Entry Editing: Loyal Succubus Nun
Chapter 61: Sunny and Cheerful...
[NTR Enthusiast] [Purifier] [Likes Basketball] [Sunny and Cheerful] [Mother-in-Law Slayer]
(Hint: The skill awarded to a Player is a fixed choice, therefore your trait options cannot be refreshed!)
"Hmm?" Su Xuan fell into deep thought as he looked at the five traits that had popped up.
He was a little surprised that he could actually add traits to himself.
But from the looks of it, it seemed that the option to choose traits only appeared during a Player’s evaluation promotion. Other Players could also obtain Skills at this stage, but their Skills were fixed and all quite conventional, like raising their own Attributes or providing buffs for Guild members.
But the traits offered to Su Xuan...
’They seem a bit too frivolous. What the hell is a Mother-in-Law Slayer? How are there that many mothers-in-law to conquer?’ 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
’NTR Enthusiast is even more ridiculous!’
’What is this, some kind of erotica?’
’This is a legitimate website!’
’And the most crucial part is... I fucking can’t even reroll them!’
He had to choose two out of the five traits: [NTR Enthusiast], [Purifier], [Likes Basketball], [Sunny and Cheerful], and [Mother-in-Law Slayer]!
’How am I supposed to choose?’
’No normal person would pick ’Likes Basketball’, right? But the other four traits make no sense either!’
’Any choice I make is going to be weird!’
After some thought, Su Xuan finally made his decision.
The trait combination you have chosen is: [A Sunny and Cheerful Mother-in-Law Slayer]!
Su Xuan had chosen [Mother-in-Law Slayer] in the hopes that the trait would have a clever use in the future. For example, on a certain Myth-rank Succubus!
’After all, he had already decided to go all-in on Edith. He had to get on her good side, right?’
[Mother-in-Law Slayer: Your appeal to mature women is increased! Special Attack is increased! This effect receives an additional boost against units with high (Age, Charm) values and is doubled against "mother-in-law" units. (Effect can be stacked infinitely.)]
"’As expected, it’s not a very respectable trait. It gives no boost to my combat power at all!’ Su Xuan sighed. ’Good thing I have one more...’"
[Sunny and Cheerful: You shine and radiate heat like the sun! Local temperature increases by 0–666 degrees Celsius. Negative emotions can no longer affect your state of mind.]
"Huh?"
Su Xuan instantly lost his composure. He thought he had picked a relatively normal trait, but that turned out not to be the case at all!
’What the hell?’
’Are all the traits I get a bunch of lewd jokes?’
’Fuck!’
’What is this bullshit! How does it know me so damn well!’
’A local glow?’
Suddenly curious, Su Xuan lowered his head and gently parted the clouds and mist...
"Holy shit! It glows!"
AHEM!
’Can’t let Ivsha see this, or I won’t be on time for my appointment!’
"Ivsha, we should get going." Su Xuan quickly stood up, ready to head to the church.
Before they left, his gaze fell upon the Green Recruitment Scroll resting quietly on the Guild’s counter. ’I’ll deal with the recruitment after I get back,’ he thought, ’if I make it back safely today.’
"Okay~" Ivsha agreed softly, following behind Su Xuan.
Just before they stepped into the Teleportation Gate, Su Xuan turned to Rosaline. "I’m leaving the Silver Phoenix Butterfly in your care," he said. "If it gets hungry, just feed it... uh... whatever you think is best."
The moment he finished speaking, Su Xuan rushed into the Teleportation Array. A white light flashed, and his figure vanished.
Rosaline was left standing alone. She glanced at the Magic Flame Silver Phoenix Butterfly flitting about the Guild hall, gave a slight shrug, and her expression remained impassive.
With a light flick of a bony finger, a wisp of Magic Power danced at her fingertip before drifting into the air.
The Magic Flame Silver Phoenix Butterfly seemed to sense the presence of food. It joyfully pursued the wisp of Magic Power, extending a slender proboscis woven from Flame to slowly devour it.
Seeing this, Rosaline paid it no more mind. She picked up a newspaper, crossed her legs, and settled in for a relaxing break.
...
In the blink of an eye, Su Xuan arrived at Ivsha’s church. Night had already fallen, painting the sky a deep, bluish-black. Inside, the Nuns were in the middle of their evening prayers, their voices harmonious and devout.
Sister Moran was waiting alone at the church entrance.
"Sister Moran..." Ivsha began as she approached, but Sister Moran stopped her.
"Ivsha, everyone has gone to evening prayers. You should go too," Sister Moran said in an icy tone.
"Alright," Ivsha replied curtly. Without another word, she quietly walked into the church.
Once Ivsha’s back disappeared through the church entrance, Sister Moran immediately turned to Su Xuan. "Let’s go," she said. "My mistress is waiting for you."
"Right," Su Xuan responded quietly, following Sister Moran toward the church’s rear garden.
"Go on in."
"Alright." Su Xuan nodded slightly and stepped deeper into the garden.
What came into view was an exquisite, stone-carved pavilion. Inside, Lady Edith sat quietly, sipping red tea with a leisurely and content expression.
"I’ve come to keep our appointment, Lady Edith," Su Xuan said softly as he slowly approached the pavilion.
"You’ve finally arrived." Edith stood with a faint smile. She wore a vibrant red gown that clung to her voluptuous figure, its beautiful curves enough to make one’s imagination run wild.
Su Xuan also noticed a damp imprint of her rear where Edith had just been sitting. It seemed she had been waiting for a long time.
"Please, have a seat." After they were both seated, Edith flicked a finger, and the teapot automatically poured Su Xuan a full cup of red tea.
Su Xuan raised the cup and took a small sip. The mellow, sweet aroma of the tea instantly filled his mouth...
Mmm!
As the tea flowed over his tongue, it felt as if countless Elves were dancing upon it. In that same instant, a faint, clear light flashed through his mind, gradually filling his consciousness and leaving him feeling refreshed and invigorated.
Also, did the red tea contain a hint of wine? The fragrance was elegant and subtle, weaving together with the scent of the tea to create a unique and alluring flavor.
"This red tea is quite nice, isn’t it? It’s a special blend supplied to the Royal Family of the Star Kingdom. Even the Princes and Princesses only get to enjoy it two or three times a year." Edith set down her cup and smiled, her vibrant red eyes, soft as silk, fixed quietly on Su Xuan.
"It is indeed," Su Xuan nodded. He also discovered that after drinking the tea, he seemed to have entered an ’excited’ state.
[Excited (12 Hours): All Attributes +10! You will not fall into a deep sleep Status!]
As Su Xuan lost himself in the rich fragrance of the tea, savoring a flavor as mellow as nectar, his gaze was once again irresistibly drawn to the peerless beauty of Edith sitting across from him.
Just then, Edith’s voice rang out, flowing as leisurely as a clear spring. Her tone was tinged with a cool glamour, yet it also held a trace of warmth.
"I understand you’re full of questions. Go ahead and ask. I will answer what I can, depending on the question."
