"Even if you hadn’t asked, I would still protect Roxia. She’s my friend," Su Xuan said calmly.

’After all, Roxia is Rosaline’s niece. In a way, that makes us family.’

Upon hearing this, Princess Vivian smiled faintly. "You don’t need to explain yourself. Just tell me whether or not you’ll accept this request. If you will, then this jade pendant is my token of gratitude."

As she spoke, she held out a Star Jade Pendant that pulsed with a mysterious light.
