The threat in their voices was unmistakable.

However, He’an’s composure was well-founded.

Having reached Tier Eight, also known as the High Tier, He’an possessed many powerful items from the True Game. He even had three items that were genuinely of the Saint Tier.

Forget seven minutes; he was confident he could last for at least half an hour without any trouble.

Therefore, despite the pressure from their threats, He’an didn’t feel a significant sense of crisis.

And so, the next moment, He’an put on a theatrically surprised expression.

"Visit your home, you say?"

"Well, gentlemen, I’m sure you’ve noticed."

"I’m a member of the Human Race, after all. And while I may have some power, I wouldn’t dare venture into a den of Vampires."

"So, if you two truly possess the grace of a host, why not have our discussion right here?"

"For instance, aren’t you curious about my purpose here, or even about the existence of the Star Empire?"

It must be said, He’an’s response was perfectly calculated.

Although it risked angering the two Blood Race Princes, his final words were clearly designed to arouse their curiosity.

However, as ancient beings who had lived for untold ages, the two Blood Race Princes could naturally see through He’an’s attempt to stall for time.

And so, the two Blood Race Princes exchanged a smile.

"Boy, don’t bother using those stalling tactics on a couple of old-timers like us."

"So, your confidence comes from your so-called Star Empire, does it? Or perhaps you’re still hoping the Deities backing you can enter our world?"

"How rather amusing."

"In a world controlled by His Majesty, the Blood God, your so-called Deities have absolutely no chance of making their Descent into our realm without His Majesty’s permission."

As Blood Race Prince Anos spoke, he cast a peculiar glance down at Damian City below.

"Boy, if we’re not mistaken, your Deities are using the so-called Power of Faith to anchor themselves to our world, correct?"

"Crude. So very crude."

"With a method that crude, the commotion you previously caused in the border city of Brighton was enough for us to surmise your general plan."

"You have Deities backing you? And you think we don’t? We’ve truly been underestimated."

Hearing the Blood Race Prince’s words, He’an looked genuinely stunned.

But then he remembered that the Adams Empire was also a nation under the Blood God, and it all clicked into place.

And so, with a look of mild surprise, he asked,

"So, are you two saying that you’ve known all along about everything we’ve been doing in Damian City?"

"And that this current situation is simply the result of you allowing it to happen?"

The moment He’an’s voice fell, the two Blood Race Princes erupted in laughter.

"What do you think, boy?"

"Our world has been sealed for far too long. Even though His Majesty the Blood God can travel to the outside, worlds with life are incredibly difficult to find. It left His Majesty feeling rather at a loss for where to begin."

"And now, we’ve finally discovered a world that also happens to have the Human Race. So, what do you suppose His Majesty’s thoughts on the matter are?"

"So, boy, did you really think you were being covert?"

"Or did you think your stalling tactics were so very clever?"

At this, Blood Royal Prince Zeverin Madison looked at He’an with the air of a seasoned elder and said,

"You boy—no, to be precise, everything you three youngsters have done, while crude, was at least a passable effort."

"But, I have to say, you three youngsters are still far too green. Before your reinforcements have even arrived—or rather, just as they’re about to—you’re already impatient to enjoy the spoils of victory."

"That kind of behavior is truly laughable."

"So, boy, out with it. How much longer until your people—or your Deities—can open the Star Road to our world?"

"It’s fine, go ahead and tell us. As long as it’s not too much longer, we don’t mind chatting with you for a while."

"But if it’s too long, then as we said before, we’ll just have to invite you youngsters to be our guests for a while."

He’an fell silent.

At the same time, a wave of resignation washed over him.

’So that’s why it’s been so easy to preach in Damian’s world for the past two years,’ he thought.

’Was this whole thing just a mutually-agreed-upon farce from the very beginning?’

’If I had known, what was the point of us hiding and skulking around all this time?’

’We could have just shown our hand to the Blood Race.’

But as he thought about it, He’an also realized just how much faith the Blood Race had in their Blood God.

’They didn’t even ask about the state of the Star Empire.’

’Is it out of ignorant arrogance?’

’Or is it because they themselves are truly that powerful?’

’So powerful that they believe no civilization can be their match?’

But in terms of worldly power alone, He’an was certain the Blood Race was no match for the Star Empire. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Of course, He’an also recalled the bizarre phenomenon of this world—the way the very ground seemed to drink blood.

’So, is it possible that as soon as people from the Star Empire set foot on this planet, their powers would also be sealed and suppressed?’

’If that’s really the case... how wonderful.’

’The Empire’s Intelligent Mechanism technology will finally have its day!’
