Game Invasion: 100x Evolution, From Weak to God
Chapter 68: Crazy Crit Fusion System
Infinite Cursed Energy meant exactly what it sounded like.
Every Sorcerer possessed a limited amount of Cursed Energy. Because of differences in talent, the total reserves varied greatly from person to person.
Infinite Cursed Energy meant being able to unleash techniques endlessly without ever worrying about running dry.
Then there was Heavenly Restriction.
For Sorcerers, it was both a blessing and a curse.
A tiny number of Sorcerers were born with this special constitution, and those who possessed it tended to fall into two extreme categories.
The first type had absolutely no Cursed Energy whatsoever, but in exchange possessed physical abilities more than ten times greater than ordinary Sorcerers, practically human monsters.
The second type was the exact opposite. Frail, sickly, and constantly on the verge of death, yet blessed with Cursed Energy reserves and recovery speeds far beyond normal Sorcerers.
The second cheat option didn’t clearly explain which version of Heavenly Restriction it provided.
Maybe one of them.
Maybe both.
Then there was Crazy Crit Fusion System.
This one immediately caught Caelum’s attention.
Compared to it, the other two cheats looked downright mediocre.
At first glance, the name suggested some sort of fusion system, but after reading the detailed description, it was obvious this thing was basically a bundled package deal of "Crazy Critical Fusion plus System."
The fusion function came first.
As long as Caelum killed or destroyed any target carrying Cursed Energy or techniques, he would obtain fragments.
Those fragments could then be fused into any technique he wanted, or into objects infused with Cursed Energy and jujutsu.
In this world, such items were known as Cursed Tools.
Not only that, but both the fragments and the completed techniques or Cursed Tools could themselves be reused as fusion materials.
Unlimited fusion.
No restrictions whatsoever.
Then there was the System itself.
As for what exactly it contained, that remained unknown for now.
There was no need to think twice.
Caelum chose Crazy Crit Fusion System.
[Crazy Crit Fusion System selected successfully.]
[Enjoy the game.]
Boom!
The System interface exploded apart as several streams of light shot directly into Caelum’s body.
His eyes immediately lit up.
[Obtained Technique: Tenfold Limit Art]
[Obtained Technique: Binding Art, Nameless One]
[Obtained Constitution: Heavenly Restriction, Physical Body]
[Obtained Constitution: Heavenly Restriction, Cursed Energy]
[Obtained Cursed Tool: Special Grade, Nameless Mirror]
"Now that’s insane."
Caelum silently marveled as he felt the overwhelming Cursed Energy inside him alongside the massive boost to his physical body.
The sheer generosity of the System honestly surprised him.
Heavenly Restriction.
He hadn’t even picked that cheat earlier, yet the System had given it to him anyway.
And not just one version.
Both.
That meant Caelum now possessed physical abilities, total Cursed Energy reserves, and recovery speed all exceeding normal Sorcerers by more than ten times.
On top of that, Sorcerers could strengthen their bodies with Cursed Energy.
Using the enormous reserves granted by Heavenly Restriction to reinforce a Heavenly Restriction body...
The result was honestly hard to imagine.
For comparison, if an ordinary person’s physical capability was rated at 1, then a typical Sorcerer using Cursed Energy enhancement might reach 3.
Stronger Sorcerers could reach 5.
Caelum was different.
With Heavenly Restriction, his baseline physical capability already started above 10.
And after amplifying himself with Cursed Energy, it would only climb even higher.
In short, Caelum was about to become monstrously overpowered.
Then there was the Tenfold Limit Art.
This was an absurdly powerful technique.
Because of physical limitations, every Sorcerer had a maximum amount of Cursed Energy they could output in a single instant.
Exceeding that limit would only result in severe self injury.
Tenfold Limit Art completely ignored that restriction.
It allowed Caelum to unleash ten times his maximum output in a single moment, multiplying his destructive power by ten.
Paired with any technique, it would make his attacks devastating.
And honestly, even without techniques, simply relying on Heavenly Restriction alone, Caelum could use Tenfold Limit Art to amplify his body reinforcement to terrifying levels.
At that point, his fists alone could probably beat anyone to death.
Binding Art, meanwhile, was mostly unrelated to Heavenly Restriction.
This was a type of jujutsu many Sorcerers used.
Put simply, a Sorcerer could place a Binding Art upon themselves, sacrificing something in exchange for some kind of benefit.
A contract based technique.
And the restrictions were absolute.
For example, imagine a Sorcerer working a standard nine to five office job.
By placing a Binding Art on themselves, they could weaken their own strength during work hours in exchange for increased power outside those hours.
In that case, from 9 AM to 5 PM, they might only be able to use eighty percent of their strength.
But after 5 PM, until 9 AM the next morning, they could unleash one hundred twenty percent instead.
Caelum’s Binding Art, Nameless One, worked similarly.
Nameless did not literally mean having no name.
It meant remaining unnoticed.
Living quietly.
Avoiding fame.
Becoming someone with no presence.
As part of the binding condition, Caelum could normally only access half of his full strength.
In exchange, the moment he openly revealed his power, all of his abilities would instantly double in effectiveness.
That included both Heavenly Restriction and Tenfold Limit Art.
Everything.
At that point, the maximum output of Tenfold Limit Art would increase from ten times to twenty times.
The Special Grade Cursed Tool, Nameless Mirror, was perfectly designed to work alongside Binding Art, Nameless One.
Like Sorcerer ranks, Cursed Tools were divided into grades.
Special Grade represented the highest level possible.
Nameless Mirror could forcibly interfere with the perception and attention of others.
As long as Caelum wore these black framed glasses, people would subconsciously overlook him.
More importantly, they would fail to recognize his true identity.
Even people who had previously known him personally would be unable to identify him face to face. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
In other words, Caelum could freely fabricate false identities and move unnoticed.
An incredible tool for hiding both identity and presence.
Good stuff.
Caelum pulled the black framed glasses from his pocket and put them on.
Immediately, his presence sharply diminished, though not to an unnatural degree.
It remained subtle enough to avoid attracting suspicion from other Sorcerers.
After all, Nameless Mirror was still only a Cursed Tool.
A sufficiently skilled Sorcerer could naturally resist its perceptual interference.
Which honestly made perfect sense.
Slide.
The classroom door opened.
A serious looking middle aged Sorcerer in formal attire stepped onto the podium and swept his gaze across the three students inside the room.
"Welcome to Astra Cursecraft Academy, the three of you from Alpha Division!"
