"Did you see the posture of that guy just now?"

Not long after, the Dragon Witch said with a smile, "He seems very arrogant."

"Rams is getting more and more low-level; how could he have such a character in his group, flaunting their team name in public?"

Li Ang said, "When he walked over, the port personnel nearby clearly all knew him; this suggests he is connected with the maritime gathering and the shipyard blockade. It appears The Soul Apex is meddling in these affairs again."

He paused and explained to Farina that the reason he said "again" was because there had been a similar incident at Spark Port and another one at Holy City involving Yusef, both of which had the shadow of The Soul Apex.

"Rams indeed."

Farina sighed, twirling her red hair with her fingers as her face showed a reminiscence.

"He used to love coordinating joint operations with other teams or local forces; I didn’t expect it to be the prototype of his connections with various factions."

Li Ang smirked, "Well, perhaps this current state is his dream come true."

"Then the matter of the City of the Ship’s Rudder might not be simple."

Previously a member of the Banquet of the Gods, Farina said, "For the Celestial Group to get involved, there must be ample profits to be made."

Staying close to Li Ang, the young girls gained some understanding of The Soul Apex.

Zoe frowned, "These guys are really bad; why do they always want to obstruct us?"

"Sometimes, bad people just always exist," Dorothy sighed.

ALulu also said, "If they intend to do bad things..."

"Is it the Empire?" Dorothy, an Imperial person, asked.

"Quite possibly."

Li Ang pondered for a while; in Meimei’s accounts, Holy City had been damaged internally, likely Yusef’s doing. When connecting these events, it became apparent that The Soul Apex played some role in them.

Meimei pinched her smooth chin, "In the Empire’s world invasion process, there indeed existed Sky Cavalry who became their minions, yet there’s no mention of The Soul Apex."

Farina, thoughtful, smiled at the girl, "Have you heard of me, Farina Vaiwen? Maybe the Banquet of the Gods exists over there too?"

If not The Soul Apex, the first team to join would be the Banquet of the Gods.

Meimei appeared slightly perplexed; it seemed these did not exist in her memory.

"Balbanus?" Li Ang mentioned the name of the Horned Race leader from the Banquet of the Gods.

"That’s a name from the Horned Race; who is he?" Meimei still didn’t know.

"He’s the leader of the world’s strongest Sky Cavalry."

Li Ang asked, "Didn’t you say that the Dome Furnace Association and Cloud Wanderer presided over the cleansing of Dark Night Ancient City? Do you know Artisan Cassandra, one of the ’Hammer of the Source’ trio from the Dome Furnace Association?"

"Hammer of the Source? That’s a leader in the Dome Furnace Association? Were there originally three of them? I only know Lord Hephaestus."

Li Ang scratched his head, "Apparently, it’s either Cassandra doesn’t exist, or something happened to their family?"

"This is a Horned Race girl’s name; who is she?" ALulu suddenly asked.

The young girls all turned to look over.

Li Ang said helplessly, "She’s Balbanus’ mother."

The girls all showed a "Oh, that’s how it is" expression and shifted their attention.

"Overall, this Soul Apex might be one of your Empire’s henchmen; do you have any connections with them?" Meimei noticed something.

"Previous team, both Farina and I."

"No wonder you left," Meimei smirked, "You seem to increasingly resemble—"

"Let’s go first; find a place to stay, then clarify the situation. And I don’t think hosting an airship race requires occupying the entire shipyard." Li Ang stepped forward.

Their own ships couldn’t start construction, and the girls weren’t too enthusiastic, but wandering to the street of an unexplored island, the novelty diluted some of the discontent.

The City of the Ship’s Rudder’s commercial street was actually not large; rather it was more apt to call it a living area, lacking large commercial centers, mixed with restaurants and entertainment venues. Given the area’s predominance of workers, there were also numerous adult establishments.

After a few steps, Zoe curiously stopped in front of a flashy store, eyeing the scantily clad women of various races inside with confusion.

"Let’s go quickly."

Dorothy, ALulu, and Andasu pulled her, but Zoe grew more curious, craning her neck before they finally managed to drag her away.

"This really is an improper city," Dorothy said angrily.

"Don’t learn from those bad women, Zoe," ALulu said sternly.

"So those are bad women? No wonder when I wore those clothes I bought randomly in Holy City for Li Ang, he told me not to wear them normally."

Li Ang suddenly froze; earlier in the room, when she wore the outfit she bought from roadside vendors in Holy City, it unexpectedly triggered a certain attribute, making him briefly lose control. The outfit indeed resembled those in the store just now.

He wanted to cover her mouth but was too late.

Andasu and ALulu had subtle expressions and didn’t react further, but he immediately faced Meimei’s disdainful gaze and Dorothy’s pinching and poking all the way while Farina turned her face to another side.

As for Meluna... her knife-like gaze mainly focused on Zoe; despite previously witnessing the duel between two Sword Heroes, Zoe was wary of the black-haired girl but still returned her glare with discomfort.

Li Ang thought her words were rather strange, yet there wasn’t much to say. Though she was filled with idle thoughts privately, she herself was a decent young lady; it’s Li Ang who increasingly seemed less like a good person.
