Chapter 534: Terrifying Power Of Assassination Skills

Isaac was angry. Incredibly angry. Yet at the same time, he was calm. The rage boiling inside him threatened to overwhelm his thoughts, but he understood something important. If he lost himself to that anger now, he would lose everything. Emily’s pendant was in the enemy’s hands.

The Florathi had already shown that they were willing to use hostages. This wasn’t the time to act recklessly.

"We will give these pendants back. Just give us a moment to bring Eleanor out, then we will return them," the Third Priest said.

Isaac stared at him silently. His expression remained unchanged, but his mind was already moving. While the Third Priest believed they were negotiating, Isaac was issuing commands to the System.

’System, share Emily’s Critical Hit Grandmaster Title!’

Critical Hit Grandmaster Title gained.

An ethereal power flowed through his body almost immediately. However, Isaac did not stop there. A thought had crossed his mind earlier, and now seemed like the perfect opportunity to test it. The System could share upgrade his wives gained from the potions, then share the effect of potion too.

If that was the case, then there was no reason it shouldn’t be able to share the "upgrades" of a Title as well. Emily’s Critical Hit Title had been upgraded four times. If the original Title could be copied, perhaps the "upgrades" versions could be copied too.

’System, share Emily’s upgrade of the Critical Hit Grandmaster Title!’

The System responded at once. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

[Title ’Critical Hit Grandmaster’ has been upgraded to ’Critical Hit Lord.’]

[Title ’Critical Hit Lord’ has been upgraded to ’Critical Hit Saint.’]

[Title ’Critical Hit Saint’ has been upgraded to ’Critical Hit King.’]

[Title ’Critical Hit King’ has been upgraded to ’Critical Hit Sovereign.’]

A terrifying surge of ethereal power erupted from Isaac. His current Title granted a nine percent chance for every attack to deal double damage.

Under normal circumstances, that alone would be considered absurd. However, Isaac had long since surpassed normal standards.

Thanks to Catherine, he possessed Titles for every single stat upto Champion rank. Each one significantly amplified the effectiveness of his stats.

On top of that, Warforged Union continuously harmonized all of his Physiques and ensured that he benefited from the best stat multipliers among them.

Demon King Vessel skill increased all of his stats by twenty percent, while the [Aura] he had cultivated under the Sword Empress now doubled his physical abilities.

Finally, there was the Conqueror Candidate Title, which made every point of strength, agility, vitality, mana, and spirit power twice as effective.

Individually, each enhancement was powerful. Together, they turned Isaac into a monster.

The result was simple. When all of those effects stacked together, Isaac possessed enough raw power to kill an Apex Overlord with a single punch. X-019 had already proven that. The machine wasn’t truly dead, but it had been torn apart so thoroughly that it was effectively removed from the battlefield.

The Florathi immediately sensed the change. Several members stiffened. Others tightened their grip on their weapons. Even without understanding exactly what had happened, they could feel Isaac’s power climbing to a level that made them uncomfortable.

Isaac’s roots burst from the ground and attacked them again while his gaze shifted toward Sera’s battlefield. His expression darkened slightly as he watched the ongoing fight. She was losing. The enemy simply had too many powerful combatants focused on her.

’System, share Oz and Ezekiel!’

Two glowing orbs appeared within his consciousness. Without hesitation, Isaac summoned them.

Space distorted beside him. Moments later, two figures emerged. The East Sea Dragon King and the Dwarf King appeared on the battlefield, both immediately looking around with confusion.

"What is this?" Oz muttered as he examined his surroundings.

Both kings quickly realized something was wrong. They remembered leaving the Great Dungeon. They remembered everything up to that moment. Yet somehow they were standing here now. The conclusion wasn’t difficult to reach.

"I see. We are some kind of clone," Oz said after a moment.

Surprisingly, he didn’t seem bothered. If anything, he appeared interested. Another version of himself could only increase the chances of restoring his kingdom. Ezekiel seemed equally unconcerned. The Dwarf King merely rubbed his beard thoughtfully before accepting the situation. He was happy to have another him to talk about his blacksmithing with.

"We are under attack. Go help Sera. I’ll handle things here. You can use mana as you wish," Isaac said.

Neither king wasted time asking questions. They had survived long enough to recognize an emergency when they saw one. A single glance at the battlefield told them everything they needed to know. Both of them immediately rushed toward Sera’s position.

The Third Priest watched them leave with visible surprise.

"You can clone someone? That’s impressive. It doesn’t even look like it exhausted you."

Isaac didn’t answer. Instead, he checked his mana reserves. Oz and Ezekiel had only been fighting for a few moments, yet the drain was already significant. His mana regeneration was immense thanks to his inflated stats, but the two kings were consuming mana faster than he could recover it.

With that level of expenditure, mana hungry skills such as Dragon Transformation and Domain of War were no longer practical options.

Still, Isaac wasn’t concerned.

Those skills were destructive, but destruction wasn’t always the best solution. Catherine’s abilities lacked the overwhelming spectacle of a transformed dragon or a Domain of War. What they offered instead was efficiency. They were designed to kill.

"It looks like you are confident. Unfortunately, those summons will not help much. The East Sea Dragon King died early in the Apocalypse. He never had the opportunity to grow through the System. As for the Dwarf King, his greatest strength comes from his constructs. Since he was only just summoned, he has none of them," the Third Priest said.

Isaac looked at him for several moments before smiling faintly.

"You seem very confident in your analysis."

"I am."

"So tell me something. Do you think I can kill Elyndra and take those pendants back?" Isaac asked calmly.

"No. You cannot," The Third Priest answered.

Isaac chuckled softly, despite his rage, and reached into his spatial ring.

A sword appeared in his hand. The weapon was Mystic-rank. Artifact ranks were divided into Mortal, Spirit, Mystic, Legendary, and Imperial. There were likely more ranks, but he knew about only up to Imperial rank.

While Mystic rank stood below Legendary, it was still a weapon that most people would never possess in their lifetime.

Unlike many artifacts of its rank, this sword contained no special abilities. It had been forged entirely from Hell-Iron Myre, and its rank came purely from its durability and sharpness.

There were no enchantments woven into the blade and no hidden powers sleeping inside it. It was simply an exceptionally dangerous weapon in the hands of someone strong enough to use it. This meant, in terms of sharpness and durability, it was almost as good as a half-Legendary rank sword.

Isaac raised the sword and pointed it toward Elyndra.

"Three seconds," he said calmly. "You will die in three seconds."

The battlefield reacted instantly. Elyndra wrapped layers of distorted space around herself while the rest of the Florathi team attacked at full power. Spells, curses, and weapons rushed toward Isaac from every direction.

Isaac took a single step and activated Eclipse Dimensional Slip. The skill, obtained from Catherine, allowed him to phase into a void dimension where he could dodge attacks, reposition himself, or instantly appear behind his enemies.
