Chapter 316: The Cosmic Hierarchy: The Exploit In The Code

​Mirabella stared at the deep hole before her, a deep frown on her face. Her draconic senses probed the swirling dust, searching for a fluctuation in the local energy pool.

​Mirabella froze, moving her gaze over her shoulder. The spatial fabric behind her didn’t just tear; it was violently erased. A burnt Void Calamity appeared right out of the vacuum, a devilish smirk on her face as her primordial claws moved towards her with an absolute, unavoidable trajectory.

​"I will sacrifice all my spirit energy to kill you!! After a century, I will regain it all back!!" She yelled, and moved her hand.

​The attack bypassed all known defensive algorithms of Galaxy Fall. She cut off Mirabella’s neck, the corrupted momentum so absolute that even the passive invisible armor couldn’t block the attack, shattering like glass.

​"Hahahahah!! I killed her!!!" Void Calamity watched as Mirabella’s headless body fell from the sky, her draconic wings limply folding as the corpse plummeted right into the craterous hole below.

​"Hahaha!! Nothing can stop the greatest evil now!!!" She yelled, raising her blood-soaked claws to the ruined heavens. But her triumphant roar caught in her throat. She froze, seeing as a tiny fairy appeared some distance from her, hovering in the suffocating miasma.

​"Huh? A divine fairy?" Void Calamity muttered in shock, recognizing an entity born from the purest, uncorrupted elements of the universe.

​Adira raised two tiny hand, one raised over her head, and the second pointing downward. Her golden eyes glowed brightly as all the spiritual energy in heaven and earth shifted, answering the absolute command of her ability.

​"From the heavens, I called upon the soul, from the earth, I called upon the body, from heaven and Earth, I called upon time."

​Void Calamity screamed, her ancient memories easily recognized the dangerous Supreme Class ability that could overwrite reality itself, and shot towards Adira to interrupt the casting.

​The flow of time instantly froze. The falling debris hung suspended in the air. A huge, ethereal clock composed of golden runes appeared above the sky, and started spinning anticlockwise, violently rewinding the time.

​Void Calamity was dragged backward through the spatial tear. Mirabella’s headless body rose back into the air, defying gravity, her severed head following closely behind. The space which Void Calamity broke through cracked back opened, and swallowed her again in reverse. Mirabella’s head fixed back on her body, flesh and bone knitting together flawlessly as the timeline corrected itself.

​The time rewind back to the exact moment the devil manifestation released the golden arrow. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

​"This?!"

​Void Calamity was shocked, moving her gaze around the dark domain and fog, completely disoriented by the temporal whiplash: "No!!"

​She tried to summon her aura to attack but froze. All her energy had been consumed. Once burned, it was gone, meaning right now, Void Calamity was completely powerless, stripped of her primordial defenses.

​While Mirabella was the complete opposite, still having all her spirit energy in store.

​Mirabella raised her claw, touching her perfectly intact neck, feeling the phantom sting of her own execution: "If Adira wasn’t here, I would be dead for sure... Indeed, void Calamity Annihilation is something I can’t withstand with my current strength." She said, staring coldly at the moving arrow traversing the domain.

​"Don’t be so shocked, from the very start, I can hear all your thoughts... From the information, I simply gave Adira the instructions... Now, you are dead."

​The arrow, empowered by abyssal and spirit energy, smashed right into the domain, piercing the defenseless host. It exploded into a massive mushroom cloud, destroying half of Queens, turning the whole land into a barren landscape of white-hot ashes.

​"Is she dead, Master?" Adira asked, her golden glow dimming slightly from the exertion as she stopped beside Mirabella.

​"That is just a puppet, the real body is still down the estate. Follow me." She said, her golden-red eyes narrowing, and dived Inside the hole leading straight towards the underground cave.

​Mirabella landed on her feet with a heavy thud, the ambient temperature plummeting as she entered the abyssal nursery. Moving her gaze on the green glowing jade cocoons, she verified the life-signs of the captives and paused on Grace’s sister, safely suspended in the bio-stasis.

​"You actually dare come back here after you killed my best puppet?!!"

​A deep demonic voice sounded all over the place. The sound waves were so dense they carried physical force, smashing heavily into Mirabella’s energy shield:

​"Why are you putting on airs?! Without your energy, you are nothing but an insect." Mirabella said coldly, standing tall and staring ahead into the absolute darkness.

​From the suffocating shadows, two gigantic red eyes appeared, burning like corrupted stars, staring straight at her:

​"I admit you are strong, Human. But do you truly think you can kill me?! Let me tell you, I am just part of my soul, do you think you can defeat my true body who is resting in the cosmos?" It asked, the voice echoing with the ancient weight of a shattered dimension.

​"Cosmos? Tell me, where is that?" Mirabella asked, probing the entity for critical information, and added:

​"What?! Are you scared to reveal such information?"

​"Hehehe! You humans are always arrogant... To reach the cosmos, you must first Advance to the fourth world in Galaxy Fall, then break through to the Supreme Heaven stage. Then, you will have the strength to bypass the restriction and enter the cosmos. There, you will meet the other evil gods, but I will be the one to take your head." It revealed.

​Mirabella’s mind rapidly processed the evolutionary ladder. ’This thing just revealed that there is another world much more advanced and bigger than Galaxy Fall... I haven’t even entered the Third World, let alone the fourth.’ She thought with a slight frown. The path to the Supreme Heaven stage would require an insurmountable accumulation of power and bloodline evolution.

​"I won’t be able to descend, but if you dare step foot in the fourth world, I will notice your presence... Even if I can’t kill you myself, I will unleash my soldiers!! So go ahead and do what you want. When we meet again, it will be your death."

​Mirabella’s eyes narrowed, refusing to be intimidated by a distant threat. And with a single, ruthless thought channeling her mental Overlord, the two gigantic red eyes shattered into a localized explosion of dark energy:
