy crowd unconsciously quieted down a bit.
An invisible path slowly opened before her. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Even those girls who prided themselves on their looks couldn't help but feel a hint of inferiority in Ye Xi’s radiant presence.
However, just then, a figure suddenly squeezed out from the crowd and directly blocked Ye Xi’s path.
Ye Xi looked up, her delicate brows furrowing in displeasure, a flash of undisguised disgust quickly appearing in her eyes.
“Lu Qi, what do you want to do?”
Lu Qi wore what he thought was a handsome smile, but his eyes brazenly roamed over Ye Xi’s graceful curves.
“Ye Xi, you’re really beautiful today, even more captivating than usual.”
“Is there something you need?” Ye Xi coldly snorted, “If not, move aside, don’t block the way.”
“Yes, of course there’s something.” Lu Qi took a step forward, lowering his voice, “I heard you transferred to an A-Class Holy Light Chanter, and I’m also an A-Class Blazing Mage. How about we team up? With our strength, getting first place would be easy.”
Ye Xi rolled her eyes at him, her tone icy: “No interest, I won’t team up with you.”
After speaking, she tried to move past Lu Qi.
But Lu Qi grabbed her arm.
“Are you still thinking about that good-for-nothing Zhou Huai?” His eyes were gloomy, “What’s so good about him? Is he worth you caring so much?”
“Look at me, I’m a thousand times, a hundred times stronger than him!”
Ye Xi’s face completely darkened: “Let go of me!”
Lu Qi smiled provocatively: “I won’t let go, what can you do?”
Among the surrounding onlookers, many boys were already seething with indignation, their fists clenched, wishing they could rush forward and beat Lu Qi’s disgusting face into a pig’s head.
But in the end, no one dared to act rashly.
After all, Lu Qi had the Zhou Family behind him, and Ye Xi was from the Ye Family.
Such disputes between scions of major Families were far beyond what ordinary students like them could interfere with.
Just then, a figure silently walked behind Lu Qi.
Before anyone could react, there was a muffled thud.
A clean and powerful side kick landed squarely on Lu Qi’s abdomen.
“Ouch—!”
Lu Qi let out a piercing scream, his hand gripping Ye Xi’s suddenly loosened.
His entire body arched like a cooked shrimp, and he writhed in pain on the ground.
He struggled to look up and saw a cold, weathered, yet strikingly handsome face.
“You... what the hell do you mean?!” Lu Qi gritted his teeth, his voice hoarse with pain.
Zhou Huai controlled Yasuo, looking down at him from above.
His tone was flat, without a ripple.
“You’re blocking the way.”
Those simple four words, however, carried an undeniable dominance.
Lu Qi endured the intense pain in his abdomen, struggling to get up from the ground.
His eyes were bloodshot, his face ferocious, as he glared fiercely at Yasuo:
“You dared to kick me?! You actually dared to kick me?!”
“Do you know who the hell I am?!”
Yasuo’s expression remained unchanged, his gaze as calm as a deep pool.
“I don’t care who you are.”
This sentence was like adding fuel to the fire, completely igniting Lu Qi’s rage!
The next second, surging crimson flames suddenly erupted from his palms, and a wave of scorching Qi spread outwards!
“I’ll slaughter you, you dog!”
However, as soon as his harsh words left his mouth, Yasuo’s figure had already moved first!
As an S-Class Profession-holder, Yasuo’s agility attribute far surpassed ordinary people.
His movements were even more graceful and swift, giving Lu Qi no chance to cast any skills!
His figure flickered, like a gust of wind, instantly closing in!
Another powerful whip kick, precise and heavy, struck Lu Qi’s chest!
“Pfft!”
Lu Qi screamed again, kicked several meters backward, and fell awkwardly to the ground.
Before he could catch his breath, a large foot was already on his chest.
A cold glint flashed.
Yasuo’s black iron longsword was unsheathed, its tip resting on Lu Qi’s neck.
The chilling Killing Intent made Lu Qi’s hairs stand on end.
“Say one more word, and believe it or not, I’ll slaughter you?”
Lu Qi looked at the blade so close to him, his pupils constricted, and a mouthful of bloody foam welled up. Fear instantly seized him.
Who was this person?
How dare he treat him like this?!
In the crowd, countless students had already been completely awestruck by Yasuo’s fluid and utterly dominant series of actions.
“Holy crap! This uncle is too fierce!”
“He’s so cool! Mom, I think I’m in love again!”
Ye Xi also covered her small mouth, her eyes wide with shock. She had never expected anyone to suddenly step in and teach Lu Qi a lesson.
Just then, a hurried shout came from afar.
“Stop!”
A teacher in uniform quickly approached, his face stern.
“Private duels are forbidden outside the Trial Tower! Violators will be disqualified!” He looked at Yasuo, “This parent, no matter what conflict you have, put that sword away immediately! Otherwise, don’t blame us for being impolite!”
Seeing the official personnel of the Trial Tower intervene, Zhou Huai naturally wouldn’t escalate the matter further.
He slowly withdrew his longsword and moved his foot from Lu Qi’s chest.
Then, in his slightly hoarse, deep and low voice, he calmly said:
“Teacher, allow me to correct you.”
“I am not a parent.”
Yasuo paused, his deep gaze sweeping over everyone, then he enunciated each word:
“I just turned eighteen this year.”
