Girl Hero: Revenge on Goblins!
Chapter 1173: Give Me a Pair of Wings
Capítulo 1173: Give Me a Pair of Wings
Although as the floors rise, or rather descend, the artificial traces of the dungeon become increasingly faint, and the traces of Magic Creatures become gradually denser, for a group led by a Legendary Knight, this depth of the floor is not much different from a picnic outside the city.
As for the Noble, who has recently risen to fame, leading a team composed of a Nun and a Thief, they haven’t attracted any probing, only occasionally some novices just starting out watch them leave with envy and longing, without the slightest perception of the faintly menacing atmosphere within this small team.
“Do you mean, every time you go down a floor, you can receive a blessing like just now?”
After confirming that the Mute Girl could actually receive the Blessing of the Dungeon, the Shield Woman’s remaining composure disappeared, her tone full of shock and gravity.
“Of course.” The Mute Girl glanced at her, lips curved without opening, and a playful voice sounded directly in the Shield Woman’s ear, “But, although I’ve reserved you, we’re not teammates yet.
“Blatantly probing the enemy’s intelligence like this, is this your chivalry?”
The Shield Woman was slightly taken aback, then lightly shook her head.
“Although you are indeed a threat, I don’t consider you an enemy.” Seeing the Mute Girl’s confusion, she continued to explain, “Our present antagonism is ultimately just a conflict of positions.
“You have no intent to kill us, and between the Divine Basin teachings and the Church, there’s not inherently a mortal conflict. Even if you were to pass the intelligence out, most siblings wouldn’t die because of it…”
She sighed softly, then spoke heavily, “But for them, it would still be an unbearable outcome. So, I must stop you.
“As for the threat you pose, as long as it’s neutralized, namely erasing your memory, there’d naturally be no reason for us to continue opposing.”
“Sounds pleasant enough.” The Mute Girl snorted softly.
The Shield Woman did not refute her, just slightly bowed her head.
“However, for probing intelligence without permission, I offer my apology.”
“You’re really so formal. Are you really an Otherworldly person?” Seeing this, the Mute Girl showed some helplessness, “In my impression, Otherworldly People are all reckless, relying on their Growth abilities.”
Even though this bore an evident prejudice, even slander, the Shield Woman did not become angry, simply responded seriously: “As you guessed, I have almost no past memories, nor can I confirm if those people you mentioned come from the same world as I do.
“However, since I gained Newborn life in this world, I want to stick to the path I believe is right, to choose a way of living I approve of.”
“Haha, I don’t dislike such an attitude, just sometimes the road you think is right, the destination might not be what you want.”
“… I will handle this cautiously.”
Thus, they step into the third level of the Land of Starlessness. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

‘Seeker of knowledge, this is a trial, please offer your findings, to demonstrate the wisdom and way forward.’
Stepping into this floor, unlike the first two levels where an oracle and blessing appeared directly, instead at the moment they entered, a page with a faint sheen silently floated in the air, inscribed with a simple yet deeply significant line of text.
The Catcher squinted at those words, even the Shield Woman couldn’t help but cast an exploring gaze.
“Does this mean we have to submit papers like in the Knowledge Hall of the Capital?”
Hearing the Shield Woman’s muttering, the Mute Girl raised her eyebrows with a hint of surprise, “You actually know that? I thought you, being an Otherworldly person, always mixed in the Ancient City, only knowing about dungeons.”
“I also try to understand this world,” the Shield Woman said hesitantly, “And… I have a vague feeling like I’ve done something similar before, which was very hard.”
“I’m not interested in your past.” The Mute Girl waved dismissively, “Though, this isn’t as complicated as you think.”
She glanced around, then her eyes brightened, snapping her fingers.
“Oh, conveniently, there are a few Goblins over there. Little ones, attack!”
“Big Sister, the word ‘ones’ is a bit redundant.”
The Catcher scratched his head, yet his form flickered, merging into the shadows.
No screams, just a few faint tearing sounds, those Goblins almost simultaneously fell.
Though he specialized in intelligence, as a Second Transformation Thief, handling a few shallow Goblins was more than sufficient.
And before the blood could spread, the fallen Goblins’ corpses began to disintegrate perceptibly, turning into black dust, silently swallowed by the dungeon.
When the Catcher reappeared, his hand already held a handful of fragmented Magic Stones.
“Good.” The Mute Girl reached out with satisfaction, accepting these spoils.
It’s not all demons yield Magic Stones upon being defeated, especially Low-level Demons.
But the Magic Creatures within dungeons are mostly not naturally bred, but are ‘Followers’ nurtured by the dungeon itself.
Thus, regardless of how low-level the beings — including Slimes and Goblins — once defeated, they would inevitably condense Magic Stones.
Meanwhile, since aside from Magic Stones, Low-level Demons usually have almost no other valuable, or in other words, magic power-infused parts, their flesh is rapidly decomposed upon loss of life.
Only the corpses of High-tier Magic Creatures can somewhat resist such decomposition, leaving behind fragments of precious materials, though, even then, blood or flesh is rarely retained.
