In the Seireitei in Soul Society, several alarm tiles slot into place as a voice declares that a distortion has been detected in the western Rukongai and alerts the Shinigami.

The shinigami proceed to run toward the source of the disturbance as 6th Division Lieutenant Renji Abarai wonders what is going on.

Meanwhile, in the Dangai, Ichigo and his friends run along the path.

Looking back, a shocked Uryū Ishida wonders what is happening and points out how the melting wall behind them is catching up due to the area they just ran through encroaching and collapsing in on itself, prompting an irritated Yoruichi to chide him for talking instead of running faster before frantically asserting that it is all over if the Kōryū catches them.

Suddenly, a tendril of the collapsing Kōryū reaches out, grabs onto Uryū’s short cape, and begins dragging him backward by it into itself, to his surprise.

Yasutora Sado runs back and rips off Uryū’s cape, freeing him from the Kōryū, and while Uryū thanks him, Sado hoists Uryū over his shoulder and rejoins the others in running ahead despite Uryū’s protests of being able to run on his own.

However, upon looking over the area behind them, Uryū notices something and warns his friends that something is coming after them.

With a light shining through the Kōryū from its front, the Kōtotsu bursts into view behind the group, and when a startled Uryū wonders what it is, Yoruichi reveals that the Kōtotsu is a cleaner of the Dangai that appears once every seven days before bemoaning how it had to show up right now.

Telling the others to run faster due to the incredible speed of the Kōtotsu, Yoruichi sees that they are close to the exit, but as the Kōtotsu draws closer,

Eero glanced at the dark, train-shaped object with bright light progressing toward them.

"Hurry up, run faster, or we won’t be able to outrun this thing." Ishida Uryu spoke anxiously, looking at the light getting nearer and nearer. He closed his eyes.

Hearing Uryu words, Orihime Inoue suddenly stops in her tracks and turns around to face the approaching Kōtotsu with a determined look on her face.

"Orihime!," Instantly, Ichigo and Sado exclaimed, looking in her direction, but she determinedly raised her hand and activated her fullbringer.

Senten Keshun!!!

Eero raised his brow in surprise, looking at a square shield erected in front of her, and collided with the incoming Kotetsu.

Boom!!!

Upon collision, an explosion occurred, sending all of them outside the hole along with dust and particles floating around them.

"Ahhhh," Instantly scream spread spreading around in the Rukongai area,

Bang! Bang!! Bang!!!

One by one, all of them fell on something hard, like a tile floor.

"Everyone, are you fine?"

Suddenly Orihime’s voice sounded, and the dust cleared to reveal Orihime had caught everyone with another Santen Kesshun.

Eero, standing calmly on the shield, glanced at the embarrassed, fallen pose of Ichigo and others while they were arguing.

Orihime compliments Ichigo’s embarrassing landing pose, to his irritation.

Admitting that this journey into Soul Society was more intense than he expected, Uryū pulls out another cape from within his uniform.

When Uryū states that he never thought he would use his extra cape so soon, Ichigo and Sado are left speechless at him bringing a spare to begin with.

"Thankfully everything is fine," Orihime spoke with a cheerful smile, looking at everyone while landing on the ground, then she glanced at the Eero standing far away alone in surprise.

Eero glanced at her and nodded and said, "Thank you for your help; we have reached the destination successfully without any problem."

As the dust around him and Ichigo party clears to reveal the rural buildings of the Rukongai,

"Is this soul society?" Ichigo asked while looking at buildings and houses around them thoughtfully.

"This is the area where souls first come to live after entering soul society and comprises the area encircling the Seireitei, where the Shinigami live."

Yoruichi replied and explained the interior of soul society, including the Rokungai and Seireitei, and also the district around it one by one, surprising Ichigo and his friends. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

"I will be the first to reach the seireitei." Ichigo suddenly spoke and ran toward the middle main area of soul society.

"Wait, don’t get too close or you will be killed." Yoruichi hurriedly warned and followed him angrily and annoyed; Orihime, Sado, and others also followed behind.

Eero glanced at their backs standing in the same place alone and then glanced at the large wall falling from the sky and a giant shadow far away.

"Well, let them toss; I should stroll in other places," Eero thought to himself, and his figure flickered and disappeared.

Instantly the Yoruichi running far away froze; her cat pupils turned and glanced at the empty place behind her; Eero among them disappeared and was nowhere to be seen.

’I hope he doesn’t create blocks in Ichigo Boy Path; Orahara really gave me a troublesome task,’ she thought to herself and then heard a bang sound.

Boom! Boom!! Boom!!!

One by one, large walls along with a gate and a giant sitting in front of him appeared in front of Ichigo and his friend, startling them.

On the other hand,

An Eero figure appeared on a hill inside the seireitei, looking in the direction of the white way gate and enclosing walls; also, a giant confronted the Ichigo while his friends found a way to invade the seireitei.

Eero glanced at them, and then his figure blurred and disappeared.

After a few hours,

Within the Seireitei, Renji walks along a bridge to Senzaikyū with a veiled Rukia behind him, escorted by the four members of the Kidō Corps who are carrying staffs attached by a red rope to a collar around her neck.

After they enter the Shishinrō within Senzaikyū, the Kidō Corps members remove the veil and rope from Rukia before bowing as Renji asks Rukia if she can see the Sōkyoku on Sōkyoku Hill from the sole window within the cell, as they are the instruments that will be used to take her life.

One of the Kidō Corps members explains that this place is called the "Palace of Penitence" because its prisoners can look out at the Sōkyoku and repent for their crimes every day during their incarceration while Renji looks up at the curving staircase above.
