It was unclear how long they had been running; it seemed like a long time, yet the eastern sunset remained low, and the entire sky exuded a faint dark purple hue. The endless dunes in the distance looked like deep-colored hills standing there under the setting sun.

Throughout this journey on the Demon Beast’s back, Lin Feng had been contemplating many things. He needed to quickly adapt to this world and strengthen his power.

At this moment, the Demon Beast, still complaining internally about when it would see the green forest, glanced ahead without enthusiasm and suddenly noticed the green forest hundreds of miles away, feeling immensely excited in its heart. He then turned to face the mountains ahead, layer upon layer of forests stacked, each mountain taller than the last, with the final row rising into the clouds like Sky-Supporting swords, seemingly taller than him, so tall that the peaks were out of sight.

Looking at the mountains before him, green, white, and red trees intercrossed, some with branches and leaves, both long and short, but all had one thing in common—the branches and leaf colors matched each respective tree color.

Of course, within these mountain ranges, there were also unique trees—trees lacking branches and leaves, yet blooming brilliantly pink flowers. Sometimes, birds passing over the mountains would show signs of tension when approaching the flowering trees, suddenly soaring upwards.

Occasionally strange bird calls sounded, and trees in the forest shook constantly; after a few moments, everything returned to calm. Layers of floating white mist between the mountains made the unseen high mountains appear even more ethereal.

What was even more extraordinary were some seemingly ordinary trees that, when accompanied by bird calls, emanated waves of mysterious aura, powerful as the breath of some animal, giving off an intimidating feeling.

Taking in these sights and sensing the mysterious aura, the unusual beast calls, Lin Feng felt a hint of difference in the forest, slightly furrowing his brow, moving forward, and soon arriving at the edge of the forest, casually finding a gap between the trees and slipping in.
