Game Invasion: 100x Evolution, From Weak to God
Chapter 41: Dilva Planet
The Spirit Tree did not keep Caelum waiting for long.
The very next day, every Spirit Fruit inside the hollow trunk ripened completely, turning into bright crimson fruit.
At a glance, there were at least a hundred of them.
Caelum picked one casually and swallowed it in a few bites.
The moment the flesh passed down his throat, an overwhelming surge of vitality flooded his entire body before digestion was even necessary.
His aura began rising rapidly.
[Battle Power Increased]
Boom!
His aura exploded outward.
40000!
50000!
60000!
70000!
80000!
Only after his battle power climbed past 80000 did it finally stop.
The increase was so absurd it bordered on unbelievable.
In the blink of an eye, his battle power had risen by 50000.
Even Caelum himself found it difficult to process.
"This feels unreal."
"The increase is ridiculous."
"If a planet with even greater life force produced Spirit Fruits, then wouldn’t the effects become even more insane?"
His eyes lit up immediately.
Without hesitation, Caelum ate a second Spirit Fruit.
[Battle Power Increased]
[Battle Power: 130000]
Just as expected.
Another clean increase of 50000 battle power.
And so, Caelum continued eating one fruit after another.
By the time he consumed the tenth Spirit Fruit, his aura had already reached an utterly terrifying level.
Even standing nearby, Zadamor felt his scalp go numb from the pressure.
530000 battle power in his normal state.
That was Caelum’s current strength.
"So ten fruits is the limit?"
When Caelum ate the eleventh Spirit Fruit, his battle power did not rise at all.
Still, he did not feel disappointed.
An instant gain of half a million battle power was already more than enough.
Caelum looked toward Zadamor.
"So a person can only eat ten Spirit Fruits in their lifetime?"
"Probably not."
Zadamor shook his head.
"When the Legion searched for information about the Spirit Tree seeds, we uncovered some ancient legends."
"According to those stories, there was once someone in the distant past who planted Spirit Trees across the universe to gain overwhelming power."
"My guess is that the restriction only applies to fruits grown from the same tree."
As he spoke, Zadamor retrieved a seed from the upper interior of the hollow trunk and handed it to Caelum.
"Every Spirit Tree produces exactly one seed after its fruits fully mature."
Caelum immediately understood.
If he planted another Spirit Tree on a different planet, then the new fruits should theoretically continue increasing his battle power.
He picked up a Spirit Fruit and tossed it toward Zadamor.
"Let me see your limit."
"Thank you for the reward, Commander!"
As expected, Caelum’s guess had been correct.
The reason he could consume ten Spirit Fruits was because of his Super Cells.
Before eating the fruits, his normal battle power had only been a little above 30000.
Not much different from Zadamor.
However, Zadamor reached his limit after consuming only two Spirit Fruits.
His battle power increased by merely 100000.
Nowhere near Caelum’s increase of 500000.
"Let’s go."
After taking the Spirit Tree seed, Caelum flew into outer space and obliterated the Spirit Tree with a single blast.
The destroyed fruits dissolved back into pure life force and returned to the planet.
If Spirit Fruits were not eaten immediately after harvesting, the life force within them would quickly dissipate.
There was no practical way to preserve them.
Nor was there any need to.
Caelum had no intention of casually rewarding the Legion officers with Spirit Fruits.
Every one of those aliens was ruthless and cold blooded to the extreme.
Concepts like loyalty and gratitude barely existed among them.
Even if Caelum granted them Spirit Fruits, the only thing they would think about after growing stronger was how to overthrow him and claim the Spirit Tree seed for themselves.
A pack of ungrateful wolves.
Inside the spaceship, the officers watched helplessly as the Spirit Tree was destroyed.
Their hearts ached with frustration and greed.
Not a single one of them had gotten to eat even one fruit.
Back aboard the ship, Caelum naturally sat down in the commander’s seat and swept a cold gaze across the officers.
Everyone lowered their heads immediately.
Under the pressure of Caelum’s aura, they barely dared to breathe.
"I have no use for trash or weaklings."
"If you want Spirit Fruits, then prove your value to me."
The officers secretly glanced toward Zadamor.
They could clearly sense that his aura had become vastly stronger than before.
In fact, it had already surpassed Haynor’s normal state.
The legends were true.
Spirit Fruits really could increase battle power.
And the increase was enormous.
The officers realized this quickly, and their eyes grew increasingly heated.
"Yes, Commander!"
One month later.
A massive spaceship drifted through the boundless darkness of space.
Its design was unmistakable.
The Haynor Legion.
The galaxy was unimaginably vast.
Finding a life bearing planet was incredibly difficult.
Because of that, the Legion regularly worked with information brokers, space pirates, and wandering drifters to obtain planetary intelligence.
Otherwise, they would be forced to wander blindly through the cosmos with little chance of success.
Even if they got lucky and found a living planet eventually, the time cost would be absurd.
Buying information was far more efficient.
After an entire month, the Legion finally obtained coordinates from an information broker.
A life bearing planet with even greater vitality than Dalvabebit.
Its name was Dilva Planet.
Before long, the Haynor Legion’s spaceship arrived in the outer reaches of the planet’s orbit.
On Dilva Planet itself, a middle aged man suddenly opened his eyes.
He stared toward outer space beyond the sky with an extremely grave expression.
"What a terrifying aura..."
His name was Jared.
A player whose starting world had been Dilva Planet.
Because Dilva Planet possessed extraordinarily advanced martial arts and ki cultivation far beyond ordinary worlds, Jared’s battle power had already reached a staggering 20000 despite never leaving his starting planet.
He had become the strongest warrior on Dilva Planet.
20000 battle power unquestionably qualified as planet busting SSS rank strength.
After returning to reality and suffering the standard two rank reduction, he still became an elite S rank powerhouse.
With that strength, he had joined the Arkenfall Disaster Monitoring Bureau Headquarters.
Even among S rank players, he ranked near the top.
But in Super Universe, 20000 battle power was nothing special.
Through internal Bureau intelligence, Jared knew there were monsters within Super Universe far beyond imagination.
But exactly how strong they were remained unclear.
After all, once battle power surpassed 20000, destroying a planet only required a single energy blast anyway.
Whether someone possessed 100000 battle power or 1000000 battle power, the visual result looked roughly the same.
Planet destroyed.
From written reports alone, it was difficult to truly comprehend the gap.
Naturally, Jared lacked any real concept of it.
However, the God of Dilva Planet understood far more about the powerful beings roaming the universe.
Even though both Caelum and Zadamor had concealed their auras, the deity still sharply sensed the presence of those two horrifying powers.
Instantly, terror filled his face.
