Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence
Chapter 360 - 332: The Black King’s Magical Beast Tide
The blade pointed straight at the chaotic black tide ahead.
"On my command, the entire army will charge."
Raylo’s command was like a giant stone thrown into a lake, sending ripples across the entire battlefield.
"BWAAAH!"
A deep Horn blast echoed, seeming to shake the very earth.
The first to respond were the forty Mammoth Knights and twenty Earth Dragon Knights.
The earth began to tremble violently, as if an invisible giant were beating the ground like a drum.
The bodies of the Mammoth Giant Elephants, covered in Heavy Armor, were like mobile fortresses. They lowered their heads, aiming their two tusks—honed like battering rams—straight ahead.
The Earth Dragons crouched low, their thick limbs pawing at the ground. Their hard Scale Armor scraped and threw off sparks.
The Hill Giants let out exhilarated roars. They no longer had to suppress their battle instincts.
Their heavy footfalls left deep prints in the earth. Taking huge strides and brandishing their Wolf Fang Clubs, they charged to meet the black tide.
Just then, a white figure leaped from Raylo’s shoulder, landing lightly on the head of Storm Griffin King Baofeng.
Moonlight perched on Baofeng’s broad head, overlooking the entire battlefield. A silver light flared for an instant in its pale golden eyes.
There was no Spell, no Array—only an invisible wave of Magic Power spreading out like a ripple.
In the next moment, a miracle occurred on the battlefield.
Beside every Mammoth Giant Elephant and Earth Dragon, the air distorted. Light and shadow converged, and a Giant Beast, identical to the original, materialized out of thin air.
These Phantom Clones, formed from Magic Power, were indistinguishable from their real counterparts—from their running gait and the dust they kicked up, to their oppressive auras.
The sixty terrifying War Giant Beasts had their numbers doubled in an instant.
The visual impact of this charging mass of one hundred and twenty Giant Beasts was instantly elevated to a breathtaking degree.
Visible chaos erupted within the Demon army, which moments before had been roaring wildly. The Jackal-Wolf Folk at the vanguard even slowed their pace subconsciously.
This impossible sight caused even the Black Dragon high in the sky to falter for a moment.
Behind the Giant Beasts and Giants, the cavalry formations of Black Stone Territory began their advance.
Thousands of warhorses advanced at a steady pace, their hooves striking the ground in a unified rhythm, converging into a torrent of steel.
At the head of the formation was Black Stone Territory’s sharpest spear.
The hundred-Knight squadrons of the Moonlight Knight Order and the Thunder Dragon Knight Order.
They were fully clad in exquisitely crafted Plate Armor. They held their lances angled toward the sky, the black tassels on the tips whipping in the wind.
「In the sky.」
Six Sky Dragons, their bodies far larger than ordinary Griffins, raised their heads, let out a long cry, and soared into the air. Their azure scales shimmered in the sunlight.
Thirty Griffin Knights followed close behind, spreading their wings and swiftly gaining an advantageous altitude.
Over three hundred Pegasus Knights, organized in small squads, weaved nimbly between the formations of Sky Dragons and Griffins. They held shields in one hand, their other hands already gripping Javelins that glinted coldly.
At the very rear of the aerial force, Ailia ascended with twenty Pegasus Mages.
The Magic Staffs in their hands emitted a faint magical glow, and Wind Elements danced cheerfully around them. The light at the tips of their staves grew brighter and brighter, ready to unleash a torrent of Magic upon the enemy at a moment’s notice.
The Black King’s army finally reacted.
On the ground, tens of thousands of Jackal-Wolf Folk, Kobolds...
All sorts of Demons mingled together, letting out a cacophony of ear-piercing shrieks. Driven by bloodlust, they charged heedlessly to meet the devastating assault.
Among this cannon fodder, hundreds of tall, muscle-bound Ogres brandished enormous Wolf Fang Clubs, forming the core of the assault.
Dozens of equally savage Earth Dragons were mixed in among them, letting out low roars as they prepared to clash head-on with Raylo’s army.
In the sky, the Black King’s personal guard also made their move.
Four massive Bat Dragons spread their membranous wings, let out silent shrieks, and led dozens of Wind Blade Griffins in a dive.
The black cloud formed by thousands of Fire Demon Crows descended like a vast curtain, filling the air with the mixed stench of sulfur and char.
It was as if time itself stretched thin.
The next moment, the two colossal armies—on the ground and in the sky—crashed into each other.
BOOM!
The first great crash came from the ground.
The Giant Kado led the charge, his twenty-meter-long, giant Wolf Fang Club sweeping out and instantly reducing dozens of Jackal-Wolf Folk to a gory pulp.
The Phantom Clones of the Mammoth Giant Elephants crashed into the enemy ranks first, sending hordes of Jackal-Wolf Folk and Kobolds—none of whom even reached the height of the elephants’ legs—flying.
A few Demon Jackals mixed in the horde attempted a sneak attack, only to be trampled into flat pancakes of blood and shredded flesh.
A real Mammoth Giant Elephant followed close behind, plunging its tusks deep into an Ogre’s chest. The immense force of the impact launched the creature high into the air.
The Earth Dragons collided violently with their enemy counterparts. Claws and fangs tore madly, sending scales flying as bodies were reduced to a bloody pulp.
The collision in the sky was just as fierce.
"Loose!"
Hundreds of Javelins from the Pegasus Knights rained down, accurately piercing the flock of Fire Demon Crows below.
Amid a cacophony of caws, Fire Demon Crows tumbled from the sky in droves.
Immediately after, the twenty Pegasus Mages raised their Magic Staffs in unison.
