The legendary bloodline available was a draconic bloodline? There were only a handful of people who had ever possessed a draconic bloodline. People with this bloodline were normally guild masters, and with their parties, they could clear A-ranked dungeons.

To this day, A-ranked dungeons were the highest-ranked dungeons to ever be cleared. There were only a few instances of S-ranked dungeons because of this, for a while they were considered myths. And to this day, no one had ever managed to clear one.

This draconic bloodline would give me an affinity for earth and fire magic. I would gain the unique class of Magmamancer.

This was the first time I had heard of such a class, but if I had to guess, it probably had something to do with creating or controlling magma. I would have to do some research on this strange class.

This bloodline would also give me three times the stats boost a person gets when they level up. So by the time I got to level 100, I would be stronger than people of that same level. I’d be three times stronger than people of my own level.

Taking all of this into consideration, this draconic bloodline was significantly stronger than the others available to me. But there was still a major problem.

I didn’t have enough biomass. This bloodline cost 8000 biomass, but I only had 3450. Still, this wasn’t an unachievable goal. Most likely, by the time I cleared this dungeon, I’d have enough biomass to purchase this bloodline evolution.

Just then, as I went over the different bloodline evolutions, the ground beneath my feet began to shake. Something big was coming, which caused me to quickly dismiss the screen. I watched the entrance of the tunnel intently before a dungeon rat finally emerged from its darkness.

Except this dungeon rat was much bigger than the others. It was roughly 5 feet tall, as big as an adult black bear. Its claws were long and sharp, almost resembling talons.

Compared to me, who was only 24 inches in size, this beast was a giant. The beast sniffed the room as it entered, and with that action, its milky white eyes stared directly at me before the creature lowered itself and burst into a charge.

The attack was so sudden that if I hadn’t already been on guard, I would’ve been caught by surprise. The giant rat slammed its claws down on the ground, aiming to crush me in a single attack. The ground cracked under the pressure of its mighty claws, and as the dust settled, I was gone, circling my way up the beast’s arm.

With every movement, I sliced through the rat’s thick skin by creating a sharp obsidian blade on the underside of my belly.

The massive dungeon rat squealed in pain as it smashed its arm against the ground in an effort to shake me off, but it was to no avail since my obsidian feet sank deep into its flesh with every movement.

I worked my way up its arm to its back and then circled around the creature’s neck as I created large cuts over its body. In desperation, it smashed its body against the dungeon wall, which caused the whole structure to tremble from the force.

I could no longer sustain the force as my body was catapulted off the beast.

This monster was even more dangerous than I first thought.

While I sliced its body, I kept injecting my venom into the massive creature, but no matter how much I injected, the beast just wouldn’t go down.

In fact, instead of attacking its nervous system, the beast seemed as if it had been hit with adrenaline every time I hit it with my venom.

"ROAR!!" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Is this monster a honey badger? What the hell!

The beast shook its head wildly before charging at me like a monster on steroids. Immediately, I vibrated my wings to create a lift current and moved out of its path just in time. The massive dungeon rat slammed into the wall headfirst, which caused the wall that was already unstable from mining to collapse on top of it.

Is it dead?

My question was answered immediately as the beast burst from the rubble a second later, its claws threatening to rip me from the air.

"ROAR!"

I easily moved to the side to evade the attack before spraying the monster with my acid.

The acid burned through the bear’s fur and skin, causing a large amount of its blood to plop onto the floor. But the creature hardly seemed to notice. It was as if it could no longer feel pain.

What the hell did my venom do to this monster?

Since I was too high in the air for it to reach, the crazed monster then began scaling the wall to get to me. Seeing such a large monster crawling up the wall somehow felt creepy. This wasn’t natural.

After almost reaching the ceiling, the creature dove after me, but with the high maneuverability of these wings, it didn’t take much to evade the monster as it plummeted to the ground, resounding in a loud crash that caused the entire room to tremble once again.

Still, after all that, the beast got up once again as if it was nothing.

I should wrap this up before I actually get hurt by this thing.

Thinking this, I flew toward the creature and began circling around it, starting with its legs. As I moved around the creature, I excreted the sticky goo from my legs and used it to wrap the creature, similar to how a spider wraps up its prey.

"ROAR!"

At first, the dungeon rat was easily able to tear the sticky goo from its body, but as I began adding layer upon layer, it became harder, and its movements were now more constricted.

Even though the monster swatted at me with its large claws, I was still able to evade the attacks and wrap up its legs before making my way to its head.

Soon, the massive creature was completely wrapped up on the ground, unable to move. With the monster now restricted, it was now time for me to claim the rewards from its death.
