The Sky God’s Divine sense reached Alex and entered his Soul Space. As soon as her senses arrived in the new world, they were immediately assaulted with heat and yang from all sides as she felt the full force of the new Nine Yang Divine Tree.

Having been near this tree many times before, she wasn’t fazed in the slightest. In fact, she was mildly disappointed at how much weaker it was than what she remembered from the past.

But, with the understanding that the original tree had been destroyed and this was a new one, she couldn’t complain about the potency of its aura. Perhaps, she should have been surprised at how much better it was.

Newheaven looked through the tree, seeing no malformations around it, and nodded to herself. The tree was growing properly and would mature in no time at all.

The only question she now had was whether or not it could survive the transfer from this place to the Nine Yang Court.

’Strange,’ she thought as she looked through the surroundings as well. ’There’s dirt in here. He must’ve given the tree some land to grow into.’

She attempted to look through the rest of the land to see how it was, but to her surprise, she immediately faced an immovable wall that her senses could not penetrate at all.

She tried to push upon it, but in doing so, she had to bring in a little more effort than she wanted.

Alex grimaced immediately. "Senior!"

Newheaven realized her mistake and immediately rectified it. She weakened her senses and brought them back out of Alex’s Soul Space.

"My apologies," she quickly said. "I let my curiosity get the better of me. Are you okay?"

Alex took in a deep breath, the brief pang of pain in his mind fading away. "I’m fine, but please don’t do that again."

The Sky God nodded. "May I look at the World Tree next?"

Alex nodded and allowed her into his Soul Space once again.

The Sky God’s senses entered the land, immediately arriving upon a massive tree with a trunk that was larger than the room they were in. With the level of her Divine sense, Newheaven could notice the rich Qi in the surroundings.

Not only that, she could sense the property it held that was different from regular Qi that could not be found anywhere else.

Or rather, it was the lack of a property that she noticed.

Regular Qi was a mixture of all types of elemental Qi that was in harmony and thus didn’t produce any aura at all. As such, while it was neutral, it by no means meant that it lacked elements.

With the Sky God’s physique, one was born with a talent in space, as well as a single spirit root.

The Wood Root.

It was a Supreme grade wood root that gave them an extreme degree of talent toward Wood the same way it did toward Space. In exchange for that talent, however, they were never allowed to cultivate any Qi that wasn’t Wood Qi.

Since neutral Qi was still filled with all elements, it could not be used for their cultivation at all.

However, there was a method to remove the elements from the neutral Qi, making it truly neutral. The records called it World Qi, and it was exactly the Qi that she sensed around the World Tree.

The World Qi held no elements, thus anyone with any sort of spirit root could easily cultivate using it.

That meant that in the presence of the World Tree, even someone with the Sky God’s physique would not have to find Wood treasures to aid with their cultivation.

One could just be in the presence of this tree and cultivate.

’It’s quite weak still,’ she thought. ’It is no stronger than regular Immortal Qi. But... if it were to continue to grow, it would definitely produce Divine Qi, and then...’

The thought of having a free source of Celestial Qi that she could use without the need to worry about its elements was something that the Sky God couldn’t stop herself from having.

At that moment, she began to wonder about all the possibilities in the future where she cultivated with this tree. Would that be a genuine way for a Celestial Firmament cultivator to progress?

And if she did, was there a chance that she could reach the God realm?

Anyone would be tempted by such a treasure. Newheaven was no different. She too was greedy in her own ways, wanting that which didn’t even belong to her in the first place.

The only difference she had with the others was that she could control her greed, instead of letting it control her.

She brought her senses back out, keeping her expression calm. "It has grown far more than I would’ve expected it to," she said. "I didn’t expect it to already be a fifth of its original size."

"A fifth?" Alex asked, very much taken aback by the Sky God’s words.

During the past few decades, with all the various resources Alex had managed to find for the World Tree to grow, it had grown at a much faster rate. Currently, it was easily over a hundred meters tall and was close to twenty meters wide.

And yet, that was only a fifth according to her.

The real one must’ve been much bigger.

’I thought because of the species of trees it is, it would get large, but not in the way the Tree of Life is,’ he thought. ’But if it can reach over a hundred meters in width, that’s still quite big.’

Alex hoped the day would come soon when the World Tree would grow to its full size. He couldn’t wait to see it.

"It’s healthy too, from what I can see," the Sky God continued. "It shouldn’t die when we replant it out here."

Alex froze. "Out here?"

He hadn’t yet internalized the fact that now that he had come to the Sky God’s Palace, it would be time to part with both trees.
