Chapter 499: Crystal Dragon Clan Learn The Truth

"Yes." Ronan stayed while Max left to bring their clan.

"Come." Apollo then signaled Ronan with a matter of thoughts; they disappeared. And then after a moment, they appeared above a forest.

Ronan was shocked, as he didn’t even feel anything until he appeared directly here.

If Apollo wished to kill him, he probably wouldn’t even understand how he died.

The two descended near the forest.

Apollo looked toward Ronan calmly. "Here it is."

Ronan immediately became serious. He put his hand on the ground and closed his eyes as he seemed to feel something.

Apollo didn’t say anything or stop him, wanting to see what he could do.

Ronan, after a moment of silence, opened his eyes with a shocked experience: "There is indeed something beneath here, and it’s extraordinary. It seemed to be some kind of ore rich in blood energy."

Apollo nodded; it seems they did have ability, and their confidence was not without reason. You have to know the depth at which the crystal blood stones weren’t something a true god can feel. Even a transcendent cannot directly tell what’s beneath unless he has some special treasure.

"Good, you are right. Beneath here is a deposit of crystal blood stones," he told Ronan, who, hearing that they were crystal blood stones, was surprised, as they were very rare and he had only heard about them through some ancient records.

Apollo continued, "Not only that, it seemed that crystal blood stones were locked by terrifying energy and could explode if they weren’t mined in the proper way."

Only then did Ronan fully understand the real difficulty.

Apollo, hearing this, a smile appeared on his face, and he couldn’t help but nod. As it looks like they were quite talented and worth taking the risk of offending some ancient clans, which he might know later, the first most important thing was to mine this land.

Quickly, within a few hours, other members of the Mitri clan joined and began the process of mining. They needed to do a lot of work and would need a week or two, which he can wait for.

While everything was going well in the Fletcher family, trouble was brewing somewhere else.

Deep within a vast forest overflowing with treasures stood a towering city hidden inside a gigantic valley.

At the center of that city rose a magnificent palace. Inside one of its halls, several imposing figures had gathered.

"Balerion, you are the Young Master of the Crystal Dragon Clan," a towering man roared furiously.

He stood nearly ten feet tall, draconic scales covering his arms and back while a terrifying killing aura filled the hall.

"And yet you were beaten like a stray dog and forced to flee?!"

"You’ve disgraced the Crystal Dragon Clan!"

The one that roared was the current clan leader of the crystal dragon, Ignis, and was the father of the young master Balerion of the crystal dragon clan. His expectations for his youngest son had always been immense. After all, the boy possessed the greatest talent seen within their clan for generations.

"Father, it’s not like I can do anything. That mysterious attack was terrifying; it was definitely from Transcendent and not an ordinary one at that. It almost destroyed the ancestor’s secret relic and killed me instantly."

The young master Balerion said in frustration, as he didn’t expect the news of him would reach the clan. He, after being seriously injured, didn’t immediately return, not wanting to show his disgraced situation.

He spent months hiding outside to slowly heal most of the injuries before finally coming back. But who knows? The news of him being crushed at Fletcher’s family spread through the Rion.

The mere thought filled him with rage.

In his mind, the Fletcher family had to be responsible for leaking the news. Killing intent exploded within him.

He wanted to slaughter every single member of the Fletcher family without leaving anyone alive. But right now his own situation was already miserable enough.

"Now tell me why you went there." The clan leader then finally asked, which piqued everyone’s interest in the hall.

They all know it had to be some reason for him to visit Fletcher territory, which was just an insignificant corner of Rion. Why would the young master personally travel there?

The young master clenched his fists tightly before finally speaking through gritted teeth.

"One of my servants discovered a hidden Crystal Blood Stone mine within their territory."

The moment he told the truth, everyone’s expression changed, as the crystal bloodstones were very important for their clan.

"What! You say there is a crystal bloodstone mine hidden in that corner of the land?" The clan leader, Ignis, quickly asked, as this was big news.

His voice no longer carried anger alone.

Now it contained shock.

And greed.

"Yes! Are you certain?"

"Why didn’t you report such important information immediately?"

"Young Master, do you understand what Crystal Blood Stones mean to our clan?!" The elders within the hall erupted into discussion instantly.

Faced with the questioning gazes of the elders, Balerion’s expression darkened.

Finally, he looked toward his father and spoke. "It was a famous treasure that showed signs and should be true, and not to mention it didn’t make sense for such a strong force to stay at such an insignificant corner of Rion."

"Those from the Fletcher family should know that land contained Crystal blood stones which is why they stayed in such a corner."

The hall became silent as Balerion’s words weren’t wrong and made sense.
