Aezaleon moved forward again, completely ignoring the buzzing voice of the side character. He just wanted to enter the city and find a place to rest already. All the detailed investigation and whatever else they needed to do could happen tomorrow morning.

He was just a few steps behind; there were only two outsiders left before him. After them, he would be able to pay the required fee and enter. Alas, a rough hand suddenly landed on his shoulder, gripping it firmly.

"You d*ckless bastard, do you want to die so badly? Just who do you think you are, to dare ignore me?"

Aezaleon glanced to the side, not even turning his head fully. His emotionless eyes focused intently on the shorter male. The man had dark black hair, matching eyes, and was dressed in a sort of polished silver armor.

"Withdraw your hand, human!" Aezaleon commanded coldly.

Ahal flinched. His eyes widened, and he immediately did as he was told—an autonomous, subconscious reaction of his body. He felt fear, one so great that he might have even pissed himself normally, but he held on all because of his utter hatred towards vampires.

He gritted his teeth.

Clenched his fists.

Remembering the day when he was broken not physically but mentally, the humiliation, the pain, and the torment he suffered still haunted him to this day.

"You dare, VAMPIRE!" Ahal bellowed and unsheathed his sword, pointing it directly at him. "For daring to harm a Guard Knight of Varion, doing suspicious activities, and not complying with the arrest, I sentence you to DEATH!"

[What the...]

Let alone he, even his girls were beside themselves in his soul sea. They burst out, not being able to contain their laughter. [Didn’t you want to handle this, dear wife? Now is your time, if not, this human will die.]

Ahal shot towards Aezaleon, activating his rank two offensive sword-type ability. Strands of lightning appeared around his sword, which moved in an arc towards Aezaleon’s head.

Whereas, he merely generated a frost layer on the back of his palm through [Glaciomancer], deflected the incoming sword, clutched the human by the neck, and slammed him hard onto the ground.

CRUNCH!

UGH...

Clementine softened the impact from her side through their connection and induced forced unconsciousness in the human. He wasn’t able to resist her power at all and was out cold instantly.

With the brief drama done, Aezaleon once more joined the regular line.

Afterwards, everything happened as usual.

Actually, the surrounding guards weren’t shocked at all; they already knew the vampire was strong and fully expected such results.

Some with a respectful attitude collected the required fee from him, while some quietly went towards their foolish comrade who couldn’t see the obvious disparity because of his mental condition, taking his unconscious body back to their guard lodgings.

There also wasn’t any problem with the identification process.

Because of the false phantom illusion, Aezaleon tweaked a bit of the Information stored in the elven bracelet. The guards didn’t see the dead elf’s name or his face; only Aezaleon’s name and some other altered details were displayed.

Aezaleon, not giving anything much thought, quietly entered inside the city walls.

It was like any normal mega city, full of vibrant light and life with bustling streets, diverse people, and buildings of many different types and kinds.

He roamed the city streets for some time while having casual conversations with his girls. It was a relaxing time, where he got to briefly see how the outsiders lived their daily lives.

In the end, he stopped before a grand establishment to spend the night. It was the [Bluesky Establishment], a well-known chain of premium hotels for premium customers.

The building itself stood like a polished giant among the surrounding structures, a two hundred and seventy meters tall high fantasy skyscraper constructed of glass, white stone, and shining metal.

Its outer walls reflected the city lights cleanly, while elegant carvings and glowing decorative runic lines gave it an appearance both modern and grand without feeling excessive.

He knew of its exact location and of many other major buildings such as this because of the general map he found inside the elves’ bracelets.

Not to mention, there was also his good Anastasia; there was a lot she told him about Varion, enough that some details he forgot already. Like the names of the nearby cities!

Aezaleon entered inside, going directly towards the receptionist counter. The interior was no less impressive than the exterior structure.

The entrance hall was vast, with polished floors smooth enough to reflect the ceiling lights hanging far above. Tall pillars, decorative plants, and carefully arranged seating gave the place a refined but welcoming atmosphere rather than the cold stiffness one would normally expect from such an expensive establishment. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

A brief conversation followed.

"Welcome to Bluesky Establishment, sir. How may I assist you?" the receptionist asked with a professional smile.

"I require a room for the night. Your best available one," Aezaleon replied calmly.

"Certainly, sir. For one guest?"

"Yes."

The receptionist quickly checked something on a crystal-like terminal panel before nodding. "Our finest suite on the top floor is currently available. Shall I arrange it?"

Aezaleon gave a small nod. "Do so."

Soon, he got himself the best luxury room the establishment had to offer.

It was one of the premier rooms on the top floor of this two hundred and seventy meters high fantasy skyscraper, exactly as the receptionist had said. He was led up there by one of the female attendants working in the establishment, called over by the receptionist.

The journey itself only lasted around three to four minutes, but it was still enough to leave an impression. The lift moved with remarkable smoothness and speed, its transparent glass walls offering a brief view of the massive city below as they ascended.

The upper corridors were completely silent, spotless, and richly decorated without being overly flashy, speaking of wealth through quality rather than unnecessary display.

He had to say, the outsiders truly had quite the advanced standards of living.

The second Aezaleon locked the suite room from the inside, all the girls came out from his soul sea. The two calamities moved inside the space, checking the main hall, the rooms, the kitchen, and everything else with a newfound interest.

They also dragged Anastasia along with them, as they had many curiosities about normal things that they wanted their new sister, who was also apparently far above their age, to answer.

While they explored, Clementine came close to him. "Well, you can relax and take it easy for the night. I’ll go out and check if the regular residents of this place know exactly where this city is located in the grand Great Link. Even a general direction would do for me, but I’m honestly not optimistic at all."

Aezaleon raised his brow. "There is no need to rush things. We can do one thing at a time, no?"

"I’m not sleepy and I don’t have anything to do anyways. You will get busy with the three of them soon, and I’m not one to torture myself for no reason," she stated, giving him a knowing glance.

His lips curled slightly. "Suit yourself. Still, don’t forget that you aren’t the exact same Clementine anymore. You’re currently weak and don’t know the outer extremes of your total strength, so don’t do anything dangerous, is all," he reminded her, his face losing all of his playful smiles. "If I sense even a micro threat to your safety, I’ll summon you back immediately no matter what you are doing."

"Fine!" Clementine said without much thought. ’What is he? My mom?’ She shook her head in amusement, vanishing the very next second, probably having teleported herself to somewhere else in the city.

Aezaleon left the entrance hall, going towards his girls chatting in the main room. They too sensed his sudden entry. "Where is big sis, husband?" Auguszta questioned curiously, turning her head towards him.

"She went to do her own things," he replied nonchalantly.

Going around her, he hugged Anastasia tightly from behind. "It’s finally time, love~!" he smiled, kissing the side of her smooth neck, forcing her to tremble uncontrollably in his arms. She purred adorably.

Eeek!

"Are you ready?"

Anastasia flushed deep red, inclining her head meekly. "How cute~" Aezaleon chuckled, focusing his gaze on the other two. "Come, why don’t you help make your little sister more comfortable?"

They smiled beautifully. "We’d be more than happy to," they responded, looking at their blushing sister with quite the predatory eyes. Anastasia flinched, feeling herself being locked on by three powerful predators; one wanted to devour her completely, and the other two wanted to make her willingly surrender herself to the pleasure.

Aezaleon lifted the embarrassed girl in his arms, princess carrying her towards the bathroom. "Alright, let’s move to the bathroom then? We should get cleaned up before the real thing begins," he murmured playfully.
