Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 226. Would make a useful Abomination
Hours passed and the day slowly turned to night. Dmitri stood in the middle of the dark room staring at the one-armed shifter who was held in place by Azrail. He was bleeding and counting up blood but no one seemed to care.
Dmitri’s eyes were a dark shade of red, it was apparent that he was angry though his face did not show that but his eyes were enough to tell the tale. The darkness of the room did not affect them at all, the higher sense of sight kept the darkness at bay.
"Who else is working with you?" Azrail asked, stabbing his elongated nails into the amputated arm that had healed, reopening it and making it bleed.
Sebastian gritted his teeth and tried hard not to growl at the bloodsuckers who were torturing him. He didn’t know how they found out about his dealings with Darren’s enemies. The only one whom he could think of who could have sold him out was Collins. He doubted himself when he thought of them but who else could have done it? Collins was the inky who knew about and was still around here in the vampire territory with him. He shut his eyes due to the pain he felt. The pain of betrayal and the physical torture that he was receiving.
"You won’t talk, would you?" Azrail asked. He stabbed his abdomen with his claws drawing blood, while Sebastian chewed on his inner jaws and stifled a pained groan. "Now, talk, you else is in this with you?"
"Collins," Sebastian said. He successfully stopped another punch from being delivered to him. If he would be sold out like this by Collins, then he might as well drag him down with him. They should suffer it together.
Azrail stopped, stood up straight, and turned to look at Dmitri who then walked forward towards them. "What do you think, my lord, is he saying the truth?" He asked.
"Release him," Dmitri said and He let go of Sebastian and stepped aside, giving some space to his lord, but not too far behind him. He fell to the ground with a thud unable to keep himself up. "Do you think you are talking to Leroy?" Dmitri asked, squatting to Sebastian’s level on the ground. "Tell me who it is, if you want to live,"
"I am telling the truth," Sebastian said, as he sat while holding his stomach. His injuries were starting to heal all over again though it still hurt like hell.
"Leroy is on his way here with this Collins that you speak of, we shall know very soon just how truthful you are," Dmitri said.
As if on cue, Leroy walked in with Collins tailing behind him with a look of confusion on his face. Seeing the Vampire lord there gave a bad feeling in the out of his stomach. Azrail alone was already a problem to deal with and he had tried hard not to cross either of the three vampires in here. All he wanted was some peace even though he knew that it was too much of a wish to make. But here he was now, summoned by the lord himself for a reason that he had no idea of.
"Lord Dmitri," he bowed his head upon arrival. His eyes caught Sebastian sitting on the ground being stared at by Dmitri and wondered what he had done this time that had caused this to happen.
"Is this Collins?" Dmitri asked Sebastian.
"Yes, that is Collins," Sebastian replied without batting or an ounce of remorse in his tone.
The exchange of words confused Collins even more but he did but speaks because he was not asked to speak yet. He waited and watched the faces of the four men in the room. Sebastian stared at him with an accusation in his eyes. Dmitri had a smirk in his face while Leroy and Azeail were waiting on their lord’,a command like the faithful and loyal subjects that they were.
"You can take it from here, Azrail," Dmitri said standing up.
Azrail bowed and in a blink of an eye, he was behind Collins and knocked him down to the ground.
It was so sudden that Collins was unable to register what had happened until he felt Azrails nails dig into his neck and the liquid which he recognized as blood rushed down and into his clothes.
"Your friend over here said you are his accomplice," Dmitei said when he was sure that Collins was the same enough to register his words correctly. "I said it’s a lie, but he insisted, so I had no other choice but to bring you here," he walked closer to him and stood just three feet away and stared at the suffocating shifter. "Is this true?" he asked. Though he j we it was a lie, tieturing a will was enjoyable especially if that wolf was associated with someone or something that had managed to tick him off.
Collins frowned and groan in pain. How was he supposed to answer that when there was still an iron grip in his neck with claws sunk into his throat?
"Mhm, allow him to speak, Azrail," Dmitri said.
Receiving that command, Azrail releases his hold on Collins neck. He coughed up blood and held on to his neck for a few seconds waiting for his vocal birds to heal properly before he could reply. He opened his mouth to speak but Dmitri raised a finger.
He turned to Sebastain who seemed to have healed completely now and said, "If he is proven innocent, I will torture you myself and make good use of you, you may have one arm, but I am sure as an Abomination, your two arms will be functional. In the other hand, if what you say is true and he is your accomplice, you both will be turned into Abominations,"
Both Sebastian and Collins swallowed upon hearing the threat. Now Collins was really wondering what was going on. What was it that they wanted to know?
"You may speak," Dmitri said, looking at Collins who swallowed and Collins opened his mouth to speak.
