Kaiser straightened up, his long silver hair floating slightly under the effect of a breeze.

" I have the impression of being in a fairy tale of the knight who saves the princess in distress ?"

Under his eyes, massive and deformed silhouettes were painfully extracting themselves from the humus.

Five orcs, superior rare rank monsters, stood up in front of him. Their protruding jaws let viscous saliva escape and their bloodshot eyes fixed Kaiser with hatred. They brandished crude stone axes.

The closest orc let out a guttural roar, projecting fetid spittle.

"You ... leave ! This place ... belongs to the Princess !"

Kaiser tilted his head to the side

" Oh, you can talk ?" I thought you were only manifestations of her most basic nightmares. "Tell me, the princess in question, is it Sierra or that bloodsucker Shaytan who clings to her soul ?"

The orc only responded with a brutal charge, raising his axe above his head. Kaiser did not move until the last moment. His reflexes, boosted by his S-rank warrior level, were far superior to the creature’s slowness.

In a fluid movement, his katana traced a perfect arc in the air.

<Aura Coating>

A thin layer of bluish energy enveloped the metal. Kaiser pivoted slightly on his left foot, letting the axe fall uselessly into the ground, then he struck. The blade cleanly sliced the orc’s arm at the elbow. The green limb fell into the grass, soon followed by a jet of dark blood.

The orc screamed, but Kaiser did not give him time to realize his pain. With a backhand, he drove the tip of his sword into the beast’s throat.

" I expected the Princess of Sloth to put a little more conviction into her defenses."

The four other orcs, far from being intimidated by the death of their companion.

Kaiser spun his sword in his right hand, his gaze becoming cold again.

" Your mistress is nothing but a parasite lodged in the mind of an unstable elf... It’s quite pathetic for a demonic princess. "

Two orcs attacked simultaneously from each side. Kaiser activated his Dash skill. His body became a silver blur, moving at a speed that the monsters’ eyes could not follow. He reappeared behind the orc on the left, the edge of his blade decapitating the creature with a single sharp blow.

While the body was collapsing, Kaiser used Aura Attraction.

An invisible force seized the orc on the right and violently pulled him toward him. Kaiser welcomed him by driving his elbow into his sternum. The distinct sound of ribs shattering was heard. Before the monster could fall back, Kaiser sliced the tendons of his legs.

The leader orc brought his axe down with colossal force onto the ground. A shockwave spread, making the earth tremble under Kaiser’s feet.

The latter jumped with agility, using Aura Repulsion to propel himself even higher into the air.

During his fall, he observed Sierra in her cage. She seemed to be regaining consciousness, her moon eyes watching the fight with a mix of incomprehension and terror.

He landed softly and blocked the leader orc’s axe with his katana.

He extended his hand and the aura of his hand transformed into a sharp blade. He pierced the orc’s belly... The blade came out in his back, covered with viscera. The monster spat a ball of black blood onto Kaiser’s coat.

With an aura-charged roundhouse kick, he sent the corpse crashing against orcs that were coming out of the ground.

The monsters were stopped dead in their tracks, pulled by an invisible hand. They slid on the ground, clawing the earth with their hooked fingers, screaming in terror.

Kaiser advanced slowly, the sound of his boots on the ground being the only audible sound in the silence that was falling again.

Kaiser took the time to massacre all the monsters that stood in his way, at the level he displayed he was at least 5 times stronger than when he was only an A-rank warrior and that without even really using all his assets.

He placed his foot on the throat of an orc.

" Tell Shaytan that if she wants to play, she will have to do better than that. I am not a priest of the Holy Cathedral with his useless prayers."

He sliced the head of the last creature with a nonchalant movement, then wiped his blade on the still green grass. His aura stabilized and his Predator eyes returned to their original blue color. He then turned his gaze toward the cage and the Wyvern which was beginning to spread its wings, letting out a cry that made the air vibrate.

Smoothing his silver hair back.

" Well ... Now, let’s get down to serious business. The princess is waiting for me, and I have a reputation to maintain, even in her dreams."

He took a few steps forward. The wyvern spread its wings, a wingspan of more than twenty meters which projected a massive shadow over the prairie. The wind caused by this movement carried a smell of sulfur and dried blood.

Kaiser stopped at a respectable distance, hands in his pockets, affecting total nonchalance to maximize his Aura Farming.

The wyvern let out a roar that made the ground vibrate under Kaiser’s feet. The sound power was such that it could have burst the eardrums of an ordinary warrior.

The wyvern dove...

By its size and power, it was an adult wyvern that could easily equal an S-rank warrior-

It did not fly, it literally fell from its perch, using its massive weight to crush Kaiser. The latter immediately activated his Dash skill. His body became a silver blur, shifting to the left a fraction of a second before the impact.

*BOOM*

The earth exploded under the shock. Blocks of rock were projected in all directions. Kaiser, already repositioned, observed the crater with an analytical gaze. The wyvern straightened up with surprising agility for its size, its spiny tail sweeping the air in a deadly whistle.

The creature opened its maw, and Kaiser saw a purple glow concentrating at the back of its throat.

An invisible impulse burst from Kaiser’s feet, propelling him backward just as a jet of demonic flames swept the place where he was. The fire did not only burn the flesh; it seemed to consume the air itself, leaving behind a spatial distortion.

" It’s my turn, I suppose."

He used Aura Attraction on a large rock lifted by the previous explosion. The boulder flew toward him, and with a roundhouse kick, Kaiser sent it toward the wyvern’s head. While the monster shattered the obstacle with a jaw strike, Kaiser was already on it.

His muscles tensed, the veins bulging under the skin of his arms. The blade traced a perfect arc.
