"Indeed," Leonard said with a small nod. Then, with surprising speed, Leonard bowed lightly toward Caelus.

"Thank you for taking care of my sister until now," he spoke sincerely. "Behind your back, I have said many bad things about you. Calling you E-Rank trash and whatnot. But I take it all back."

"You have proven yourself completely worthy of my sister."

"In fact, even if you were truly weak, I would not have said anything," Leonard said, standing up straight. "You saved my sister’s life after all."

Caelus stared at Leonard. "What if I had not saved your sister’s life?"

Leonard froze upon hearing this.

"I do not need an answer to that question," Caelus said. "But I like your sister."

He spoke with a completely straight face. Usually, this would be the exact point where a protective older brother threw a punch, but Leonard just stood there, letting Caelus speak.

"I found Sylvia annoying at first. She does not know what personal space is. You might not know this, but I lost my memories. Hence, I do not remember a single thing about saving Sylvia."

"There is only the present me now. The old Caelus is gone."

"But through the time I spent with her, I have come to like her. It is very hard not to like her."

"Of course. She is exactly like that," Leonard let out a small laugh. "I believe she got that cheerful and playful attitude from you. The old you. That is certainly not a bad thing. In a way, it has also influenced me to make the right decisions."

"I do not mind it," Leonard said softly. "I do not mind handing Sylvia over to you. But dating her, or even marrying her... you will have to face the massive consequences."

"You will have to go through our father," Leonard spoke in a dead serious tone. "Even to this day, I try my absolute best to give my little sister the freedom to walk in this world. I worked extremely hard to earn her that freedom."

"Seeing her happy makes me happy," Leonard continued. "While we might have our differences, I still try my best for her. I suffered a fate far worse than hers, and I want better for her."

"Our father does not have an ounce of heart. He is a person who would slaughter his own offspring for the sake of reaching his twisted goals. The only thing stopping him from initiating his final plans was the Vampire Ancestor. With the Ancestor gone, our father took full control over the Vampire Faction. But now that the Ancestor is rumored to be returning, he is becoming incredibly restless."

"He is a Crown-Rank, Caelus. The absolute only way for Sylvia to truly become free is by eliminating him," Leonard said with a cold, straight face. "And I am saying this as his own biological son."

Caelus’s eyes widened upon hearing this.

Kill his own offspring? How black must a person’s heart be to do such a thing?

"I need to go now," Leonard spoke, checking his watch. "There are urgent matters I need to tend to in the Central Plains. Things are getting pretty severe over there. The Null Players are even more prominent there, and so is the rampant spread of Hollowification."

"I was initially thinking about helping you out with the royals of this kingdom, but it clearly seems like you do not need my help," Leonard said with a dry chuckle. "But I owe you one. If you ever need help or find yourself in a dangerous situation, call me."

"I originally came here to give my sister a chance at the Radiant Light Academy. But looking at things now, that place is utterly useless for her. You and Sylvia are destined to dominate this era. Make this planet a better place. Only through absolute unification can we truly ascend from this Origin Domain. I am completely sure you can do it, Player 555."

Leonard handed Caelus a black business card with his private number. A pair of dark vampiric wings emerged from his back, and he flew off into the night sky.

Caelus looked thoughtfully at the departing figure.

"Who told him about me being Player 555?" Caelus muttered, his expression darkening slightly.

On second thought, it made perfect sense. It would not be that hard to deduce his identity, especially after the explosive recent incident at the Parker Estate. Or perhaps it was his girlfriend that spilled the beans.

He then pulled out his phone and checked the local news network. Surprisingly, no one was talking about the massacre.

"Is this Chairman Welt’s doing?" Caelus nodded to himself.

Welt must have suppressed the broadcast to stop the Royal Family from seeing it prematurely. The Player Association would probably push the narrative off as just another violent fight between players.

But that was exactly what Caelus wanted. He had started beating up Ashford, the Rime naturally accumulated, and a Winter Core formed on its own. That core had triggered Sovereign’s Call, summoning the massive Frost Giant and drawing far too much public attention.

But he was not too worried. Nobody was actually going to believe that a poor student named Caelus Kross with a trash E-Rank affinity possessed a Silver rank combat score. One properly manipulated news article from the Association would clear all doubts.

There was no such thing as reaching Silver rank in just three weeks. Furthermore, his awakened physical features made him look different from his old self. At best people will only think they shared similar features.

Everything was perfectly in his favor.

Soon, he arrived back at the Dragon Luxury Estate.

"Caelus!"

As soon as he opened the front door, a beautiful white-haired vampire rushed directly into his arms. Her sweet voice was heavily laced with worry and concern.

"I am perfectly fine, Miss Sylvia. Did you really think I would lose to some random Silver I players?" Caelus broke into a warm smile and hugged Sylvia tightly.

From his arms, Sylvia looked up with a small glare. "Caelus. I want you to know that you can always count on me. You do not need to do dangerous things entirely alone. Now that I am your partner, I want to be a part of every aspect of your journey."

"I will definitely keep that in mind," Caelus said softly.

"Are you hungry?" he asked, changing the subject.

"Yes," Sylvia hummed playfully, licking her soft lips upon hearing the offer.

Caelus crouched down slightly and scooped her up into a princess carry. He walked them into the living room, sitting on the sofa while Sylvia eagerly feasted on his dense blood.

After she was fully satisfied, Sylvia began peppering kisses all over his face with a massive, happy smile.

"What is up with this sudden show of intense affection?" Caelus asked, genuinely speechless.

"Can I not show affection to my own man?" Sylvia pouted with a fake glare. Then, she broke into a radiant smile. "But I am just in a really good mood today. My brother finally realizes who you truly are and has completely accepted me dating you."

"Hm," Caelus nodded.

He decided not to mention his rooftop meeting with Leonard. It was a serious talk between men, and there was no need to worry Sylvia with the details of their father’s cruelty right now.

What mattered in the end was that everything turned out perfectly fine.

A few hours later, the daily Dungeon Master simulator results finally chimed in their heads.

He impatiently used the 10 pulls and soon he saw an orange light coming from the roulette.
