The day went by in a blink of an eye. The sun was slowly rising, eliminating the darkness that was before it and illuminating the world with its brightness. It peeked beautifully, brushing against the curtains and into the room where the mates lay bare in each other’s arms still sound asleep. Exhausted from the activities of the night.

The sound of the chirping birds on the branches of the trees woke the Alpha up. His eyes shot open but he still lay beside his kate mate with his arms around her small frame. Holding her firm and secure even in his slumber. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

He ran his fingers through her hair combing it gently before tracing her face with his finger. Her mouth was slightly ajar from exhaustion and he smiled, tracing her lower lip. He cupped her face and leaned forward and kissed her lightly. He traced her naked body taking his as if to get familiar with her curves and casting every inch of her to memory.

She stirs from the tickles of his tough and street he’s ever so lazy like a newborn baby. Her eyes finally fluttered open and smiled at the face that greeted her with a smile of his own. Raising her hand, she touched his face and caressed his cheek. "You look even more handsome in the morning," She said and snuggled closer to him.

A hearty chuckle left his lips when he heard what she said while his wolf purred at the compliment from their mate. "You get even more beautiful every second." He said, running his eyes around her body, "And even more so after sex."

She blushed and looked away making her hair fall on the side of her face blocking his view of her face. He chuckled at her reaction and tucked the hair behind her ear. "You are always beautiful, Kora," He said and kissed her cheek. "How was your sleep?"

"Relaxing." She tried looking at him.

He nodded and then looked out the window. He had blocked the mind link since his return and locked themselves inside the room, no one could reach him and he didn’t want them to ruin the moment. He had even turned off his phone to ensure that. But he knew they were all waiting for him and he had to go. He opened their k and he almost blocked it again from the inflood of voices he received at the same time. They have tried many times to reach him and it felt like there was a cue of voices in his ear.

"I want to take you somewhere, it will be good if you trained there for a few days." He informed her. Her back was pressed against his chest now and she gently rubbed her stomach drawing circles on it.

"Where is that?" She asked, tilting her head up only to see his chin.

"Ghora," He replied, staring blankly at the wall. "Will you come?" He asked. He wanted her to choose, if she didn’t want to go then he will find some other way, he needed to train her human and beast sides together, the better she got at fighting, the more she will be able to defend herself, he powers were good and handy but he did not want her to reliant on them. Knowing the spell casters, they may be looking for ways to counter her abilities and he would want her to be left defenseless if such should happen. She was strong but she could be even better.

"Yes," Kora said, her eyes dropping close, feeling the warmth of his body. " I want to go."

"Thank you," He said. Her stomach growled and she chuckled while she blushed. "Let’s get you something to eat," he said and picked up, heading for the bathroom. "But first, a bath."

A while later they were both seated in the dining area and the game had joined them for breakfast this morning. It was lively at the table as they all exchanged pleasantries and inquired about their stay away.

After breakfast, Emily pulled Kora away for girl time, Sophia and Luncuda tagged along while Lucy said she would be back shortly and followed the boys into the Alpha office.

"I want the report," Darren said after raking his seat behind the desk.

Mate and Levi began reporting all that had happened while he was away to him. By the end of the report, he was staring at them with crimson eyes. His eyes were a dark shade of red making it look like blood in his eyes. The room was encompassed by his alpha aura and even outside the office. All that felt it knew the Alpha was pissed.

Lucy squinted her eyes and frowned. She felt as if she could see the dark aura that swirled around him and from him. That was the first time it happened.

"Are they all in the training grounds now?’ Darren asked, his voice cold and hard.

"Yes, they are still there," Levi replied. They exchanged knowing looks with each other.

"Good, * He said and stood up. "Time for some real training." He said and pushed his seat aside and walked out of the room.

"We should follow to make sure he does not kill them, " Leo said and everyone stood up immediately dashing out of the room and following after the Supreme Alpha.

They all knew he was going to whip most of them to pulp in the name of training although they deserved it they could not allow him to kill them off. They were still needed for the up-and-coming battle of races.

Getting to the training grounds, Darren took off his shirt, his tattoos fully revealed for all to see while he stood by the side, his eyes searching for some specific shifters whom he had come to toy with. Spitting at the far end of the grounds he made his way to them.

As he moved, the shifters stepped aside and bowed their heads with surprised looks on their faces. They felt his aura before but they didn’t expect him to visit the training ground. It was obvious from the look in his eyes that he was there to let out his anger and behave themselves, praying not to be on the short end of his anger because they all knew how bad the person would be at the end of it.

He walked until he was standing behind the two who had decided to be the ring leaders, leading a revolt against him because he was absent for a few days.

Feeling the suffocating presence behind them, they turned around only to curse inwardly and wonder why no one mind linked them to warn that he was there.

"Alpha!"

They both said at the same time.
