Since Saints don’t need to eat or drink, the two quickly activated their bodies in this new world through their Spiritual connection.

It was only then that the two of them discovered something.

In their original bodies, back in their own world, they still possessed the Soul Spirituality of beings who had not yet undergone Ascension to Divinity.

Two worlds, two bodies, and two independent souls that shared the same Spirituality.

This was their current state of being.

Indeed, in the other world, Adelaide and Sophie had achieved Ascension to Divinity.

But those divine beings were them, and yet, not them.

In any case, the sensation was utterly bizarre.

’Avatars of Deities? Can Deities even create avatars?’

That was clearly impossible—at least, according to the rules of the Cosmos and Star Realm in the Karte universe.

This was because once a Deity underwent Ascension to Divinity, their Soul Spirituality would merge with their Divine Format.

A Divine Format was singular. Furthermore, the Divine Format—which embodied the status of a Deity—was inextricably linked to the native Mana Will of each planet and world, making it absolutely indivisible.

So, when this situation occurred, the two of them were naturally overjoyed.

They even had a feeling that if their Half-Bodies in both worlds succeeded in their Ascension to Divinity, it would bring them benefits beyond their wildest imaginations.

To that end, after awakening in the ruined overseas Underground City, the two began to actively gather information about the current state of the world.

And so, as "old zombies" who had been buried beneath the ruins for over five hundred years, they were discovered.

They were quickly discovered by the Sea Race. After a series of inquiries, they successfully received confirmation of their identities at one of the Empire’s offices stationed in the various Religious Countries.

Indeed, their identities were confirmed based on information provided by local inhabitants, including a Saint Tier entity from Coral Island.

As Saints of a Divine King, their identities were quickly confirmed.

Thus, after just a brief inquiry, the two became honored members of the Empire.

They even successfully joined the Professional Association of the Celtic People.

They were also fortunate enough to be invited to attend the founding ceremony of the Star Empire.

That was the sum of their experiences.

Less than half a year had passed since their awakening.

During that half-year, the two learned in detail about the horrifying history of the Giant Demon invasion and the fall of the Deities.

They also heard the "sacred history" of the Dragon God, who had brought the dawn of civilization, defeated the Giant Demons, and forced them to abandon this world, even making them sign a divine pact with the Star Empire.

In short, during that half-year, the two had been learning everything they could about the Star Empire, including its ally, the Karte World.

However, the information they could obtain was limited to what was publicly available.

Thus, in this state of uncertainty, and while still recovering from their long, debilitating slumber, the two boarded a ship to the Imperial Capital.

Now, gazing upon the magnificent sight of the Star Empire’s Imperial Capital before them and seeing Sophie’s proud expression, Adelaide could only shake his head.

"Forget it. It’s too early to discuss this."

"Let’s enter the city and see the ceremony first. In any case, we first need to find out just how powerful this world’s so-called Dragon God really is."
