Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 90: Let me stay with you
Xiran saw Rivan’s text and called him instantly. Aselia had already sat in the car while Rivan was still inside the house. Closing the main door, Rivan picked up the call.
"What? I told you to keep her with you for a few days." Xiran almost shouted at him.
"Xiri! She knows you are back. She heard me talking to you and now she is hell-bent on seeing you. She was so furious last night, I was barely able to hold her here for the night."
"I can’t let her see me like this. She will be horrified Rivan. Besides, my brain is messed up." Xiran’s desperation showed in his voice.
"Xiri! If you will talk to her, I am sure she will listen to you. Just talk to her calmly on the phone and keep her in her room for a few days. Because she won’t stay here, she threatened to leave. Not that she could, but I am sure she will try something stupid." Rivan tried to tell him what was actually going on and also offered a solution.
"Ohh! You won’t be able to handle her now if she is in such a state. Bring her back and I will see to it." Xiran told him and disconnected the call.
Rivan made his way to the car and sat beside Aselia, he ordered the chauffeur to drive. Aselia was glancing outside.
"Thank you, Rivan for taking care of me while he was away." She said without glancing at him. She seemed to be lost in deep thought.
"No problem, it was my pleasure. And I would like to apologize for my behaviour once again." Rivan didn’t want her to feel he was intruding on their life.
"That’s alright." She said turning towards him and offering him a small smile.
They finished the rest of the journey in silence and safely reached the underground parking lot of Fritez City which was only used by Xiran and Rivan.
They got out of the car, and Frila and Carios were already there to pick her up. Carios took Aselia’s suitcase. She thanked Rivan once again before leaving with Frila. Rivan smiled at her, he then sat back in his car and left.
"How are you Aselia?" Frila asked her with a smile.
"I am fine, how is Xiran? Take me to his room." Frila and Carios exchanged looks before Frila spoke:
"Señor is not seeing anyone for now. He has asked that you have to stay in your room for a few days. He will call for you." Frila tried to be as polite as possible so that Aselia won’t flare up.
"Well, too bad because that’s not gonna happen." They had reached the dungeon hall and were heading toward Aselia’s room but she changed the direction and made her way to his room.
"Aselia, you can’t go to Sire’s room." Carlos stood in front of her.
"And what will you do to stop me? Manhandle me? That will not end well." She threatened him.
"Aselia, let’s go to your room and he will call you," Frila informed her about the instructions Xiran had given them.
"I will talk face-to-face with him, I don’t need a damn phone." She walked past Carios who had a grim expression on his face. He knew he couldn’t touch her.
"Aseliaaa... Sire won’t be pleased and we will be punished." Carios made one last plea so that she might change her mind.
"I will take on any punishments he will give you guys. I won’t let him say anything to the two of you. Don’t worry." She then gradually walked towards his black room with the white door. Her heart thudded with anticipation of how she might find him.
She slowly opened the door of his room, she didn’t want to make any sound. It was pitch black inside and she couldn’t see anything at all. There wasn’t even a single sound coming from inside the room. But she knew he was inside, that’s where he was always found when he was in one of his bad moods.
On the other hand, her scent had hit him as soon as she had opened the door and he cursed under his breath. But then he knew no one would be able to hold her, why was he expecting the impossible? She then called him softly: "Xiran..." he didn’t speak hoping she would go back to her room.
He heard the door click shut but her scent began to envelop the whole room as she drew near his bed. He was slumped over it with his face buried in the pillow.
"Xiran, where are you? " She called to him again, this time her voice came from near the bed.
"Ouch!" she hit her toe with some piece of furniture while trying to make her way to him and began to hobble.
"Aselia...I told you to stay in your room." His voice held disappointment.
"You told others to tell me, you never spoke to me. Next time you have a message to convey, talk to me directly." She was standing near him now. Somehow she had groped over to him in darkness.
"Aselia, go to your room. You can’t be here with me right now. I will call for you in a few days." His voice was dismissive and she felt it in her bones. What was wrong with him? What had they done to him? He didn’t sound like himself.
"I am not leaving until you talk to me." She replied in defiance.
"Please...go. I can’t talk right now." He felt her presence near him as she climbed on the bed and slipped into the duvet. How he wished she would take him into her arms.
"Then don’t, but I am staying here with you." He felt her hand over his hair since he had buried his face in the pillow, she couldn’t touch it.
All his resolves dissolved as soon as she touched him and he scooted over to her lap and buried his face in it. She didn’t say anything to him, just let him be the way he yearned for. She only combed his hair with her fingers while he held her waist, tightly. Taking in her scent, his pain automatically reduced.
"You ok?" She asked gently. He only grunted in response.
"Let me see you." She rubbed his back and felt his body become taut.
"NO, that’s why I didn’t want you here." He hid his face deep in her lap.
"Why? Xiran..." her voice was barely a whisper, she felt helpless. Unable to share his pain.
"This is my wish, can you respect it? Like I respect yours. Just this once."
"Yes, I can. But I am not going to leave you alone. Let me be there for you like you were for me." She pleaded with him while placing her head on top of his.
"Ok, but I don’t want you to compromise your health. Make sure you eat on time." He touched her face and she sat back up holding his hand and placing a small kiss on it. He felt small tickles on the skin where she kissed him. It was soothing, so very soothing.
"I will, but you must drink first." He finally lifted his head to look at her. Vampires had better sight in dark and he could see her clearly although she couldn’t see him, only feel him.
She looked tired, worried and sad. All this for him, she cared this much for him and she was here so he wouldn’t be hungry. He wanted to pour his heart out to her, but he kept himself in check. That would only worry her more. Besides, he was famished, not only for her touch but also for her blood.
He knew her blood held more power than any normal blood. He always felt a surging inside of him when he drank from her like he has been revitalized.
"You don’t mind." He pushed himself up so his lips were near her beautiful neck. The pendant he had given her, hung from it.
"I wouldn’t offer you if I did." With that being said she pressed his head against her bare neck and held him there. His parted lips touched her skin and her entirety was lit on fire. His hands moved up to the back of her neck and into her hair. Opening his mouth he barred his canines, digging them deep into her neck, and he drank.
It was like he was drinking a magical elixir, as her blood coursed through his veins, it healed him. The inkiness began to dissipate from his body and some of his veins returned to normal. The pain in his body began to diminish with every second. He tightened his grip on her hair and pulled them, exposing more of her neck to him. His hunger took over all of his other senses. He wanted more of her blood, he wanted all of it.
