Global Game: Developing a Knight Clan
Chapter 289 - 9: Submission of the Intelligent Mechanism, Ambition for a Tier Two Civilization
Are you kidding me?
Even Intelligent Mechanism Anita was struggling to maintain her composure as she witnessed the creature descending like a blazing sun.
Flames erupted from the void.
Terrifying waves of Energy rippled outward, radiating in all directions.
He hadn’t unleashed any of his Power, yet the sheer heat waves and radiation emanating from his body—like a blazing sun—had already caused the temperature of the surrounding space to skyrocket to nearly ten thousand degrees Celsius.
At that moment, even the twenty-eight Deities nearby were forced to deploy Barriers of Divine Power to block the terrifying heat.
The weaker Deities, concerned about wasting their Divine Power, had no choice but to retreat to a safer distance.
"Is this him?"
"Is he supposed to be a Space Dragon? This is clearly the Power of a Fiery Sun Dragon!"
The surrounding Deities stared at the scene in utter astonishment.
One after another, they turned their gazes to the God of Truth.
The God of Truth, in turn, looked both helpless and baffled.
After all, when he had first encountered Lince, the dragon hadn’t displayed this kind of Power.
"Don’t look at me like that. I’m as much in the dark as you are."
"However, judging by the current situation, I suspect he has obtained the legacies of three Ancient Dragons at once."
"The Master of Truth... He is truly filled with boundless Mighty Power, to be able to concentrate three different Ancient Powers into a single being."
"What’s more, judging from his current state, just by achieving the status of an Ancient God, his physique already rivals that of the original Space Dragon."
"The only question is whether that physique comes with equivalent, or even greater, strength."
The God of Truth conveyed this to the other Deities via telepathy.
The Deities glanced at one another, their eyes filled with envy as they looked at the Giant Dragon.
’An Ancient Life form with the Power of several Bloodlines fused into one?’
’Is that something an ordinary being could accomplish?’
At least, the beings of the Oakland Continent wouldn’t dare dream of such a thing.
Take mortals, for instance. Any one of them who tried to integrate a Bloodline would risk their body exploding, leading to certain death.
And that risk only grows more severe at higher stages of power.
Over the long years, it was impossible that none of the Deities had researched Bloodlines.
But once one became a Deity, their potential was essentially set in stone.
Therefore, the only real opportunity to do so was during the mortal stage.
But mortal bodies were far too frail. Thus, it was a vicious cycle.
The Deities had long since reached this conclusion.
Therefore, upon learning that Lince had likely obtained the Power of three Dragon Race Bloodlines—Ancient Power, no less...
...one could only imagine the envy and shock these Deities were currently feeling.
However, at this very moment, regardless of what these Deities were thinking...
...the Fiery Sun Giant Dragon continued to struggle as if breaking free from the shackles of Space, ’squeezing’ the rest of its massive body into view.
And so.
Under the watchful eyes of the twenty-eight Deities and Intelligent Brain Anita...
...the behemoth, measuring five thousand kilometers from head to tail, fully manifested in this world.
Its form was immense but not bloated.
Its long tail was like a blade that could pierce spacetime. With just a casual flick, fiery rifts seemed to tear through the dark expanse of Space.
What did five thousand kilometers from head to tail even mean?
On Blue Star, that length would already exceed the diameter of the Moon.
And given the physique of the Dragon Race, even without coiling his body, the mass of his upper body alone was comparable to that of the Moon.
For such a behemoth to suddenly appear in the void of space, one could only imagine how visually staggering it was.
And now...
The Giant Dragon gazed down upon the vastness of space.
He saw the nearby Intelligent Mechanism Star.
He also saw the surrounding Deities, and even the distant Starships and swarms of unmanned machines.
Finally, the Giant Dragon sent out a telepathic message.
"Now, I imagine you know what choice to make."
"Of course, you could also choose to fight to the death, but I doubt you could bear the consequences."
The Deities could not hear this voice.
After all, Lince was using the authority granted by the True Game to speak directly to the Intelligent Brain, which existed in digital space.
Like a piece of code, a stream of information.
The voice flowed directly into Intelligent Brain Anita’s consciousness.
And as he transmitted this message, Lince didn’t remain idle.
With a mere thought...
The next moment, a dense web of ripples suddenly appeared around the hulls of the numerous Starships up ahead.
The instant the ripples spread out...
...each and every one of the Starships was partitioned into a transparent, box-like cage of Space.
Simultaneously, Intelligent Brain Anita’s connection to all of these Starships was severed.
This was the ultimate expression of an overwhelming attack by a being from an Extraordinary World against a purely technological civilization.
Anita watched the scene unfold, not responding immediately.
Instead, she focused on the data streaming in from her various sensors.
[Detection: High concentrations of X-rays, gamma rays, and high-energy particle streams surging in the entity’s vicinity.]
[Entity’s surface temperature is approximately thirteen thousand degrees Celsius. Core temperature is unquantifiable. Based on its volume, it is unlikely to reach the core temperature of the Sun. One million degrees is the probable limit.]
[Entity exceeds all parameters for known carbon-based life forms in the data archives. Alternate classification: High-Energy Particle Stream Entity or Mythological-Type Entity.]
