"I mean to say, for example, Aphryne here; before becoming a member of your family, she was known as the Pureblood Calamity: Galescourge Bearer. Who came from the deer family. Auguszta here was a Pureblood Calamity: Infernal Blightflare Kalthara. A lioness, who came from the felidae family."

"Now, I’m curious about you? As a humanoid calamity, which family does your blood belong to? What are you called? Or are you perhaps the first of your kind? Like a progenitor of sorts! The Origin Blood! The start of your own line! Do you understand my words!?"

On hearing Clementine’s words, Aphryne and Auguszta both also became curious. Certainly interested in knowing what they had become. It was about their very identity, you know.

Focusing their attention on Aezaleon, eagerly waiting for his response. Even they didn’t know what type of humanoid calamities they were. They had gotten a great deal of information when they inherited his blood except for this particular piece of information.

Their minds were completely blank about it.

"Uh... that...!"

Aezaleon blinked, understanding where his three wives’ curiosity came from. The answer to this question was essentially linked to their very identity and that of the identity of their husband.

"My race is a calamity—that much you three already know—but I am not sure about what family of creatures my blood belongs to. Even so, I know one thing for certain: aside from me, only Aphryne and Auguszta have my bloodline."

"HM!"

Clementine nodded. "So you really are a new family of calamity, just as I had guessed. The first of your own kind. The origin of your own blood, a Progenitor, huh!?" She gazed at her husband in amazement, her eyes sparkling like newfound jewels. Coming to know a bit more about him.

Aezaleon smiled.

He really loves to see such reactions from Clementine. An ancient woman who, just yesterday, wanted to annihilate his soul and possess his body!

She really has changed so much in such a short time that she barely resembled the cold and ruthless woman dressed in crimson armor he saw yesterday.

It was truly wild to imagine that all of this happened just within a mere half a day since he and her had their souls connected for eternity!

"Now, ’Progenitor’ is a strong word. I don’t know if I really am one or not." Aezaleon shook his head. Further clarifying his reason behind such thoughts.

"Moreover, you cannot base your assumptions on my superficial knowledge. I have only lived for about a day of my life, so who knows, there just might be more of my kind in this vast realm. Just that we haven’t encountered them yet. It could also be because my bloodline simply lacks the information about what my kind’s name is! What is it called? Perhaps I’ve to give it one. Who knows, there are many what-ifs, which we could only confirm are true or untrue with time. So let us not jump to conclusions, shall we!"

"I agree with him on this one, big sis Clementine!"

Aphryne gave her opinion. "If there is something even you don’t know or aren’t sure about, then we just have to let it be, since with time we would know the answer eventually."

Clementine nodded.

"However, if big sister’s guess is correct about Aezaleon being this progenitor, then we should really think about how to identify ourselves!" Auguszta added. "I mean giving our family of calamity a name. A sole identity which would be synonymous with us, and the calamities of our family!"

"Understood, we’ll do that! For now, let’s reconstruct your physical forms first."

Aezaleon agreed with Auguszta’s suggestion. Subsequently, he gazed towards the orange skies. "It is already near dusk; we should find a place to spend the night afterwards, too!"

"I don’t think that should be a problem; we can spend the night in my lair!" Aphryne responded, her voice light as a summer breeze. "It is quite near, too."

Aezaleon nodded.

Afterwards, he used his sub-ability effect two—[Prime Form Creation]—of his ability effect five—[Sanctum of Loyal Revenants]—on both Aphryne and Auguszta’s headless bodies, including their severed heads, simultaneously.

He first created a body for Aphryne. Thereafter, he created one for Auguszta!

—[New name—Prime Form Creation]

In some time, Aezaleon was done.

Interestingly, when their physical forms came to be, Aphryne and Auguszta both had maintained their clothing and weren’t naked, but none of the four paid it any attention.

However, at this instance, Aezaleon realized that amongst them all, he was the weakest currently. Despite having ascended in both his material and spiritual ascension ranks.

Clementine and Auguszta were already out of his league, while Aphryne, whom he had defeated previously, had become even stronger than him after everything that has happened.

Not only did she not regress in her material ascension rank, she instead ascended two times in her spiritual ascension rank.

Once after—[Calamitification: Calamitous Primogeniture], and the next when he recreated her physical body. For this, Clementine easily provided enough energy to make her next ascension to rank 3 possible.

The same thing happened with Auguszta; she was also a material ascension rank 4 and spiritual ascension rank 3 calamity now! It was because of one of the effects of his sub-ability effect five of his ability effect five.

—[Shared Progression]

Where the strength and growth of one companion contributes partially to all the others. Simply put, with Clementine being a [Primordial Sovereign], it wasn’t hard for the two girls to advance in their spiritual ranks two and one time.

Moreover, as if to rub salt over his wound, Clementine even said that as the big sister, she would obviously look out for her little sisters! So if he didn’t want to get left behind by them, he should work even harder!

As if he already wasn’t!

"Okay, since all is done here, let us move to your lair, Little Aphryne~!" Clementine commented. "Lead the way."

Aphryne nodded and soon all four were on their way towards her lair.

Moving towards the west. After covering a few 1,000 meters, they soon arrived before a massive cave!

It was at least 20 meters high and 30 meters wide. As they entered the cave, it was all dark, but since the sun had not disappeared from the horizon, there was still some light inside the cave.

Thus allowing Aezaleon to observe a few things. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Still, he didn’t find anything strange; it was a simple stone cave! Not even Aphryne or Auguszta sensed anything peculiar here.

However, that wasn’t necessarily the case for the ancient vampiress. "Hm.. The Wind Elemental here is quite different from the one outside!" Clementine muttered.

Immediately picking up on something. "How peculiar?" Glancing at the three beside her! "How do I put it...!" She contemplated.

"I would say it is denser, more powerful, and has more weight, like a heavy shroud pressing against the skin. Maybe there is indeed something here that helped in the development of Aphryne passively when she was still a Galescourge Bearer, something that her savage self just never realized."

"Is that so!?"

Aezaleon raised his brow, his curiosity blooming like a flower in the dark. Also curious now.
