Chapter 497: Treasure Beneath Fletcher Territory

Seeing Apollo, Grandpa William seemed to take a sigh of relief and quickly dismissed their guests.

Although because of the strength shown by the Fletcher clan, they became famous, and many small clans wanted to join or wanted their protection, he was still under quite a bit of pressure, as he knew his strength and everything he achieved was because of his grandson, so he was never too proud.

Finally seeing his grandson only did it; it fully calmed his nerves, and with Apollo’s presence, he believes everything will be alright. He can handle any troubles.

Those guests and elders from the various forces left before glancing at Apollo.

"Grandpa, it seems you are quite busy." Apollo smiled, looking at his grandpa whose aura at the middle stage of the Void God realm seemed consolidated and even seemed to gain a bit of the aura of a high-ranking leader while handling numerous forces.

"Haha, not bad, right?" Grandpa William laughed.

"But thankfully you finally came out of seclusion. It was becoming exhausting. More and more forces keep arriving, hoping to join us or seek our protection."

Grandpa William sighed, as being famous comes with its troubles.

"Oh, tell me what’s troubling you." Apollo asked as he was confident in his strength. Even now the supremes wouldn’t make their move easily, and besides, supreme and above, he wasn’t afraid of any transcendent being.

"It’s nothing; let me first tell you what happened during these last few months since you went to closed-door training." And then Grandpa William started to tell everything about how the Crystal Dragon Clan young came and then ran away with his tail, and then they became famous. He didn’t hide any detail.

Apollo nodded; he already felt the sword energy during his closed-door training, but he didn’t care, as the sword energy didn’t fully disappear, meaning the enemy was quite weak, so he didn’t come out.

As for the rest, he didn’t care how famous their clan became, as he could now protect his family.

But learning this, he found something interesting: not the young master of the Crystal Dragon clan, but why he wanted to take control of this land. He knew it wouldn’t be for a simple reason, as their Fletcher family were not the super-resourceful land.

Then Apollo remembered. Rion had transformed. As the world evolved, precious treasures and spirit lands could naturally be born.

A thought flashed through his mind.

Immediately, he released his spiritual sense. Invisible waves spread outward at terrifying speed, instantly covering hundreds of miles across the Fletcher territory.

His spiritual sense was terrifying, and instantly everything happening within the Fletcher family seemed to become completely visible to him, and nothing could be hidden from him.

He noticed many new faces from various small forces or the spies sent by different ancient clans. But the strongest was only at a half-step transcendent level; it was nothing to him. He then focused on the land and saw the changes.

There were quite a lot of changes, as some rare treasures seemed to have appeared, but they were at best void-god level and were nothing to ancient clans.

He knew he needed to look deep and quickly focused his spiritual senses far underground.

The deeper he searched, the greater the resistance became.

After Rion’s awakening, the world itself had changed.

The earth carried an invisible suppressive force that pushed spiritual senses upward, preventing warriors from probing too deeply into the world’s core.

Ordinary Transcendents would find it extremely difficult to investigate beneath the surface.

This wasn’t much of a problem, as his spiritual sense was at a supreme level; hence, he could see and search many times more deep than ordinary transcendents.

His consciousness descended layer after layer through the underground world.

Miles passed in an instant.

Then dozens of miles.

Soon he felt something deep within the Fletcher territory, and it wasn’t simple, as he felt a type of mysterious high-level energy. His eyes shone sharply, as it seemed his guess was right.

And quickly Apollo found the source of the first source of mysterious energy, which were naturally the crystal bloodstones. Knowing this, he immediately understood why the young master of the Crystal Dragon clan came here.

This was no ordinary treasure.

Crystal Blood Stones possessed an extremely pure source of crystallised blood essence and were highly beneficial for body strengthening and refinement.

Even Transcendents could use them to strengthen their physical forms.

Although this may not be of much help, as his physical body was among the strongest in the transcendent’s realm, it can still be used as the fuel for using the sovereign cauldron, and he can naturally improve his transcendent divine abilities or even create some new ones.

Now he was looking forward to what kind of treasure would be the second aura he felt.

Compared to the crystal blood stones, that aura was far deeper underground... and far more mysterious.

Apollo focused again.

This time, his spiritual sense pierced even further beneath the earth, descending toward the source of the second energy fluctuation.

And going more deeply, he finally found it, but when he saw what it was, he was a bit shocked, as it was something unbelievable.

Deep underground, an enormous layer of earth had transformed into what looked like an ancient graveyard. Countless bones were scattered everywhere.

Human bones.

Dragon bones.

Divine Beast skeletons.

And remains from numerous unknown races.

The sheer number was unimaginable, as though a catastrophic battle had once taken place there long ago.

Yet what truly drew Apollo’s attention was not the sea of bones but the object at the centre of it all.

A single crystal.

It was only the size of a fist. But the aura it released was something that shocked him. Even just a hint of energy it radiated jolted his mind.

He felt the single crystal seemed to contain such dense energy that even if all the crystal bloodstones above combined, they wouldn’t reach 1% of it. He couldn’t know what happened so that so many ancient races remain buried here, but he knew he needed that single crystal.

That single crystal seemed to be similar to the blood crystal stone, but its value was countless times that of blood crystal stones.
