At the moment, several transcendents from the organizations who were on the battlefield were currently utilizing the principle fragments they had secured to attain deeper principle comprehension. Some had also left the battlefield and returned to their organizations; they did not risk their lives to fight for principle fragments against those they knew were more powerful than them.

The district had resumed its full activities. All the organizations that made the guild run effectively had resumed their duties. At this moment, several transcendents who had made names for themselves during the chaotic beast tide were being discussed by not only those in the Castellan District, but in the other districts, too.

Those who were discussed the most were the dark horses who had dazzled everyone during the chaotic beast tide. The most talked-about person among the dark horses at the moment was someone nicknamed "The Reaper"—a person who had joined the Dawnseer Guild just a few years ago.

He had demonstrated uncanny and unconventional use of the Principle of Space during the chaotic beast tide. Not only that, he was somewhat of a dangerous tactician in addition. The sight of him luring the most powerful Rank 1 novice-stage chaotic beast into an environment that led to the death of the mouse was something many were still discussing, among some other things he did on the battlefield.

Apart from using the Principle of Space to slaughter very strong Rank 1 novice-stage chaotic beasts on the battlefield, he had also done something very terrifying. He had killed 50 and something Rank 1 novice-stage transcendents from several organizations in the district during the altercation for principle fragments after the beast tide without batting an eye. It was not just what he did that shocked everyone; it was how he did it. It was as if he had deleted them from existence instead of just... killing them. This was what had earned him the name, "The Reaper."

Many sighed. They were really looking forward to the upcoming National Guild Union competitions. The district competitions for each city were coming up. For Richtchard City, the five guilds—each one in a district of the city—would be competing against each other first, and the guild that came out as the winner would proceed to the inter-city competitions to represent the city against the representatives of other cities who had been chosen using similar methods.

If nothing untoward happened to this Kailen Darkhaven now, he would really be a headache for the other guilds in Richtchard City.

Several guild members were going through holographic mission boards to select missions. A large holographic panel appeared in the center of the room.

"Look, it’s the Premium Ranking List!"

"Finally, we can see who managed to get on the ranking!"

Several stared at the ranking list. They were not too surprised about the top ten still on the rankings.

Someone sighed. "These fellows really are persistent. No one managed to overtake them."

"The first-ranked, Julian Seir, is something else. That guy can’t even give others a break."

"Look, the 10th place..."

"How is that possible?"

"Well, I now remember. One of the top ten, Argos Vundo, died to the attack of several peak Rank 2 novice-stage transcendents from the Stillwater mercenary organization during the altercation for the principle fragments after the chaotic beast tide."

"Considering Kailen Darkhaven’s achievements in the chaotic beast tide, many had already predicted he would appear in the top 20 on the Premium Ranking List, and somewhere close to the top ten. With the death of the person ranked on the tenth place, it’s only natural he appeared on the tenth place."

"Yeah, you have a point but, check his contribution points... even though the others in the top ten have a higher number of contribution points than him, which is to be expected since they are all Rank 2 novice-stage transcendents, killed powerful chaotic beasts than he did, and they are all monsters on the premium ranking list already, his contribution points are quite abnormal. That fellow is literally something else... one cannot judge him with common sense. I think it’s only a matter of time before he overtakes even Julian!"
