Evangelo, the lion, and the elf shot towards the salamander.

The lion-looking demihuman manifested a cerulean hue before him. The cerulean hue turned into water chariots radiating intense power. The water chariot shot towards the salamander.

The elf waved his hand. A large staff formed from wind appeared in his hand. The wind staff came down on the salamander.

Evangelo was the last to act. A flaming sword shot out of his figure, heading towards the salamander.

The salamander spotted the attacks. The Rank 3 novice-stage chaotic beast roared. Large balls of blue flames shot out of its mouth, headed towards the attacks heading towards it. The moment the large balls of flames came into contact with the attacks, the balls of flames snuffed out the attacks into smithereens.

For the next few moments, above the larva pool, the salamander was engaged in a brutal confrontation with the three creatures that had appeared in its territory to cause trouble for it.

Eventually, the salamander was growing weak, sustaining injuries. Its attackers were no different. However, they seemed to be doing better than the creature.

At this moment, glints of coldness flashed through the eyes of Evangelo and company. Each of them wanted to secure the kill for the creature. The creature was very weak at this point. It was on its last legs. Another attack and it would perish. But, there was no way any of them would allow one to secure the kill.

Only one of them would have to survive. They belonged to the same guild. But so what? Each of them wanted to secure a higher ranking and ultimately climb to the top. There was no hesitation in their eyes. They turned to look at one another.

Those watching the stream, whose eyes were currently glued to this part of the screens, zoomed in to see what was going to happen.

They were not shocked though. Similar occurrences were happening everywhere. Guild members pretended to work together, turning on one another in the end. It seemed these three were about to have a showdown to determine who would be the last person standing. That person would in turn kill the salamander on its last legs, floating in the larva pool.

At this moment, the audience only saw someone manifest pop out of the void. The moment the person appeared, he waved his hand.

The salamander groaned weakly. It felt the space across its cells being separated, widened from one another. The feeling spread to every part of its body. Very soon, they saw that the salamander kind of disappeared from existence.

The fellow who had just appeared didn’t even glance in the direction of the creature he had just eliminated. He locked eyes with the three individuals who were previously about to fight each other, but had turned to look at him with bloodshot eyes.

"Evangelo, right?" Kailen stared in the direction of one of them " I hope the head of the Insidious Assassin Syndicate is watching. Also, I hope the reward for killing me is not too small, else I will be quite disappointed."

The fellow said, voice casual and carefree, almost genuine. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Evangelo naturally knew who this person was. It was Kailen Darkhaven. As for the other two, they naturally didn’t know who he was. All they knew was that he had stolen their kill. This bastard had to die.

The two shot towards Kailen.

Kailen waved his hand. A very large spatial bell formed in front of him. It was very ethereal. The spatial bell spun, causing the void to bend and twist. The bell shot towards the two figures flashing towards Kailen , one crashing towards the bell with a sword formed from water, the other with a fist of wind crashing towards it.

The spatial bell and the two attacks collided. The water sword and the fist of wind assumed a streamlike shape, twisting as the spatial bell seemed to swallow them. Eventually, the two attacks disappeared as if they never existed.

The duo cursed. Naturally, they should have been stronger than this fellow. But they were injured after the battle with the salamander. Obviously, they were not in good shape to execute their principle attacks. They turned to flee. By this time, Evangelo had already left.

The duo now understood why he fled earlier. He knew in his injured state after the battle with the salamander, this bastard would be able to easily kill him. The audience watching this from various locations in the continent also had similar thoughts. This new guy was very scheming.

Also, many came to a realization. Was this the fellow rumored to have offended the Insidious Assassin Syndicate? It seems his earlier words were a psychological blow to the Insidious Assassin Syndicate head. How audacious!

Kailen naturally did not care about what others were thinking. The ethereal spatial bell melded with the void and reappeared in the line of vision of the two fellows. The bell came into contact with them. Their forms bended and twisted as the space across their beings twisted intensely.

By the time the spatial bell passed through them, they were gone, obliterated from existence.

Kailen melded with the void and disappeared.

Evangelo cursed under his breath. Naturally, he would have been happy to encounter Kailen Darkhaven, since this would have given him a great opportunity to kill him. However, the fellow had appeared at a time he was injured after having a battle with a chaotic beast. Not only that, this bastard had stolen their kill.
