Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 572: Cosmic Fighters Are Insane
Garion stretched his body before shoving both hands into his pockets. "Alright... let’s stop with the questions already."
He jerked his thumb toward the arena. "Now that everyone’s here, can we just get moving? I wanna watch some fights already."
Rovak laughed. "Fine then. The arena’s the perfect place to show you just how insane fights in the Cosmic Universe can get."
Slifera nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Even if you’re an A1, you’re still just a beginner in this massive universe."
Elisa sighed and shot both of them an annoyed look. "Can you two stop talking like that? Why are you trying to bring our friend down already?"
Garion chuckled. "That’s enough, Elisa. I’m not gonna get discouraged that easily."
He grinned as he cracked his knuckles. "Now I really wanna see how good these cosmic fighters are."
Rovak and Slifera exchanged amused grins while Elisa could only shake her head with a sigh.
The group headed toward the arena and then suddenly... BOOOOM!
A deafening explosion thundered across the entire area, shaking the ground beneath their feet.
Surprisingly, nobody around them even seemed shocked, as if this was completely normal.
Garion froze for a second before blurting out, "DAMN!"
Rovak burst out laughing. "Haha! Don’t look so surprised. We’re not even inside yet."
Slifera smirked. "Yeah, today’s a special match. Two Star Realm cultivators are fighting."
Garion’s eyes widened for a moment before a huge grin spread across his face.
"If that’s the case," he said excitedly, "then let’s hurry up. I wanna see just how strong Star Realm cultivators really are."
---
Every few seconds, another shockwave rattled the surrounding pathways slightly, and Garion only became more excited because of it.
He wanted to see just how strong these cultivators were if their battles could shake an entire Cosmic Terminal.
The moment they entered the battle arena district, Garion froze for a second.
The place was enormous.
No... enormous didn’t even feel like the right word.
There were massive holograms floating everywhere, advertisements flashing across every corner of the arena district.
One of them immediately caught Garion’s attention because it was the same one Slifera mentioned earlier.
[STAR REALM SPECIAL MATCH LIVE NOW]
[LIMITED SEATS REMAINING]
[VOID ARENA DISTRICT 7]
Garion pointed at the hologram. "Is that the one we’re going to watch?"
Rovak laughed loudly. "Of course it is. And just so you know... that’s the only Star Realm fight happening here right now."
Garion blinked in surprise. "Excuse me? The only one? I thought Star Realm cultivators were everywhere in the Cosmic Universe."
The entire group immediately looked at him like he had just asked the dumbest question possible.
Slifera let out a long sigh before dramatically pointing around them. "Garion, you need to understand something. Most people here are still in the Awakening Realm."
Then he pointed downward.
"And this Cosmic Terminal isn’t even one of the major central ones, so of course Star Realm cultivators are rare here."
Garion slowly nodded.
Honestly, after meeting Paren earlier, he already knew Star Realm cultivators were on an entirely different level.
Still... he never thought they were actually rare.
Seeing Paren around so casually made him assume there had to be plenty of Star Realm cultivators nearby.
But now that he thought about it...
If there really were large numbers of people at Paren’s level here, then even Paren himself would probably have trouble handling them all.
Soon, the group finally arrived near the entrance of the arena.
Calling it an arena almost felt wrong.
It looked more like a gigantic floating continent surrounded by countless metallic structures and glowing barriers.
Massive crowds poured through enormous gates while gigantic holographic screens floated overhead.
The moment Garion stepped inside... BOOM!
Another terrifying explosion echoed throughout the entire arena, causing Garion to instinctively look upward.
And the moment he saw the actual battlefield... his entire body stiffened.
The battle wasn’t happening inside the arena at all. It was taking place far away in open cosmic space itself.
Yet despite that unbelievable distance, the shockwaves from the fight still reached the arena.
Because of that, gigantic holographic screens had been placed everywhere to display the battle clearly from multiple angles.
Garion’s eyes widened again. "What the hell is this...? Is this how Star Realm cultivators fight?"
Rovak grinned proudly after seeing Garion’s reaction. "Told you."
The group moved deeper into the audience area while countless spectators filled the gigantic rows of seats surrounding them.
Then Garion looked toward the screen again.
BOOOOM!
Space itself distorted violently.
Two figures collided in the middle of open cosmic space while massive shockwaves exploded outward like cosmic storms.
Garion instinctively froze.
One of the fighters wielded a massive crimson spear covered in flames so hot that even the surrounding vacuum twisted and warped around it.
The other controlled countless floating metallic blades that moved like an endless storm.
Every movement shattered space itself.
Every collision released enough force to flatten mountains. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Garion was already shocked too many times today. "Damn... the Cosmic Universe is actually insane."
Rovak grinned, crossing his arms while staring toward the gigantic holographic screen above them.
"Of course it’s insane, Garion, and also for your first show... you really picked a pretty crazy one."
Garion kept watching the battlefield without blinking. "Crazy, huh...? Then who even are those two monsters?"
Slifera immediately pointed toward the crimson spear user currently tearing through space with explosive flames. "That one’s Dravon."
Every swing of the spear caused massive firestorms to erupt across the battlefield while space itself twisted violently around him.
Slifera continued. "He is a wandering spear cultivator famous for overwhelming offense."
Rovak grinned. "People call him the Crimson Void Spear."
Then Elisa calmly pointed toward the other fighter controlling countless floating metallic blades.
"And that one is Verin."
The floating blades moved like a massive storm around the silver-haired woman, while every movement looked calm and precise compared to Dravon’s explosive attacks.
"She’s from the Astral Blade Pavilion," Elisa explained quietly. "A faction specializing in high-speed weapon control techniques."
Garion watched as thousands of blades suddenly merged together before crashing against Dravon’s flaming spear.
BOOOOM!
The entire arena shook again.
Rovak smirked slightly. "Dravon is famous for brute force."
Slifera nodded immediately. "And Verin is famous for cutting people apart before they even realize they lost."
Garion slowly grinned while staring at the terrifying battle. "Yeah. This universe is definitely insane."
