The Space Tower’s Elders believed that because Li Wei was the last one alive in the Secret Realm, the Secret Realm Spirit had credited him with all the Points generated from the creatures that died in the Forbidden Curse.

Originally, many wanted to erase Li Wei’s Points to negate their impact on the rankings.

But thanks to the reasoned arguments of the Elemental Tower’s Elder, Li Wei’s Points were ultimately included.

Harris looked at the Elemental Tower’s total Points, which far surpassed the other four top Mage Towers, and a wide, happy smile spread across his face.

Under normal circumstances, the Elemental Tower probably would have only placed second or third.

The Summoning Tower, on the other hand, leveraged their numerical advantage to secure a good third-place finish.

In the past, the Summoning Tower and the Alchemy Tower usually vied for fourth and fifth place.

If the Alchemy Tower ever ranked first, it would have to be because they were the ones hosting the exchange competition.

The Mage Tower rankings determined the prize pool.

The Elemental Tower, ranking first, received the best prize pool.

As the Mage with the most Points in the Elemental Tower, Li Wei, in turn, received the top prize from the best prize pool.

Harris looked at Li Wei, a broad smile on his face, and said, "Li Wei, congratulations on earning the opportunity to read the Book of Truth."

A surprised expression appeared on Li Wei’s face. "The Book of Truth?"

He had originally thought the prize would be the chance to learn a Magic spell from any of the top Mage Towers.

Harris nodded. "The Book of Truth records Magic Truth and the Rules of the world. It is kept by the president of the Magic Association."

"Reading the Book of Truth gives you a chance to face Magic Truth directly. What you gain from it will depend on your own comprehension."

"Seize this opportunity. Once you miss it, it will be very difficult to ever touch Magic Truth again."

Harris urged him earnestly.

Li Wei asked in confusion, "Isn’t the exchange competition held once a year? Doesn’t that mean whoever gets first place every year has a chance to read the Book of Truth?"

Hearing this, Harris froze for a moment and shot Li Wei a glare.

’Do you really have no self-awareness? If I hadn’t argued against everyone to get this chance for you, do you really think you could have earned the opportunity to read the Book of Truth on your own merits?’

Harris only thought this to himself, not saying it out loud.

He nodded with a half-smile and said, "That’s right. You’re not wrong."

"Keep it up. Go for it again next year. I’ve got high hopes for you."

Li Wei felt his tone was a bit strange.

It seemed a little sarcastic.

’Whatever. I’ll just ignore it. The important thing is to secure the reward first.’

Li Wei said, "Elder Harris, so when can we go to the Magic Association?"

Harris asked, puzzled, "Why go to the Magic Association?"

Li Wei looked at him. "Isn’t the Book of Truth in the hands of the Magic Association’s president?"

Harris’s face cleared with understanding. "Oh, that. You don’t need to go. The president of the Magic Association will be sending the Book of Truth to the Space Tower shortly."

"Oh, okay. I see."

The others also received their corresponding rewards based on their Point rankings.

After everyone’s rewards were distributed,

the Grand Elder of the Space Tower summoned Li Wei to the Seventh Floor.

The Book of Truth would be temporarily transported to the Seventh Floor.

Li Wei would have one chance to read the Book of Truth.

Once he finished reading, the Book of Truth would disappear.

He continued to explain, "But how do you think the Book of Truth presents Magic Truth to you?"

Li Wei asked quizzically, "Through words? Symbols?"

Harris said, "No. It shows you the world in its truest form. Whether or not you can comprehend how the real world operates—that is up to you."

He pointed to their surroundings. "Look at these stones used to build the tower. Don’t you think they also contain the way the world works?"

"Magic Truth exists within these stones, but it is obscured by their outward appearance, making it difficult for us to touch the essence of the Magic Truth they contain."

"The Book of Truth, however, will reveal all the properties, essences, Rules, and transformations contained within these stones right before your eyes."

"Whether you can comprehend the deepest truths and essences they contain, however, depends on you."

"The Book of Truth is not Magic Truth itself. Magic Truth is in every corner of the world."

Hearing this, Li Wei seemed to understand, yet not fully.

Magic Truth is the operational Rule of the world, and everything contains this operational Rule.

A blade of grass, a flower, a grain of sand, a drop of water, a wisp of wind...

Anyone can see these things, yet no one can see through to the illusory and intangible Magic Truth within them.

Li Wei pondered for a moment. Just before stepping through the doors to the main hall on the Seventh Floor, he asked one final question.

"What exactly is the Book of Truth?"

Harris countered with a question of his own: "Have you ever heard of the Book of Genesis?"

Li Wei was taken aback for a second. "I have. But what does the Book of Truth have to do with the Book of Genesis?"

Harris smiled. "Legend has it that at the dawn of the world, three books were born from the chaos, recording the world’s past, present, and future."

"The Book of Genesis, which records the past; the Book of Truth, which records the present; and the Book of Destruction, which records the future."
