Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 439: Up In The Tree
Aselia. One of them sat on her hand and glimmered like a twinkling light.
"Leia! They could be poisonous or might sting you," Xiran’s breath was stuck in his throat, he was apprehensive seeing the glorious creatures that surrounded her.
"They would have stung me by now if they wanted. I think they are harmless," Aselia gently stroked its wings as it kept sitting on Aselia’s hands and Xiran leaned closer watching them and carefully extended his hand. One of them swiftly landed on his and glowed a silvery hue. He was mesmerised.
Both of them were lost in the beauty of these marvellous creatures until a cold gust of wind blew and swept them away. This saddened Aselia, watching them fly away and she pouted.
But her pout was soon replaced as she shuddered, her teeth chattered as cold seeped deep into her skin. She wrapped her arms around herself, the goosebumps rose all over her body.
"Here," Xiran helped her wear the sweater-like shirt, seeing how cold she was. He put the other one on himself and she snuggled close to him, seeking his heat. Xiran rubbed her arms and held her cold hands, trying to warm her up.
"What did you find? And how did you get these warm clothes? We even left our cellphones and money behind," She said, enjoying his touch.
"Yeah, we are almost broke here but somehow we have arrived in Tromalius. People here were calling me Silver Blood, not sure what that meant to them but they stared at me with respect and didn’t even charge me for these sweaters. The man who sold me this offered me his place to stay without charge," Xiran explained, still trying to wrap his head around everything that had transpired. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"We were destined to be here. I think this place was calling us and drew us here and I love it so far. It’s so soothing to the senses. Can we stay in these trees for a little while longer? Just you and me? And these beautiful creatures," Aselia extended her hand feeling the wind that ruffled her hair. The unique smell this place carried overloaded their senses and filled them with calmness. It was a beautiful feeling, away from all the chaos and bloodshed they were used to.
"Let’s do that. Just us, away from the mayhem," Xiran buried his nose in the soft flesh of her neck, his lips caressing the skin. His arms tightened their hold on her waist.
"Drink from me," she breathed out softly, the tender brush of his lips cocooned her in the warmth of his love. An intricate tapestry of their emotions was woven amid this ethereal sanctuary. Their hearts harmoniously danced in the joy that erupted within them.
"No, Leia! I don’t know when we will get something to eat here or if we will find something edible soon. I don’t want to weaken you," he mused against her neck, his hot breath warming her cold skin.
"And I want you at full capacity so drink up. You are not going to find a blood source here that easily. So don’t argue with me on this and deprive yourself. I know it has been more than a year now since you drank my blood. Drink my love."
Xiran’s heart melted a little at the endearment she used for him. And he couldn’t resist his urges and needs anymore. His canines protruded and pierced the blue vein that bulged in her slender neck, right above her tattoo.
A small current-like sensation flowed through her at the slight prick he caused and began sucking her crimson elixir.
A surge of vitality swept through him which seemed to awaken every cell in his body. It was as if every fibre had stirred to life, infusing him with newfound strength and vigour.
He had missed this, the longing for her blood was insatiable and there was nothing which could taste as divine as her red nectar.
She tilted her head to provide him with a maximum excess and Xiran was lost in the allure of her blood, savouring every drop that entered his system. He lifted her flimsy nightie and his hand began to freely roam her thigh, inching closer to her womanly folds which were turning into one big pool of moisture.
A seductive moan was elicited from her throat as his wandering fingers finally made contact with her wet opening.
"Xiran! No, I don’t have spare clothes," she pleaded and as much as he wanted to continue. He knew he had to stop and they needed to find shelter before the night fell.
Unwantedly he withdrew both his hand and his canines, pressing his lips on the spot where two small dots had appeared.
"Thank you," he left a lingering kiss on her neck, before placing his chin near her collarbone. Aselia wrapped his arms around herself and leaned on his chest. The comfort that seeped inside her was heavenly. Xiran rested his back against the tree trunk.
"Leia! Did you ever believe that after two years we would be sitting like this on a different planet when we first met?" He lazily asked as both of them watched the leaves rustle in the wind as a few majestic white birds flew against the backdrop.
"Never dreamt of it even. I thought we would never cross paths when I would be done gathering the information I sought," she giggled thinking about that time. His words made his face break into a coy grin as well.
"Yes, you intrigued me beyond reason. I wanted to know why you were the way you were."
"Now you do and still love me," she exclaimed, intertwining her fingers with his before bringing his hand to her lips and caressing it.
"And will always do," he kissed her head and they remained there for a while before Xiran said glancing up at the cloudy sky:
"We need to find some shelter, it’s getting dark," and Aselia nodded. He collected her in his arms before opening his wings and flying down towards the settlement.
But as they tried to enter it, the invisible barrier which had let Xiran go through without any trouble hindered Aselia’s entrance. Her arms and legs got a burning sensation and reddened, making her squeal in pain and Xiran halted in the air with her in his arms.
"What’s happening?" Xiran could sense a hindrance to his entrance and seeing Aselia’s reddened skin he understood that whatever barrier surrounded the place considered her a foreigner because of her genetic makeup of not being related to the planet. His face held traces of anger seeing her skin like that, thankfully the burns were not severe.
"I don’t think I am allowed to enter, Xiran," she yelped and Xiran flew down and they landed just outside the settlement, wondering what to do next.
"We will look somewhere else to stay, don’t worry," Xiran reassured her, inspecting her arm which seemed to have been slightly burnt. Not knowing that help was on its way
