This was an ability that Liora had always wished to create, but was limited by her previous abilities and status.

It was only now, when she had become an Archdevil and possessed her own "descendants", that creating it was finally possible.

"After all, I created their bloodline and can be considered the reason behind their existence."

"What’s wrong with asking my so-called descendants for help?"

"Anyway, I doubt they will be able to live a good life following my death.", Liora couldn’t help but mutter and had no guilt regarding Progenitor’s Edict.

In her opinion, this was a nearly perfect ability.

It could grant her greater combat power without her having to pay any price.

The only drawback was that activating it would require the sacrifice of her descendants.

However, Liora was not overly sad about this.

What made her regard this as a drawback was not their deaths, but that she wouldn’t be able to use Progenitor’s Edict continuously.

Following each activation, this ability would enter a "cooldown", during which she would have to wait for enough descendants to be born and for them to grow strong enough to support the casting of this ability.

Of course, this was still absolutely worth it. It was a trump card that perfectly resolved her current predicament.

"The Devil Empress’s Furnace can enhance my combat power. Coupled with my World of Heart, I alone possess the combat power of a Throne Stage Devil."

"Similarly, this ability can summon another Throne Stage powerhouse."

"Combined with the formation’s assistance, even the most powerful Throne Stage Devil would be instantly suppressed within the mansion.", Liora judged.

"Even in the outside world, I have nothing to worry about."

Liora’s eyes finally landed on the last ability.

This one did not directly enhance her combat power by any means.

However, it was the ability that Liora valued the most and the one she had consumed the most Evolution Points to create.

In her opinion, the value of this ability far surpassed that of any other she had created at any point in her life.

Compared to the previous two abilities, this one had far fewer effects. Only a single one.

Yet, that effect was already earth-shattering.

The simple description did it no justice.

As its creator, Liora knew the power of this ability the best. This was exactly the reason she valued it so much.

"Every Devil Technique, no matter if it is of the True Devil or of the Ancient Devil level, requires certain conditions to practice."

"The Four Elements Method, for example, requires the user to devour objects related to the four elements."

"Another example is the Demonic Body Art. Although I can continue to practice it, I haven’t been able to reach the next level because of my lack of required materials."

Liora knew that she had to devour a Darksoul Ore if she wished to bring Demonic Body Art to the next level.

Rumor had it that this material could be found in places where powerful beings related to Darkness had perished.

Unfortunately, Liora knew of no such place. Similarly, trading for it in Hollow City was almost impossible.

Everyone who obtained such a material was bound to be an Archdevil, or at least, a True Spirit Greater Devil.

For beings of this level, trades were no longer conducted through souls.

Only similar materials could catch their interest, items that they required to practice their own techniques.

Liora could only bet on her luck, hoping that the items in her possession could be traded for a Darksoul Ore.

This was exactly what troubled her and limited her at the moment.

Or at least, this was the case in the past.

With the creation of the Profane Offering, she had another far simpler choice.

Liora’s consciousness swept across the Demonforce she had accumulated so far and saw that it had remained stagnant throughout this time.

She still needed to consciously create it and would have to go through a process.

Only by reaching the 5th Level would her body automatically create it like Indestructible Matter.

Similarly, reaching the 6th Level would allow her to freely switch between the different energies and use them as she willed.

Liora’s eyes narrowed.

Several materials she had plundered throughout her journey settled into a pile of mountains before her.

Then, she calmly reached and seemingly grasped at the air around her.

A thunderous bang echoed. A portion of the items in front of her suddenly exploded.

But Liora paid no heed to this. Her mind focused on the inexplicable energy born out of nothing, which used her palm as a conduit to drill into her body.

Once inside, it quickly moved towards the Demonforce and "fell" on top of it.

The Demonforce immediately rioted.

A pitch-black hue flashed across its surface, and it obtained the ever-present property of darkness.

Liora watched the Demonforce propagate.

Her demonic energy and Indestructible Matter moved on their own and combined with it, increasing both its volume and quality.

She soon noticed an enhancement in her physical strength. Though this was nothing compared to her overall strength, Liora couldn’t help but feel excited.

"It works!", she whispered.

Without devouring a Darksoul Ore, the Demonic Body Art had broken through the 5th Level!

Profane Offering had indeed allowed her to bypass the restrictions!

Seeing this, Liora did not stop there.

She stared at the pile of items and confirmed that seventy percent of them were still intact.

"The 6th Level requires the absorption of a Life Crystal, an object only found in the remains of the World Tree. Even as an Archdevil, it would have taken me centuries to locate it. Getting my hands on it is a different matter."

"But now..."

Liora reached out and cast Profane Offering again.

The remaining items in front of her crumbled. Such a waste would have caused Greater Devils to go insane.

However, she didn’t care.

She watched silently as a pure green energy rushed into her body and settled onto the Demonforce.

Like water touching oil, the Demonforce dispersed. Within moments, it had vanished completely from her body.

Yet, Liora knew: as long as she wished to, she could transform her various energies back into Demonforce. All it took was a thought.

Shockingly, she had reached the 6th Level of the Demonic Body Art and fully mastered this Devil Technique!
