Just as the domain was about to pass over the bridge, everything began to shake and rumble.

Neil rolled his eyes.

"The story of my life." How can anything ever go normally when it is related to him?

Of course things would get fucked up, a forest that had been quiet for years will suddenly have a powerful beast or monster from the Phantom Planet.

Right as he was there, clearly what a coincidence.

Neil now felt as if someone was constantly trying to sabotage him, he looked to his left and right and even back.

’Whoever it is, you bastard be prepared, I will tear you apart the moment I find you!’ Neil cursed, as he hurriedly increased the speed of his domain.

Neil then released a scent that would make all the beasts in the surroundings move away.

Hoping that the beast wouldn’t notice them.

"At least it’s not the bridge."

"All of you, go back into the buildings. Eli, only you stay outside." Neil ordered, only while staying in the buildings can their presences be hidden.

The rumbling got louder and then came the sound of thumping, as if some large beast was running at full speed.

Neil’s senses spread in all directions, and soon he felt a dangerous presence, it was a creature of 4th Origin!

And probably at Gold or maybe even Diamond Class, he couldn’t tell exactly from such a long distance.

Neither does he want to know.

Soon, the domain was on the other side of the bridge, then Ileana continued to move all the trees as the domain sped forward.

ROAAARRRRRRRRR

All the creatures in the forest seemed to be in a panic, they were all running in different directions.

That beast for some reason seemed to be angry, who made it angry? Sigh, Neil was so certain that someone did it knowingly.

From the very beginning, from the moment he boarded that warp ship, someone had been sabotaging him at every step.

There were too many things that couldn’t be explained unless someone very powerful is trying to make his life hell.

But what can he do except fight back with all he got?

The tattoos on his arms glowed as the temperature of the surroundings turned strange, clashing with one another.

A part was so hot while the other was so cold, then blades materialised in Neil’s hand, connected with long chains.

Ileana looked up at Neil, he looked too good, especially in this warrior like form... so cool.

While she was staring dizzily at her man, the domain almost clashed with the trees ahead.

She wiped the dreamy look off her face and got back to work, Ileana patted her heart, she can look all she wants later on.

For now, getting out of here was the priority.

"Nemo, don’t stop the domain, no matter what, of course unless there is another beast ahead-"

GRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!

"FUCK!!"

Just then another roar sounded from the direction in which they were heading, just as deadly.

Neil wanted to stab himself with the blades, why did he have to add that last line and jinx himself?

He was so angry, it seemed the scream of the first beast had woken the second one up, and now they were heading towards one another, running wildly.

But the domain was right in the middle.

Neil hurriedly changed the direction, hoping it wouldn’t get sandwiched between the two creatures and get destroyed.

Even with his strength, it will be difficult to take them on both at once, and they might also have some strange abilities.

’Nemo, like humans, do beasts also possess that field thing?’ Neil asked, that was the thing that worried him most.

And he had to be careful to not create too big of a ruckus such that his identity as a Phantom gets exposed.

"Not exactly, but they do have something similar, and that is just as dangerous if not more, it will suppress your strength greatly." Nemo replied.

"Sigh shit, then we need to escape without making a sound." Neil frowned, he might have to fight to buy some time in case they see the domain.

Then he can escape with his Escape skill, that was the last option.

If only he was at the 4th Origin, he would have killed the two beasts with ease.

Just then Neil heard yet another vibration sound, he really felt like crashing out right now, feeling self pity.

"What the fuck is it now?!! Damnit!!" he cursed, fists clenched as he looked around and soon saw a faint glow in the air above the trees not too far away.

The glow kept getting bigger, after seeing it Neil knew exactly what it was.

It was a link, and definitely was not a weak one.

"What great fucking timing, haa." He just felt tired at this point, he couldn’t even catch a proper rest and got thrown into all this.

Soon monsters of the Phantom World will be pouring out from it, and there are already those two beasts, they were all cooked.

His army was still too weak to put up much of a fight, even if they were at Mythic Class.

The sound of trees breaking was getting closer and closer along with the earthshaking thumping, the beast had gotten too close.

GRRAARRRRRR

And soon, they were able to clearly see the 2nd beast which was like a turtle, but with a very long neck and long legs, giving it high speed with high defence.

Its mouth consisted of countless sharp teeth, and strange black patterns were present all over its shell.

A strange black liquid was dripping from its mouth and wherever it fell, the ground or trees started rotting and burning.

It was a highly potent poison.

Neil opened its status and just sighed, life was really playing jokes with him.

Then Neil looked to the other side where loud roaring sounds were still ringing and saw the 1st beast.

It was a gigantic spiky beast, the ones that Neil had killed earlier, it just might be their king.

Both the beasts were too dangerous, Neil could have won against one in his Phantom form in 3rd phase, but there was still a chance he might have lost.

But fighting two was nearly impossible, so he just wanted to escape.

Before the two beasts could get closer however, the link finally completed and grew to a size of several hundred feet.

And then insect like Phaged poured out, Phaged were like zombies who were being controlled by the spores.

The size of each insect was nearly 10 or so feet, they were rather gigantic, some at 2nd Origin, some were even at the 3rd Origin.

And it seemed the strongest Phaged might be at the 4th Origin as well.

Soon hundreds upon hundreds of flying insects poured out, they almost looked similar to mosquitos, except their limbs that were like a mantis.

Sharp and deadly.

Before long the biggest Phaged came out, roaring in a twisting manner, its body was grotesque and covered with ugly spores and mutations.

Neil just stood there with an expressionless face; he might as well check its status.

The situation was already fucked, Neil didn’t know if there was even a way out of here.

Only Magnar can fight along with him, just getting the others out of here will be a big challenge.

Sigh, another Gold Class creature, who could be so desperate to kill him? No way, this whole thing is a coincidence.

Even Freya was baffled by this scene, how can just moving through the jungle change into this?

This guy, he might be too dangerous to stay with. Should she try escaping? Only if she can do it...

The two beasts saw each other and roared, increasing their pace to collide and battle.

The Phaged charged towards the beasts and the domain, flying rapidly as their wings buzzed, it really created a sound like someone crying.

The forest was filled with roars and crying sounds, as if the whole forest was thumping, and shaking violently.

Neil was flying above the domain, he calculated, and the domain can get out before the two beasts collide but the Phaged were too fast.

They will do too much damage to it.

So, he decided to stop them.

"Magnar, don’t reveal yourself just yet, just stay hidden in the domain and Eli, get back inside, I will take care of those trees." Neil spoke loudly as he faced the Phaged.

The frost blade in his left hand buzzed violently as energy poured out and began to freeze the ground in a straight path in front of the domain.

All trees and everything was frozen, even the beasts, then tiny droplets rained down like bullets, breaking everything.

Neil then changed the state of those things and cleared the path, it only took a few moments and the entire path was cleared up.

KIIIIIIEEEEEEE

A Crying Cicada flashed in front of Neil, slashing straight at his neck while trying to hit him with its stinger.

Neil glanced back and saw that the domain was moving perfectly, his right hand slashed forward instinctively, the infernal blade engulfing the Phaged with deadly flames.

It cried louder and flew higher before exploding violently, but right after the death of the first, the crying sound suddenly stopped.

And Neil felt goosebumps all over.
