A creature with bat-like wings and an ashen humanoid body that looked drained of all blood. Its claws looked sharper than steel, razor teeth protruded from the mouth. The creature’s blood-red eyes glinted with... intelligence.

However, the strangest trait of it was definitely the head.

The head resembled that of a sledge hammer but looked much more durable and destructive.

Allen instantly knew that this was the Undead that attacked him, throwing him off balance with its hammer head.

’System, that is a Grade Three Undead, right?’ Allen asked inwardly.

It was more of a statement than a question as he was 99% sure that it was.

[Affirmative.]

The System’s agreement only confirmed his suspicion as he glared at the Grade Three Undead with renewed vigilance.

While Allen looked at the translucent panel that notified him of a new quest and quickly tried to come up with a plan to take down the Undead, the System’s voice rang inside his head once again.

[The Grade Three Undead, also known as Hammerclaw, is a creature that can fly at high speeds due to the bat-like wings on its back. Its claws and fangs can easily tear apart iron as if it were paper. As with any higher rank Undead, its intelligence is higher than normal mindless zombies.]

’I get all that, now tell me about its weaknesses.’

[Affirmative. Its body is weak and can be injured grievously just like a normal human’s. Moreover, albeit it has higher intelligence, it’s lower than that of a human. However, I suggest not to underestimate it, lest you want to be sent flying again.]

The System explained but by the end of its sentence, Allen low-key felt like he was being mocked but ignored it.

He had more important fish to fry.

"You say it’s fast? Let’s test it out shall we."

The Rocket Boots activated as Allen flew to the skies until he reached above the Hammerclaw by a foot.

To check its speed, Allen fired a bullet at it to see if it could dodge.

The Hammerclaw sensing the danger, flew to the side, easily dodging the bullet.

Allen used this chance to close in on it and thrust his hand forward to slam it with his gun.

However, the Hammerclaw grabbed it just before it touched its chest. Not only that, it even twisted the barrel, making cracks appear on the gun.

"...!"

Allen was stunned seeing the Undead’s brute strength even more so as he struggled to pull back the gun.

What’s more, he felt that the Hammerclaw’s bloody eyes glinted with arrogance.

"Idiot."

A sonic boom resounded as Allen kicked the Hammerclaw and sent it flying like a kite with no strings.

"Hmph! A mere corpse dares to look at me with arrogance? Courting death." Allen snorted as he looked at the place the Hammerclaw was sent flying.

’It has intelligence alright. Not only did it manage to sense the danger posed by the bullet and dodged it, but also managed to break my gun knowing it was the source.’ Allen analyzed the strength his opponent had displayed.

’The problem? Not enough understanding of the real threat, me. It thought I would play tug of war with it? What a joke. Who the hell lets go of an opportunity to injure a distracted opponent?’

"It’s still not up?"

Allen raised an eyebrow, noticing the Hammerclaw still not come back for revenge.

He used the Rocket Boots and flew to the place where he sent the Hammerclaw flying.

Upon reaching, he witnessed the Hammerclaw with a huge rupture where he had kicked it.

However, at this moment, its body seemed to be more lean and its claws had transformed into two drills

[It has transformed into its attack form. In this form, its speed and strength increases exponentially in exchange for an even lower defense.]

"Grrh...!"

The Hammerclaw growled seeing Allen.

Allen thought as he prepared for a dangerous battle.

The Hammerclaw flew at a blinding speed as it aimed straight for Allen’s neck.

Allen deactivated the Rocket Boots just before impact as he let gravity pull him back to the earth.

He reactivated it before making contact with the ground and flew straight to the opposite direction at top speed.

He could see the Hammerclaw trailing behind him with anger in its eyes.

’Bring it on, son of bitch.’

The Magnetic Gauntlets flared up as cars, trucks, bikes started to float in the air.

’Take this!’

Dozens of objects were thrown directly at the Hammerclaw as Allen still continued to fly without a stop.

"GRRAAAGH!!"

The Hammerclaw roared as it dodged every single one of them with its unbelievable speed.

’It’s too fast.’

Allen’s brows creased as he prepared another volley.

However, this time, he crushed the objects into spherical shapes the size of a human to have better aerodynamics.

The results were better as at least two of them were able to make contact.

However, they were easily ripped apart by the drills and reduced to nothing more than scrap metal.

It might seem like a failure on Allen’s end, except... he never expected the metal balls to stop it.

’Time bought!’

Allen thought, as he brought his hands forward.

Metal after metal surrounded the Hammerclaw, encapsulating it in a steel prison.

It didn’t stop there as more kept on coming without an end in sight forming dozens of layers. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Allen had no doubt that the Hammerclaw, given enough time, would be able to break free from the prison.

However, why would he give it time?

"Hasta la vista baby!"

Allen slammed his hands together, and the next second, the prison crushed in and of itself!

"Grraahhh...!"

A low grisly growl echoed from within as the Hammerclaw got crushed with the rest of the structure.

DHUM!

The crushed prison fell on the ground and slammed nearby zombies, earning Allen hundreds of SP, as he stopped supporting it with the Magnetic Gauntlets.
