Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 384: Phantom Meets Aselia
As soon as Treia sent him Aselia’s location, Phantom laughed like a man possessed. He finally had the opportunity to make his son beg and bring him to his knees.
He called Xifin and told him to make the necessary arrangements as he set out in the middle of the night to obtain what he had longed for.
He arrived in Lahoire at dawn on his private jet and exited it in his black car with tinted windows and set out for the hotel Treia had been staying at. Reaching there he stayed in his car.
Treia confidently walked out and entered the car, sitting smugly beside him.
"I found her! And once you are done, I want a piece of her," Treia licked her lower lip, ready for some elven blood.
"You will have what you have been promised, don’t worry. Lead the way," his deep voice was calm and yet his eyes danced with the excitement of possessing the elven girl.
"Sure," she handed the tablet with the added location Jihlia had given her and handed it to the driver.
"My men are coming, they will be here soon. We will have the area surrounded. Does she live alone?" Phantom inquired, his hand drumming away on his knee, a feral hunger descended in his frosty eyes. Phantom had given his identity as a successful businessman, making it relatively easier to travel between continents and land his private jets.
"She lives with her family, her brother and her parents, that’s what Jihlia told me. But they didn’t smell like elves to him so we are not sure."
"I will soon find out," he averted his eyes and began to stare outside. A nagging feeling disrupted him, somehow he could feel this was the girl he had been looking for. The prophecy rang loud and clear in his brain.
Another car joined them soon with Phantom’s special hybrids and tribrids. They were now ready to attack Aselia’s house. They stopped at a distance and Treia pointed to the house as she had been shown the previous night by Jihlia.
Phantom opened the door and his foot landed on the gravel, making a hauntingly crunching sound as he elegantly stepped out and gazed at the cosy-looking house. A triumphant smile graced his lips and darkened his eyes. Taking sturdy steps he reached the door and tried kicking it open. It was strong, they had used a special material on the door.
He used his full force and the door dented and flew open as he entered and filled the place with his sinister aura. His eyes darted around as his men filed in behind him.
They landed on the elven girl, who had her phone attached to her ear and her eyes found his. He was stunned for a second, rooted at his spot as he stared at her. Two words echoed in his brain.
’Princess Elsaine’ his first love. The girl who detested and humiliated him, the girl he killed with his bare hands. She was so familiar in looks to the princess. Not only the eye colour and hair but her facial features were almost identical.
At that moment he knew, this was indeed the girl from the prophecy, a direct descendent of Hildara, who was Elsaine’s aunt. Fate had a cruel way of playing tricks with him and here was another one. The girl who will steal his kin and she had indeed stolen the heart of his son.
A growl escaped the boy standing next to her as she screamed at him. The boy instantly shifted into a golden hound and attacked. His men were ready as he began to tear them apart.
But Phantom was still lost when the girl dropped the phone and moving closer to him yelled with force, her eyes holding confusion and anger: "Who are you?"
"Get out of our house."
As she tried to punch him but he grabbed her fist and jerked her closer to him, jailing her arms. Her intoxicating smell hit him with full force as she kneed him and writhed against his hold. A pain travelled through him at the impact of her knee but he held her close and his hand grabbed her slender neck where a winged tattoo was glistening.
Phantom tried to use his power on her to subdue her as she vehemently fought him with every ounce of power she possessed and he was beyond impressed. Strangely his powers didn’t work on her, no black veins appeared and there was no pain.
’Interesting, Hildara was being a pain in the ass even from beyond the grave. She must have cast a spell so his powers won’t affect her.’ Phantom thought to himself. He needed to subdue her so applied enough pressure to the vital spot in her neck and she stopped fighting and became limp in his arms. Her golden locks were open and there was this innocence on her face. An innocence that reminded him of his wife and he could sense why Xiran was infatuated with he girl.
Phantom scanned the room and found her phone with an ongoing call, he picked it up and saw it was indeed Xiran she was talking to. The evil smile was back on his handsome yet twisted face and he knew his son was going to be pissed especially with what he had planned for his little girlfriend.
Once he was done talking to Xiran, he paid attention to his bloodied surroundings. The golden hound who had been with the girl had fought off most of his men and killed half of them. Their blood and insides littered the place like a scene from a horror movie.
But the golden hound was severely injured, he had so many bruises that Phantom was sure he wouldn’t survive more than a few minutes and Xiran would have alerted the hunters and forces by now and they would be surrounded.
"We are leaving," Phantom announced, picking up Aselia in his arms and exiting the house, leaving it bloodied.
