After hearing the lion's words, Lin Fan wasn't nervous at all. He held a cigarette between two fingers and said, "Don't resist, let them board the ship!"

Instead, the lion and Mouse looked puzzled upon hearing the rugged man's address.

"Who sent you?" Lin Fan asked.

Since the rugged man knew Lin Fan's identity, their arrival was definitely under orders!

"Minister Yang sent us. Minister Yang said that once we see Major General Lin, we should contact him!" replied the rugged man.

"Minister Yang?"

Upon hearing these words, Lin Fan immediately thought of Yang Feng!

Lin Fan said, "Give me the phone."

The rugged man hesitated not one bit, quickly handing his phone to Lin Fan.

There was no signal at sea, so Lin Fan had to use the military phone to dial Yang Feng's number.

Quickly, the call connected, and Yang Feng's voice came through: "Mr. Lin?"

"It's me!" Lin Fan nodded and said.

"Mr. Lin, it's wonderful to hear your voice!" Yang Feng said excitedly, laughing.

"You know about the East Asian situation?" Lin Fan asked.

"Yes! The information came from the safety bureau division over there. We determined that Mr. Lin would certainly travel by water, so Elder Long had me send people to assist you!" Yang Feng said truthfully.

"I really didn't expect that old man to still have such thoughtfulness, it's rare indeed!" Lin Fan laughed, though he still felt some gratitude towards the old Dragon King in his heart!

"Since Mr. Lin is okay, please return to the country with the patrol boats. They will safely escort Mr. Lin to Fujian. Once Mr. Lin arrives in Fujian, please proceed to Yanjing as soon as possible; Elder Long wants to see you." Yang Feng said.

"Alright, tell that old man to wait for me to come over." Lin Fan said, then hung up the phone and handed it back to the rugged man!

Afterward, the rugged man respectfully said, "Mr. Lin, please come with us!"

"Sure!" Lin Fan nodded.

Then, the rugged man led his men back to their patrol ship. Two patrol ships, one in front and one behind, sandwiched Lin Fan's ship in between, tightly guarding it, and started heading towards Fujian!

With two patrol ships protecting him, Lin Fan relaxed, and couldn't help but think: having a country is really great!

Over the past few days, Lin Fan had indeed been exhausted, so he comfortably slept on the ship. When he woke up, it was already daylight, and Lin Fan and his party's vessel had docked at the Fujian shore!

Under the rugged man's protection, Lin Fan and his companions then disembarked, handing them over to another military unit.

Under layers of strict security, Lin Fan and his companions safely arrived at the airport. However, Lin Fan did not let Meina accompany him to Yanjing, but rather had her and others go to his sect instead. Lin Fan arranged for someone from his sect to pick them up, while he himself went to Yanjing!

At this point, Yang Feng walked out from the house, saw Lin Fan, and came up smiling, thereby easing Lin Fan's embarrassment!

"Elder Long is waiting for you inside!" Yang Feng replied, smiling.

"Let's go inside!" Lin Fan nodded, then took the lead and walked into the house!

The Dragon King's robust frame was still lying on a recliner. Upon seeing Lin Fan, his rugged face immediately showed a trace of a smile.

It's fortunate that the Dragon King's subordinates didn't witness this scene, or they would have been shocked, as they never expected the intimidating Dragon King to reveal such a gratifying smile.

"Kid, you're finally back!" the Dragon King said, smiling.

"Why? Were you hoping I'd die?" Lin Fan rolled his eyes, casually dragged a chair over to sit down, grabbed a pack of special Panda cigarettes on the table, stuck one into his mouth, lit it, and took a deep inhale!

Seeing this, the Dragon King chuckled bitterly, pointing a finger at Lin Fan, saying, "You brat, the old man helped you so much, yet you still mock me. If I'd known, I wouldn't have sent anyone to protect you!"

"Haha! Old man, speaking of the patrol ship escort and being guarded by the military all the way, it was really enjoyable. Get me more of such treatment next time, I'll then take some pictures to post online, it would surely be impressive!" Lin Fan said with a laugh.

"Nonsense! Are soldiers meant to be impressive?" the Dragon King retorted.

"When I joined the army as a young man, it was entirely for defending the country, yet... wearing the uniform and leading troops in combat... was quite impressive!"

The Dragon King reminisced about his glorious youth years, which made him smile involuntarily!

"Isn't that right? Isn't it all about showing off for girls? Cut to the chase, old man, why did you call me here?"

Lin Fan shrugged his shoulders and asked freely.
