Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 426: Meeting The Girls
"Alright, and what type of dress do I need to wear?" Aselia curiously inquired.
"I have asked Rivan, and he will send over some clothes. Choose whatever you like from them."
"But I already have so many clothes. Did you have to bother Rivan," she questioned leaning on his chest.
"It’s not a bother and I want you to have new clothes," Xiran intertwined his left hand with hers and Aselia traced her index finger on the bulging vein in his hand which travelled to his arm.
"Don’t hunters get married? Why have you never attended such a party before?" He asked, watching her finger grazing along his bluish vein. He revealed in the feeling her touch provided.
"Most of us don’t make it to that age," she answered with a hint of sadness in her voice, remembering Marhia.
"I am sorry," he affectionately placed a kiss on her head.
"It’s ok. What’s the time for tomorrow?"
"Around 7 at night, Frila will help you get ready and take you to their house. The guys are having a party at the hotel. I will head there from work," he answered and Aselia nodded in understanding.
"Let’s head to bed. I have a busy day tomorrow," both of them got up and after clearing the table and putting away the dishes they headed to Xiran’s room.
---------------
The next day, Xiran was gone before she could wake up. There were extra guards outside their house but Xiran had asked them to remain discreet so Aselia wouldn’t freak out finding out he was being paranoid.
When Aselia finally woke, she vaguely remembered him kissing her goodbye. The bed was cold and so was she. Letting out a heavy sigh she got out of bed and freshened up before heading out to the kitchen.
As usual, Xiran had prepared breakfast for her and left it on the table with a note:
{Eat up, I made sandwiches. Have fun today, I will pick you up at night after the party. Love you.}
A radiant smile perched on her lips as she read his elegantly handwritten note again and again. Why was everything about him so perfect? Her handwriting seemed like some worms had wriggled in ink and had been let loose on the paper in comparison to his.
She folded it neatly and placed it in her wallet, before going about her daily routine. She cleaned his room, not that it needed much cleaning for he hardly made any mess and did laundry.
His clothes carried that masculine scent which was peculiar only to him. Holding his shirt close she inhaled deeply before putting it in the washer.
Her entire day was spent doing small tasks around the house and she enjoyed it. As the evening fell there was a knock on her main door and opening it she found Frila standing there with boxes in her arms and a radiant smile on her face.
"Frila! Come in, come in," Aselia was excited to see her friend, both of them hugged and went inside.
"How are you doing Aselia? I hope you are not bored?" Frila inquired settling down while Aselia fetched her a bottle of blood from the fridge. She warmed it to room temperature in the microwave.
"Not at all. I am enjoying myself. I never had a place of my own before and the feelings this has invoked make me content," she handed the bottle to Frila who smiled warmly at her.
"I can’t tell you how happy I am to see you with Señor again. Please, don’t leave him. He narrowly survived what happened the last time. Sometimes he wouldn’t leave his room for days. Señor Rivan and others had to coax him out," Frila confided in her and Aselia’s heart sank yet again.
"I know but it wasn’t in my hands. He made that choice for me," Aselia glumly added.
"But that’s all in the past now and we have entered happy times and today we are going to party hard. I have brought dresses and other accessories. So let’s get ready," Frila’s eyes twinkled and Aselia warmly smiled back at her.
Both girls took their time to get ready. Aselia chose an organza plum dress with beads and applique and a matching pair of sandals. Frila curled her beautiful hair and decorated them with white and plum-coloured beads. She also applied light nude shade makeup to complete her look.
Aselia didn’t want any accessories and wanted to keep wearing her pendant, so Frila didn’t push her to wear any. It was almost time so both of them headed for Zirius’s house. Parking the car they exited it and rang the doorbell.
Arimie opened the door for them, the girl was strikingly beautiful and her baby pink dress highlighted her sharp features even more.
"Aselia?" Arimie exclaimed with her eyes widening, unable to believe she was finally seeing the legendary hunter she had heard so much about. The girl who killed The Phantom.
"Hi! Yes," Aselia awkwardly extended her hand but Arimie rushed forward and tightly hugged Aselia.
"I am so glad to finally meet you," she squealed in excitement and Aselia nervously hugged her back. She finally let her go and grabbed her hand before dragging her inside, a giggling Frila followed.
Three more girls were already occupying the living room loungers where the party was set up. Aselia instantly recognized Irlana in a peach dress who quickly got up and hugged her. Aselia radiantly smiled and returned it.
"Aselia! Happy you could come. Let me make introductions," Arimie and Frila settled down while Irlana introduced the other two girls.
The girl sitting on the left side had cobalt blue eyes and light brown slightly curly hair, she reminded Aselia of someone but she couldn’t remember who.
She graciously smiled at Aselia and got up to shake hands with her while Irlana said:
"This is Rubisha. Rivan and Rumail’s younger sister," Aselia was astonished at that. She didn’t know they had a sister.
"I am Aselia. It’s good to meet you," Aselia warmly shook her hand.
"Believe me we all know you," she added with a chuckle and everyone laughed, "still happy to finally meet you. Silver told me a lot about you," she added with a wink and Aselia gasped in shock.
