The next day.

Early in the morning, the other disciples were already surprised to find the rune array dome that had been covering the main sect hall was gone.

They could see it clearly, and some of them even walked up and touched the walls of the building.

"What happened?" Yun Yun asked.

An Yue walked over and explained everything. Yun Yun, Ji Xue, and the other disciples listened to what An Yue had to say.

They looked shocked by what Luo Mei had gone through, something none of them had seen coming.

But they were clearly relieved to see that the trouble between Luo Mei, Wu Yue, and Lin Tian had come to a full end.

While talking with An Yue, Yun Yun suddenly felt a powerful surge run through her body.

It had been getting worse because she hadn’t gone through a recovery session with Lin Tian for the entire past week.

That had caused the level of lust in her body to climb a little higher each day, becoming harder and harder to keep down. The only way to get rid of it was to ask Lin Tian for help.

An Yue looked panicked when Yun Yun dropped to her knees, her breathing rapid and her hands clutching her tightening chest.

"What’s wrong, Yun’er?" An Yue asked.

"It seems my condition is getting worse. I need Master Lin’s help to get it under control," Yun Yun replied.

An Yue listened, then brought her along to the main sect hall. When they opened the door, Lin Tian wasn’t there.

If he wasn’t in the front courtyard or the main hall, they were both sure he had to be in the back courtyard.

As they were walking over, they faintly sensed spiritual qi as they tried to get closer to the area.

The qi burst was strong, blue in color, and felt aggressive. They even had to stop walking for a moment when they felt it.

"What... is happening?"

After adjusting, they arrived at the back courtyard and found Lin Tian there, along with Cao Ying, Wu Yue, and An Xiao.

They were all standing and watching ahead, where Luo Mei sat cross-legged, floating above the ground. A white rune array had appeared around her, spinning clockwise and supplying spiritual qi energy to her.

What surprised An Yue even more was the presence of a flicker of blue Earth Flame resting in front of Luo Mei. She was certain that was the flame Luo Mei had been searching for all along.

An Xiao sensed An Yue’s qi aura. She turned and smiled, greeting An Yue as she arrived with Yun Yun.

"Yue’er?"

Lin Tian and the others instinctively turned and looked in the same direction as An Xiao. He saw An Yue and Yun Yun coming together.

Just as both of them were about to step closer to Lin Tian, Yun Yun stopped when her chest tightened with a sharp ache, the lust peaking inside her body causing her private area to grow wet for no apparent reason.

Lin Tian noticed and acted immediately. He moved quickly toward Yun Yun and grabbed her so she wouldn’t fall. The girl’s face had gone completely red and her breathing was coming fast and heavy.

I haven’t treated her in a week. It makes sense the surge of lust in her body would build up like this.

"Cao Ying," Lin Tian called.

"What is it, Lin Tian?"

"Stay here and keep watch over Luo Mei’s soul bonding process with the Severing Azure Flame. I’ll take Yun Yun to be treated," Lin Tian replied.

"Understood."

Lin Tian and Yun Yun left the back courtyard quickly. An Yue walked back to the front courtyard to watch over Yun Yun’s recovery.

Once they arrived at the front courtyard, Lin Tian and Yun Yun sat cross-legged on the ground.

"Activate your cultivation technique. Try to hold back the surge," Lin Tian said.

"Yes, Master Lin."

Both of Lin Tian’s hands formed array seals, then launched a white qi orb forward and activated the lust-suppression qi array on Yun Yun.

White light shone fairly bright, and rune arrays appeared both below and above Yun Yun.

Several qi bursts went off accompanied by gusts of wind. Yun Yun kept trying to hold back the surge of lust by staying focused on her cultivation.

The level of lust surging through her was quite high. Even pressing it down to a low number would take a lot of time and energy.

Is there another way to bring down this surge?

An Yue arrived at the front courtyard and saw that Yun Yun was already inside Lin Tian’s rune array. She looked to be in pain and exhausted, with white qi bursts going off every ten seconds.

But the more the qi bursts fired, the worse Yun Yun’s condition became.

Lin Tian examined the girl’s condition through his cultivation vision. The lust percentage had gone down, but not by any significant amount.

Lin Tian suspected that the accumulation of lust deep in Yun Yun’s soul heart was making it nearly impossible to control. Continuing to force the rune array on her would only make her condition deteriorate.

She vomited blood and felt the pain in her chest growing sharper. Lin Tian saw it happen.

"Yun’er?" An Yue called out.

Lin Tian raised his hand and swept it to the side, dissolving the rune array and stopping the flow of qi energy to Yun Yun.

The white runes vanished from above and below her. Her eyes opened and she was still breathing hard. An Yue hurried over to Yun Yun’s side, asking how she was doing.

"The surge has eased a little, but it hasn’t gone away completely," Yun Yun replied.

She glanced forward and met Lin Tian’s eyes, "Do you... have a solution for this?"

Her condition got this bad because I shut myself in the main hall for a week. Maybe I can ease the surge of lust in her body by doing that.

"Come with me to the main sect hall, Yun’er."

"There’s something I need to talk to you about," Lin Tian added.

She nodded and walked with Lin Tian into the building. An Yue didn’t follow and was told to go back to training as usual. She obeyed without showing any sign of suspicion.

Once inside the main sect hall, Lin Tian turned around with both hands clasped behind his back, his eyes on Yun Yun’s face.

"I honestly don’t want to do this, but I think it’s the only way for you to recover."

"What is it, Master Lin? I’ll do it," Yun Yun replied.

Lin Tian went quiet for a moment, then let out a slow breath.

"We’re going to perform the Lingxian Sect’s secret technique ritual," Lin Tian explained.

Yun Yun was a little taken aback hearing that, her heart beating faster and her face flushing with a shy warmth. She knew very well what the Lingxian Sect’s secret technique meant.

She still remembered clearly the moment she had broken through, just one day after performing that secret technique.

In her view, if the technique could ease the surge inside her and help her break through faster, then Yun Yun was willing to accept it.

"What do you think? I don’t want to force you to—"

"Let’s do it," Yun Yun said firmly, with complete conviction.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Besides, I’d be getting the benefit of breaking through sooner," Yun Yun replied.

Lin Tian let out another breath and cleared his throat briefly, "Alright. Come here tonight at midnight."

"U-Understood, Master Lin."
